Is there a way to contact the dev team I found a glitch while training with Fluttershy. It would be nice if some one can corroborate

• If you combo the Zoo Supper (Stryder Hiryu  ) right after THE STARE when the bear hits it will freeze the screen.

Been trying to do this for two days now

Special moves are activated by inputs you "mix" ( arrows and attack buttons)  For example with Twi basically you have to "type" fast down, down+forward, forward and right when you are finishing the button A, B or C . This will activate her "firehorn" and she will shoot it. 
 
All fighting games have some kind of this inputs this moves are called "specials" and each character will have its own but the basic inputs may stay

• forward,down+forward,down down+backwards,backwards + attack (An "U" movement)
• down,down+forward,forward + attack (A "half U" movement)
• down down+backwards,backwards + attack (A "half U" movement going backwards)
• forward,down+forward,down down+backwards,backwards + attack (An "U" movement going backwards)

try for some time its kind of hard to get use to the movement but with practice you will be there in no time. 
 
Also if you want to start practising more simple special moves you can start with pinkie she has a couple of moves called "charged moves" this is achieved by holding a directional button and then moving in the opposite direction right after wards

•  Maintain Backwards hold for a couple of seconds, forward + attack -- this will tell pinky to make a rolling tackle.

Hope this helps its a tutorial that shows how a "hitbox" works. This are the more close tutorials to play fighting games on a keyboard

I just tried. "type" fast down, down+forward, forward and right when you are finishing the button A, B or C .I typed on the arrow keys... Was that right? Is the game just not working?

If I may have a question, Can I use the USB controller for the game? Cuz Normally I don't use the keyboard for the games I play unless Necessary

Downloaded it earlier today.  The AI is still a bit challenging (playing on a keyboard) but does not feel as spamy as the last version I found at the P-Bay.

 

Time to dig out my PS3 controller,   or should I look into getting a PS4 one?  I just remember the PS3 all the drivers and program I had to download just to use it.

 

And no I wont get an X-Box controller.

Before this release there were  "Leaked" Versions of the game.  One with out Fluttershy and DR.  Another with Early versions of them (and super hard AI)

I think I played the first leaked version, I think, that was like a pre-alpha, or alpha version, but the other one, I don't think so, and what does leaked mean anyway, and is this the first full version of the game, or like a pre-alpha, alpha, or beta version? I think it is a full version, just a very hard full version. The difficulty needs to be toned down so it can be more fun, as well as the other changes I suggested eariler. What I like to know is how they got away with this. Wasn't the official one taken down, never to see a release? If so, isn't this one illegal? What will happen if the creators of the official one, or Hasbro found out about this? Will it be taken down? It just, those are things to think about, right?

I found downloads from "the PirateBay"  basically a site that people share everything on.  (I do not recommend going there without an AdBlock software)   MANE6 never officially released copy's to the public.  Some one just got there hands on it and distributed it.  So all of those I would say are pre-beta.  Used to show off their work.  And as we all know HASBRO didn't like them using their license, so they send a CnD.  MANE6 could no longer work on the game.  

That did not stop fans from working on it.  The CnD was specifically for MANE6 ,  If  Hasbro had found out some one ells was working on it, they would of received a CnD as well.   But now that it is out there, there is not much they can do.  They can shut down the "official" download link, but once  something is on the net... it kinda never goes away.

 

MANE6 may get questioned, however since they have adhered to their CnD there is not anything Hasbro can do to them.

I purchased the ps3 controller long ago when I was playing FFXI on pc.  I know how to hook it up, I just heard the PS4 one is easier to do so.

My Little Pony is Licensed (Owned) by Hasbro.  So To Produce something like a Movie or Game they would ahve to seek permision and  aquire the License.   Fan works kinda fall in a grey area where they can and can't.  I can't really go further in detail as it gets terribly complicated.

Yes that is right just be sure your character has an special move with that input i would recommend to configure your keyboard like this

 

Up down left right --- The arrows

 

A Button ---- Z

B Button ---- X

C Button ---- C

D Button ---- A

E Button ---- S

F Button ---- D

 

Keep trying I know it can be frustrating to start but with some tries you will be doing them with ease.

Yes you can, I have use my PS2 controler PC adapter, my PS3 controller with a X360 adapter and a normal pad a friend used to play, so I would say any PC compatible controller must work.

So it appears a group of fans (not the original MANE6 team) probably worked on this after the C&D and released it in spite of Hasbro's action.  Does MANE6 actually know about this?  Last I'd heard, MANE6 and Lauren Faust had started working together to build a new version with completely original characters, so that Hasbro wouldn't have a leg to stand on.  I'd imagine that having the original, MLP-based Fighting is Magic out and playable would kinda undermine that.

I agree. It is way too hard. This version needs to be toned down in terms in difficulty.

I managed to beat story mode as Rainbow Dash. Don't really use combos as those things are impossible to hit realibly in combat. Kinda wish there were harder/easier AI settings.

Impressive. With a story mode as hard this game's, just beating it once with one pony is an achievement. I will give you a medal as well, if I could, that is. It will say like, Tired Brony, doing the impossible. You should be proud of yourself. You accomplished something I will think be impossible. I hope to accomplish it too, but it is just too hard for me.

Well there would've been a difficulty levels in this game because I'm just a casual player. I wanted to try the game out, but only if there was a training session or option to use.
