Bands You Think Are Underrated

Lets all share the bands we think are severely underrated or unknown, anything from any genre!

 

Lets kick it off with Nonpoint, Heavy Metal band (except their album To The Pain which is more Rapcore). Their song Bullet With a Name was used in Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 which is how a friend of mine heard it, he showed me and I loved em from the first couple of songs.

I would have said one of my favorite bands, Sleeping With Sirens... But since about a year or so ago, they seem to have made quite a larger name for themselves... I don't know... Maybe it's just me... :/

Also, for what it's worth, I really don't think Nickelback are that bad.

A can agree with all of those my friend.

Most of the bands I like are already pretty well known, but one that does come to mind is The Royal Concept.

 

Also, for what it's worth, I really don't think Nickelback are that bad.

 

With Nickleback I like Dark Horse, other than that a lot of their stuff is over played or not my style.

I'd say that Sleep Party People and Funeral Suits and Bon Iver are pretty underrated.

One Direction is overrated and is a horrible band in general and Nickelback is extremely overrated.

I don't feel that there are bad bands, I mean, musical taste varies, and is not a set number of artists.

 

Although I don't like One Direction, One Direction is just like any other wimpy boy band, a bunch of egomaniacs, with superficial appearances and intentions.

 

Nickleback is just a laugh of a band because of the various insults to them on the internet.

 

And also, this is underrated, not overrated, so I feel it be best to remain on topi

Another band I would like to mention are Vertical Horizon, first heard them on a Digimon AMV ages ago and loved em ever since.

Hm. Not where I'm from. I live in seattle and I've only met a small amount of people that have heard of these bands.

 

Maybe they are known about where you live.

Mission of Burma, they are one of my favorite punk bands from the 80's

I will go with Persuader. Also known as "angry Blind Guardian" with similiar vocals but a lot more agressive style that is mix between power, thrash, death and sometimes even black metal (they're not satanic metal though haha). Their music is heavy, songwriting is very wise and vocals are epic. One of best power metal bands now a days. But they are terribly underrated and definitely deserve much more attention than they have now. I'd definitely recommend their two most recent albums - When Eden Burns and The Fiction Maze. First one can be found on YouTube (not sure about quality there as I am at work and can't listen to that video), but anyway here is it in case You want to hear them.

 

 

 

 

Second album is pretty new and there are only two songs availible on YouTube, I think. Album itself, well.... kinda mix between When Eden Burns and Evolution: Purgatory (their 2nd album). I wish I could show best track (World Collide) but it isn't on YouTube, so...   I'll just leave a link to 6th track which is Sons of Sodom.
