Best- smile dog- is my favourite one, it's so creepy to me and the dog to me looks so Dope

Worst- cupcakes- I just have a thing against this creepypasta, to me it is not that scary it actually is just a lot of blood, gore and guts, and worst of all they turned my favourite pony into a psychopathic killer, it just makes me sick.

well what is your best and worst creepypasta.

I've read a few when my oldest daughter started to read them a few years ago. I don't personally have a favorite and I've yet to read even one that has made me appreciate the modern age equivalent of urban legend fiction. Horror has nuanced variations, and CP writers tend to miss this, but I give them a pass as they are usually younger story tellers. Even Stephen King started as a young 8 year old rewriting pulp fiction adventures and just tweaking the story a little.

That said, my oldest daughter loves them. Some of the older Jeff the Killer CP's (she will talk endlessly at how the self indulgent copycat's are diluting the concept), Slender, Ben Drowned, and Suicide Squidward tend to be her favorite ones. She showed me a MLP based one where the characters were based on real life people ... buuut she didn't realize I have a Lexis Nexus account and disproved it within 30 minutes.

I decided never to do that again.

I don't think it's really scary, but it was on the creepypasta website(I think). It was called Egg. Rather insightful.

Worst one would have to be that Jeff guy. I read it - it was alright. There is so much childish hype over it, though, that it's just become an eyesore.

Okay guys, OKAY! I've read over 100 creepypastas (not trying to brag). Over the past year, I've rated ALL of the creepy pastas that I've read.

My Favorites (In no particular order)

Pokemon Creepy Black (a classic)

Easter Egg: Snow on Mt Silver

Sonic.exe

MARIO (SMW rom hack)

Ben Drowned

Xorax

Room Zero

Rainbow Factory (it's scary how this could actually be true in the MLP:FiM universe)

I do like the Luna Games and Cupcakes. They introduced me to this fandom

Bad Pastas (The authors were probably just beginners)

Bound to Death

The Kill Waker

Kirby's Deadland

Lavender Town Is Haunting Souls

I really don't like Tails Doll Curse. I think it's badly written.

I'm not afraid of most of those silly stories, most of which aren't even creepy, just sick. I'm generally hard to scare, but stuff like the Rainbow Factory, or Cupcakes... that took depravity to a whole new level :|

yes i have heard of the luna game that was insane and very creepy that they did that to poor luna. have you heard about the one with the baby sitter and the angel statute or the experminent.

A few years ago, a mother and father decided they needed a break, so they wanted to head out for a night on the town. They called their most trusted babysitter. When the babysitter arrived, the two children were already fast asleep in bed. So the babysitter just got to sit around and make sure everything was okay with the children. Later that night, the babysitter got bored and went to watch TV, but she couldn’t watch it downstairs because they did not have cable downstairs (the parents didn’t want children watching too much garbage). So, she called them and asked them if she could watch cable in the parent’s room. Of course, the parents said it was ok, but the babysitter had one final request… she asked if she could cover up the angel statue outside the bedroom window with a blanket or cloth, at the very least close the blinds, because it made her nervous. The phone line was silent for a moment, and the father who was talking to the babysitter at the time said, “Take the children and get out of the house… we will call the police. We do not have an angel statue.”

Yes...I've heard about those Creepypastas where evil beings and wicked imposters of certain characters come from...I'm not a big fan of those because I'm not into horror-related stuff. However some of them are considered good while others are just plain confusing and dumb.

But still, we can't let the nightmares get into our heads and get the better of us. As Luna always say "Everypony has fears. Everpony must face them in their own way. But they must be faced, or the nightmares will continue!"

It depends on the pasta. I loved ones like the holder series, as all the items seemed fairly original and were very interesting to read. The SCP series is also great, as thanks to the huge number of items, the pastas range from amazing, to downright hilarious.

http://www.scp-wiki.net/ Great for a quick read, as they are small enough to be easily digestible (and also not plagued by the pacing issues most full length creepypastas have), and can range from creepy, to the macabre.

The Lavender Town Syndrome (also known as "Lavender Town Tone" or "Lavender Town Suicides") was a peak in suicides and illness of children between the ages of 7-12 shortly after the release of Pokemon Red and Green in Japan, back in February 27, 1996. the thing about this one i grew up with those games and i actually like the lavender town song so this one is very  false rumors say that these suicides and illness only occurred after the children playing the game reached Lavender Town, whose theme music had extremely high frequencies, that studies showed that only children and young teens can hear, since their ears are more sensible.

based on a true story the nightmare

Have you ever had one of those dreams, where you dream you’re doing something, only to wake up and realize you’re almost acting out your dream in real time? The most common instance of this is the ‘it’s completely normal’ wet dream, though there are many other common instances, especially in sleepwalkers, where you see yourself walking along a path, only to wake up and find yourself actually walking somewhere, and other similar scenarios. I, despite no longer being a sleepwalker, have one such story myself, from my childhood.

The year was 1996, I was 5 years old, and had recently lost my great grandmother. I was having these weird ongoing nightmares at the time, where someone would call my name.

I woke with a start, standing in the hallway outside of my room, peering into the blackness of the quiet family home. I turned around, stumbling sleepily back into my room, remembering the dream like a far off memory, and directly in front of me, the window that once sat above my bed sat empty, shattered, with its glass fragments dug into my mattress, exactly where I would have been had I not been sleepwalking…

To this day, I don’t know what caused the window to shatter, nor how the glass had managed to embed itself so deeply into the bed, nor do I know if my sleepwalking was a lucky coincidence that saved my life, or an intervention from another being. If you’re looking for a nice clean ending where everything is wrapped up and explained nicely, I’m sorry to disappoint; I’ve been searching for the answers too. Regardless, sometimes the things that scare us most, are those that we’ll never be able to rationally explain.
