There have been some signs of technology. The Dizz-o-Tron from Wonderbolts Academy, Mane-iac's weapon (sure it was a comic, but somepony had to have created the comic), Twilight's grid thing in Bats! was both magic and technology-like. They have pretty standard ovens, microwaves, etc.
