Minor details I would have changed from Equestria Girls

I loved the movie although I feel it should've been more organized in plot. These are my ideas of what would made it better...

-Canterlot High should be Equestria High (Ponyville characters in Canterlot school?!)

-The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Snail, Snips, Diamond Tiara, etc should of been attending middle school or Equestria Middle School

-Big Mac should of been a teacher or a gym coach so he can be the same age as Cheerilee or it would just be weird since its cannon they might like each other 

-The other Twilight should be in Canterlot high (expensive school) and in the next movie transfer 

-Celestia should of been mayor of the town Equestria

-Principal can be Luna or Cadence

-Snips and Snails not being Sunset Shimmers henchmen since they are already Trixie's

-Sunset Shimmer's friends are Glida and Lightning Dust and henchmen are Flim and Flam

-Flash Sentry having a conversation with Sunset and show how much he dislikes what she has become.

it's no secret that EG could have a better plot, many of the things you wrote here could have been pretty good additions to the movie

Also, a better plot concerning the acquirement of the crown.

We know that the movie should have had a better plot than the final product, but it is what it is.

If it had those elements added into the plot, the story would've been a lot stronger than it is with the final movie.

 

There are serious plot holes in the film leaving us loss and confused about the whole thing. I'm hoping for a stronger story with those elements in there when it's sequel comes out.

I think you have some very well made ideas here! I like them! ^^

 

However, I do have to speak up on one of them, if you don't mind. ^^

 

Cadence or Luna being the principle? I dunno, Luna is technically the same rank as Celestia in an equal partnership ruling over Equestria.

 

Maybe Mayor Mare would be a better fit for Equestria High's principal? It would kind of tie in with the direction you're going! ^^

 

I love all your other ideas, though! ^^

Instead of saying that the only change I'd make to EG is change it from "existent" to "no-existent", (like I usually do) I'll say something constructive: I'd make it happen in Equestria with ponies. I could even live with shoehorning the Mane Six into going to high school.

It's suppose to be an alternate reality. I think the roles of known pony characters could have been shuffled around better with more creative imagination. For example, Celestia and Luna are duo singers known as the Princesses of Day and Night.

 

Twilight Sparkle and Spike should have had more focus on exploring a new world and learning about it. "Nightmare Before Christmas" Rather than all that Fall Formal and high school drama stuff.

 

Twilight Sparkle should have met a horse in that world and have an awkward interaction with it.

 

If the EG followed the same formula of morality like FIM, then it would become similar to WITCH comic series.
