Throughout life, we have all had a nickname(s) that we have had at one point or another that makes us cringe. I would like to hear what kind of nicknames the users on MLP forums have. I have collected many, many nicknames, most of them through sports. I have been known as:

 

The Tank (my Hockey nickname, position: right wing)

 

The Freight Train (my Lacrosse nickname, position: defence. I actually like this one, I am described as hitting as hard as a freight train)  

 

Dog Hater (I literally have no clue how this one started, and it hurt me a lot whenever someone called me it. I love dogs and all animals with a passion. I want to become a veterinarian.)

Left Hook: Known for my boxing past, where I always use a left hook to finish my opponent.

 

Scootalove: Basically, a name that I made and have earned from my dedication to Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.

Let's see, where to start. From sports: Jeans, because I always wore jeans to rugby practice. Monkey Boy because I ate bananas at every game. From life: Wolf Boy because I'm pretty hairy. Wolfman Jack for the same reason. Mondo because I looked like a guy named Mondo. Mr. Black because I always wore a black T-shirt when I... uh... worked my corner. Middle school I was known as "Soap" (From Call of Duty).

GIR, yes from Invader Zim, was my most popular nickname throughout school. I've been told I can do the voice very well, and I'm a huge Jhonen Vasquez fan.

 

Ajax, this one... not really sure how it stuck. Moved to a new school senior year, and one of the guys I became friends with signed my name as that for some reason instead of my real name on something.

 

Joker, from Mass Effect. This one is really only from one friend, but he calls me it often enough that it should count I guess. My personality can be very much like Joker at times when gaming with friends, doesn't help that I own the black and white SR2 hat and wear it almost religiously unless it's really windy or I'm doing something where it might get dirty. Coolest. Hat. Ever.

 

 

 

They called me Shaymus in highschool. I have no idea why.

 

We used to call a friend that in highschool, and I can't remember why.

well i actually had a few. some i liked, some i hated and some that are just downright embarrassing.

Boobaloo: that was always my moms pet name for me growing up. *shudder*

Masterchef: on a campout i bragged about my cooking skills and then i burned the food, earning the very sarcastic dubbing of masterchef

Shamu: im chubby and people are mean.

Jsnake: not really sure

Elfboy: i use to be skinny, and when i would buzz my hair my ears would look more pointy and i would look like an elf

Tank: slightly sarcastic nickname i got in high school because i was big.

Tard: i realize this may be offensive to some people so dot getmad at me please. this is a very endearing name my family has for me because, well its kind of self-explanatory.

I was always the weird, isolated kid, and my last name sounds ridiculously close to "sausage". Those were some fun elementary school years.

 

But, I had a group of friends once upon a time in which we will gave nicknames to each other. The one picked out for me was none other than my username. I always have liked it, and though those friends and I aren't very close anymore, I've stuck with it.

Otherwise, my friends always have a new nickname... Usually related to being giggly, because somehow I have become more giggly lately than I used to be. xD One has also called me 'Pinkie Pie', since one time I somehow got them to watch a few episodes of the show and they immediately saw the resemblance. lol

Most are just variations on my name (Zane) like Zane-o or InZane. Having a short name sucks. The only other nickname I really got was Gecko. Apparently, I move like one on the soccer field, whatever in the sam hill that means.

I was called Pikachu at my old school because I was very quick and energetic.

 

The guys at the YMCA called me Detroit because of my great defense in basketball.
