Spyro vs Twilight Deathbattle

Who would win in a deathbattle, twilight or spyro.

 

And please don't bring up starscream vs rainbow dash those guys screw up there facts.

 

I like spyro more than mlp but I am not going to be biased or vote for him because I like him more.

 

you have to answer with a real answer and facts.

 

and don't just flat out say twilight or spyro.

 

I need proof that one can beat the other.

Spyro can breath fire, fly/glide, and headbutt.  

 

Twilight has what seems like unlimited magic, and flight.

 

Obviously Twilight has the upper hand.  lol

 

But neither of the two are evil, so I don't know why they'd be fighting to the death.

he also has ice, earth and air attacks but we will never know until they do it.

The only time I've seen spyro with ice, earth, air attacks is if he eats something to give him those powers.

 

He can't fly as fast as Twilight, and he has to make physical contact or breath the attacks out.  She would just have to attack from behind or above, make a forcefield, teleport, she has tons of offensive and defensive magics.

Depends. If he's an atypical dragon of myth, then Twilight is pretty much boned. In pretty much every mythos, dragons have an EXTREAMLY high resistance to magic. Judging by size, Spyro isn't that old by dragon standards, but he'd still have probably more magic resistance then she'd be able to really break.

Twilight would most likely win. I mean she has almost unlimited power. Power which are almost equivalent to nuclear weapons. I feel as though she is a little over powered now but than again she is a princess so this is expected. Why they are in a death battle is a much more interesting matter. I am sure there is already some fan fiction where this happens. One can only dream of a canon result.

You don't know that he DOES have magic resistance, as it's never shown.

We're not going by Dragon mythos, we're going the laws of his video games, while Twilight is going by the laws of her universe.

Except is there any evidence to show Spyro has high resistance to magic? If you're basing this on conjecture of a myth, then it won't cut it as just because one certain myth has dragons being resistant to magic doesn't mean Spyro will have it as he's not part of that mythos.

Sorry for taking so long but a storm knocked my power out till sometime after midnight.

 

Here are my reasons why I believe Twilight beats Spyro.

 

She has a large variety of magic spells and abilities to use against Spyro. Twilight's armory of magic includes:

 

A. Telekinisis she can ensnare and either hold them in place, break them, or teleport them at a targeted location and said telekinesis of hers is easily at double digit ton range if Unicorn Twilight has anything to say.

 

B. Teleportation where she can teleport Spyro to a location at her leisure, move to that location herself to reposition or avoid an attack, or even use teleportation fragging (teleport inside a person's body). Transmutation where she can turn him into an orange or another creature she has specifically targeted him for.

 

C. Superhuman strength at least as evidenced  by her ability to lift Tom through pure physical strength without using magic and this was when she was a Unicorn, which her Alicorn form likely augmented.

 

D. Likely Supersonic speeds in flight as she can enhance her flight speed movement using a similar technique Rainbow Dash used to enhance her movement speed in the 'Twilight Boom'.

 

E. Dark Magic so she can use effects like using mind attacks, blocking one's ability to cast magic.

 

F. Magic lasers to inflict damage.

 

G. Reverse Gravity to hamper her opponents.

 

H. Shields to protect her from both tangible and intangible threats.

 

I. Reverse or increase the age of her opponents to render them combat ineffective.

 

 

These are right of the top of my head at the moment. I'll likely show and state more if you can offer a rebuttal to my points as I would like to know what Spyro can do before I can either agree with your assertion or argue for why Twilight should defeat Spyro.

I love both characters, and don't want them to fight, mostly because I ship them...Spylight is best ship!! XD

 

Seriously though, I really do ship them. And a brutal battle to the death would kinda ruin any chances for a relationship, don't you think? I think one of the answer choices for the poll should be "neither, they'd go on a date!"

I don't think Twi has time to react and cast spells to someone who is thousands of times faster and can breath fire.

No, but still, Twi has very little knowledge on flying, you have to admit, she's pretty clumsy.

She may not have your typical wonderbolt or RD's experience in flying, but she's progressively getting better and was able to fight fine while in flight against Tirek and the tazlworm.

But Twi is fighting a very fast fire-breathing dragon, and I think the odds are against her.

However Spyro is young, probably very naive, while Twi is easily much more intelligent.

However, my issue with this debate is how little we know of Spyro's abilities and stats as he's not exactly a popular character among gamers, let alone debaters.
