Sweetie Belle's voice

It sounds like they changed Sweetie Belle's voice. What's with that? Her voice was, for a lack of a better word, sweet. I don't know why they have to change something that isn't broken or anything. It doesn't sound right in this episode. It makes me think something is wrong with the video. If it wasn't for the fact that she's still in the credits, I wouldn't have been surprised if Creber had tried voicing her this time.

I say the same thing. It lacks that "edgy tone", that squeaky part that we all loved. It was like bland and normal, unless the VA wasn't on her game the day of recording.

They didn't change it. Claire got older so, there is a reason why her voice is different from then to now.

 

It's called puberty, her voice sounds different but she is still Sweetie Belle. But, mostly it's either Michelle Creber or Claire singing as Sweetie Belle.

This song was actually sung by Michelle Creber, who is often the "singing voice" of Sweetie Belle.

Yes. The singing actor is diffrent. SHes the voice of Applebloom! THats why Singing Bloom sounds like Singing Belle.

As for why she sounds different, they changed the singing voice actor from Michelle Creber to Claire Corlett.

VA's get older, and on top of that, there's the possibility that the show could be aiming to ease into more mature voices as well. Characters' voices should be expected to change just like us :3 Doesn't decrease the characters' value or change who they are and why you like them.

I think it has to do with the voice actress getting older. The voice actress is a kid so naturally as a kid grows, their voice is going to change. So it's literally like Sweetie Belle is hitting puberty.

Of course she's getting older, but she seems to be doing a good job of keeping Sweetie Belle's voice consistent. At least she hasn't lost her voice cracks. Not something I would pay too much attention to.
