I have not seen this movie yet, heard a lot about it though.

 

Without reading the link, I will say this: Lets say this movie did have a homosexual agenda, lets give these people that. Okay, why is it horrible for this movie to have that BUT, The Passion Of The Christ, a film that is all about torture, murder, violence and gore, all on the name of a superstition, THAT is perfectly acceptable. Hell, there were parents that dragged their poor children to see that terrible movie.

 

Yet, show anything that might hint towards a main character having a different love interest than the 'norm', everything unravels into chaos.

 

Sad, quite sad.

 

Not that it totally justifies the evident double standard, but from what I understand, there is significant historical evidence that Jesus was a real person who really was crucified. Whether or not He was the Son of God is a different question altogether (although yes, I do believe He was). Of course, I couldn't provide you with that historical evidence of His existence off hand, and I may be mistaken that it even exists. And if I am, I apologize for my ignorance. But if indeed there is such evidence, then that makes The Passion of the Christ, at least to some extent, a theatrical interpretation of historical events.

I think it's a bit much to say that His divinity was "clearly" bologna. Sure, there's really no proof that He was who He claimed to be, but there's no proof to the contrary, either. I'm not saying that the inability to disprove His divinity proves His divinity, either. I'm just saying that it's impossible to have absolute logical certainty either way.

 

And yeah, it was violent, but crucifixion was a violent death. And whether He was the Son of God or just insane, He was determined in His belief and in His love for the very people who were torturing and killing Him, so determined that He willingly suffered that death for the belief that it would offer them salvation from worse. Whether He was right or not aside, the point is that He made an incredible sacrifice for love. At least, that's the idea of that movie.

 

And I really don't think it's anti-Semitic, and least not in a general sense. It just happened that the Jewish religious leaders of the day were the ones to kill Him. That's not meant to be a commentary on modern Jews, just a depiction of historical events

 

As for why that movie can get away with that and Frozen can't get away with "homosexual agendas" (which really weren't there), I'll just say that one old lady's criticism doesn't really mean much. There'll always be critics of anything anyone disagrees with. Far as I can tell, it's hardly worth getting worked up over. If they want to complain, let 'em complain.

How does Elsa having ice powers relate to homosexuality? IT'S FREAKIN STUPID!! Nothing in this movie points towards that at all, Elsa simply suffered from serious confidence and trust issues, she didn't want help, she just wanted to be left alone because she was under the mentality that she would hurt everyone if she was among society. What does that have to do with being gay?

 

The people who wrote this remind me so much of the people who say MLP promotes the same thing, and that it's Satanic. Well that's just serious exaggeration and looking at things completely the wrong way

 

Oh and for the whole thing about Elsa not having any interest in dating, and the girls saving themselves, that's because this movie is breaking free of the traditional Disney stereotype. Looking at things from a more real life aspect, women IRL can't depend on a prince to bail them out, they have to fight for themselves, and true love comes from getting to know the person better as presented in the movie. So that's a good message to give to kids, not a bad one

I haven't seen Frozen yet. Sooner or later if bigots like these keep this whole "gay agenda" crap up, a movie with a straight couple in it will probably get just as much as a despicable review as this one. Absolutely not! Frozen is amazing, great songs, believable and deep characters, and very progressive compared to the Disney Princesses of the past. The concept of 'love' is different here. Instead of 'someday my prince will come' we get 'family friends, and strong and long standing relationships are more important than whirl wind relationships. Love thy brother (or thy sister) Is very prominent in the over all theme of the movie. It's about family friends and getting a foothold in this crazy thing we call life. The movie is beautiful! People like this are just to close minded to understand. So give it a watch, you won't be disappointed.

I don't really think too much of it, I mean its just a disney movie guys. Nothing more. Its a really good and funny disney movie. Minus the annoying amount of singing in this movie lol. I love else
