I am guessing use lots and lots of water and lumosity effect in sai perhaps?

Then hope right in, I am pretty sure that I have already joined just about every fan club on the forums at one point! ^_^

Well i wish i could turn my OC who i wanted to a Crystal pony into one.

Oh, well if you want you could ask someone in the Requests guild to do it, sure someone could get ya set up! :)

I have been meaning to change my OC to a crystal pony ever since the season 3 premiere but have not gotten around to it.

And who doesn't love Ron Paul? (only crystal pony picture I could find on short notice)

It's just ridiculous that over the course of 7 seasons, with a bunch of visits to the Empire and so many recurring characters resident there, we never even got one crystal pony with a proper name, let alone a character. (Well unless you count Sombra, and even he doesn't have much of one.)

On the other hand, it does let us imagine their society with a fairly free hand...

Crystal Ponies are interesting ponies that are also a bit mysterious. The show never fully specified whether Crystal Ponies were their own pony type separate from the mane three, or if they are just a subset of the main three. Regardless of that, from what we have seen of them, they can have some pretty cool designs. Here are some examples of well designed crystal ponies:

Something interesting I have noticed about them is that their mane designs are somewhat similar to those of the Pre-Equestrian pegasi. I wonder if their is a reason behind this similarity.

Last but not least, the mane six look really cool in their crystallized forms. Here are five out of the mane six in their temporary crystallized forms:
