I've bumped into something - I'll need to place BOSS HP BAR somewhere, but the current HUD gave me a bad time organizing the layout.
Sooooo yeah, I've been thonking on the HUD again, because why not.
For a reference, this is how it looked like so far:
I was trying to put it somewhere to the right, but the screen was getting somewhat clogged up.
...So I've tried to place is somewhere at the bottom - the spells were on my way.

As the title pun suggests, this week I've been working pretty much exclusively on drawing hair detail in manes and tails. I've had. . . well, mostly failures. But I had one success. Sure it doesn't look fantastic, but considering how hard hair is and I've only just started with it, I'm really really happy with it. I think a few of you have seen this one already, but let's see it again anyway.
This was a very typical Twilight freaks out about something episode (aka twilighting), pairing with Spike, and her going crazy trying to find answers. It was an episode that had a good pace, good writing, and an overall a good episode.
My grade: B
Hey. Y'know what really grinds my gears? Pedestrians that are f*cking oblivious to traffic. Y'know, people that just cross the street and walk in front of cars without checking or looking up. Often times they're fixated on their phones, but sometimes they don't even have a phone and they're just staring at the ground or something. What the f*ck is wrong with you?! Do you want to die?? Is that it?? Is this a suicide attempt??

Today Sparkle's Seven is Season 9's greatest episode. Everything fell into place and was written so, so well. But writing just this much only really undercuts the mastery of its storytelling and humor.
Rather than doing simply a breakdown of the episode in a strength/weakness structure or a long essay, I'll break down specific points, ala my Movie review and Zeppelin analysis.

Not only did Spike exploit a sibling rivalry in a sibling rivalry, but he created it in the first place. Spike asked Thorax to impersonate Celestia while she was on important business and instructed him to deliberately brush off all of Luna's security advice to make her susceptible to allying with him for the betrayal.

For shows in the past each episode would be a stand alone story and there was little or no development. The new She Ra has interesting characters and a story line that keeps you coming back. Y'know what really grinds my grears? When fountain drink machines sputter and spew out a bunch of foam. One of my first entries was about digital drink machines. Now I return to complain about drink machines again. I frickin' hate it when you're filling your soda, and part-way through, the machine coughs and sputters and vomits out some foam or clear liquid with no syrup. You can't just shrug it off and keep filling. It ruins the whole mixture. The entire soda will taste bitter.

It's been a couple weeks since my last entry, but that's because it took almost two weeks to finish my latest drawing. 13 days from start to finish to be exact. I don't know if I'm getting all that much better or if it's just the sheer amount of time I spent on it, but I'm pretty happy with how this piece came out. Hello again! My latest order of Perler Beads arrived a few days ago, so I've been busy making a bunch more crafts to add to my collection. No pony stuff this time, sadly, but I hope to change that pretty soon.
To start, I made the box-art legendary for Pokemon Sun, Solgaleo, and a Pokeball stand to go along with it.

One of my biggest peeves in reviewing is giving something a calculated score, because it's very difficult if not impossible to reduce the quality to such a mark. Plus, whenever many people see a score, they tend to not read the review at all and rely on the score/grade itself as proof for purchase.
Nonetheless, if I were to grade the following based on the following items below, they would be the followings below the first rule. The grades are respective and separated to the following categ
First of all, it was a brilliant move to have the voice actors pitch ideas for this episode. I loved much of the episode, and twilight twilighting like she always does. It was overall a great episode for the 200th episode, and at the same time very funny. I loved every second of it.
My grade: A+
