I think Faust deserves a Nobel prize to be honest. This show has inspired not just one but many generations of men to finally abandon that cave man bull about being the biggest baddass in the room and realise that you can be both strong and gentle as well.

So what do you mean by your outlook has changed? Are you looking forward to it now? I personally dont care one way or another. Im gonna wait till its on the internet tho.

I still dont get why everyone assumes that he is a love intrest. I've had girls hug me before and I never dated them. Its a friendship thing.

TBH I wouldnt mind at all if they just didnt mention the whole "humans eat meat" thing. Im one of those fans whos happy to accept things as they are rather than look for a cannon explination to every little thing. Id like to see a good segment set in EQ as well but likly we will only get a few minutes before she falls into the mirror.

Spoiler from Twilight and the Crystal Heart Spell * * * * * * * * * * * So its actually Gilda who comes to twilight saying "Id just do whatever I want if I were Princess". Twilight ignores her at first but throughout the book she wears an amulet that amplifys emotions. Once she starts doubting herself the amulet convinces her to go and seek Gilda to ask what she ment exactly. She finds Gilda and Trixi who are conspireing togeather, Gilda pranks people and Trixi shows up to "save the day". They then decide to trick twilight. * * * * * * * * * * End Spoiler I think the book was being written at the same time as season 3 with little communication between the author and staff since Trixi being bad again isnt the only inconsistancy.

looking at it from a Hasbro/business perspective, it's probably cheeper to keep the old names than to copyright 5 new ones. Besides, they might just be nicknames anyhow. Pinky Pie's real name is Pinkamina Dian Pie if I recall.

There are a few plotholes in the book, such as them stateing that she had only ever been to the crystal empire once before even though she was there in S3E12. Also Trixi's part seemed to ignore the events of Magic Duel, but I digress. It was a decent read for what it was.

I distintly remember LF saying that there was a pool of pre aproved generic CMs by hasbro and that the staff randomly assinges them to various background characters. I think that is the case here.

Im wondering just how not cannon its gonna be. Sunset Shimmer is defenetly going to be a recuring character in the main show. Hasbro would never miss a chance like that. The question is, will she be introduced with a wholy diffrent back story or will it be an unspoken cannon that she's from the human world?

I remember reading the part about the village and thinking, well this is kinda dark but also vague enugh that you could say there was no permanent damage. The I got to the part where she does "something" to a cat person thing in front of the CMC and the looks on their faces....well there was no mistakeing what happend there. I had to re-read it a few times to make sure I was still reading a MLP comic. not that I didnt enjoy the comic, just that part took my buy surprise.

I loved them, they seem to be alot more mature than the show. What Chrysalis did to those poor cat people...how did that get past the soccer moms? But there needs to be a sub section for the comics and the book since they add alot of cannon to the world.

I personally dont mind if people say they dont like it or wont see it, thats their opinion. What I do mind is the people who say they are leaveing the fandom or the ones insulting or even makeing death threats to the shows creators. People at DHX are getting disheartend and thinking about leaving the show because of some of these comments. That is what makes me mad. Its one thing to not like something. Its quite another to condem those who made it.

If we go with the unoffical cannon from snowdrop that the ground needs to "rest" (which id like to point out it technically does which is why we have crop rotation) then it makes sense that the unicorns would need to change the sesons. However im more inclined to believe that the play was an offical history and that it was the pegi who were responsible for seasons and the unicorns controlled night and day. This doesnt give them as much power as you might think since we must assume that earth ponies are the only ones capeable of growing food. Heres a bit of headcanon id like talked about for a project of mine. Are unicorns the only ones who can use magic or can all ponies if they have a "focus"? IE unicorns can do it because their horns act as a natural focus but other races need a wand or staff to channle magic.

I think Twilight's first line in the trailer pretty much sums up everyones feelings about this movie. Perhaps Pinkie's line does as well.
