Basically I have cuddled and watched tv with my twilight sparkle plushie, using her as a avatar for the real pony since she really doesn't exist. If however Twilight Sparkle were real I would want to go on a date with her and such. Because she is such a 3D charecter i feel an real bond with her. I am curious of your guyses thoughts on this, if anypony in here is into psychology maybe you could explain it in a psychological fashion? The brain I find fascinating. Ah simple, after being married for 6 years and sleeping with someone for that long... its hard not to want to sleep next to someone or better yet some pony. So to put it simple... I haven't pretended to go on a date with one of my Rarity plushies, but I'll watch TV with them, sit at my computer with them...hell, I even have a small one just to take to school with me My favorite one is my newest one, the one sitting in the chair: I do most of my daily activities with one in tow I dunno. I guess watching TV is date enough 4 me. Oh, and yes. But setting that topic aside, yes, cuddling with plushies is normal in my opinion. I mean, I have a red panda plush that I lovingly hug when I'm having a bad day. Does it mean it's weird? No. Now if I had an Applebloom plush (Celestia willing), I will cuddle it the same way. I'm not going to start 'going on dates' or whatever. Though Sometimes I'll cuddle up on the couch with her and watch Netflix or whatever. (Don't tell Fluttershy, she'd be devastated) I've got a big cuddly Fluttershy on the way though! So hopefully she forgives me not giving her the attention she deserves.... Dating I reserve for the waifu....I'd never date Derpy.
