Mostly yes, but the time it would take to adapt would depend on how major or minor the changes are.

4-5, mostly because Season 3 didn't have much substance aside from the finale (not in reference to how short it is) and the first quarter of season 1 only kept my interest. There are few episodes of seasons 4 and 5 that I dislike.
