Starting development on things I can actually show off with visuals! Tilemaps recovered from oblivion, and steps towards an explorable overworld, this time made with a lot more common sense and cleanliness. Catch details on all that and more in this month's DevLog for the prototype of Battle Gem Ponies! (Get on the Patreon Hype Train for Exclusive Posts about the making, and remaking, of the game!)
It's no secret that I'm a self-proclaimed fashionista. I love fashion, and I love making and wearing spectacular, interesting, and outrageous things, as well as pushing the boundaries of gender norms. Clothing is one of the most fun, creative, and personal ways that we can express ourselves. Some time ago, I was wearing a burgundy velvet coat while I was out and about. Actually, that coat was one of my tamest outfits, and not something I made myself. In fact, it was a replica of Aragorn's c
Grammar is mad important and u need 2 tak it srsly cuz no1 wants 2 reed a story when it looks like dis. We’ve talked about plot lines, we’ve talked about characterization, and we have talked about Writers Block. Now we should talk about the thing everyone loves to make fun of, and that’s grammar. You could have a great idea for a plot, but it means nothing if you can not convey it properly. If the plot is the life of everything you’re doing, the grammar is the frame work.
It should not hur
There are some things that I really just can't wrap my head around. Math, specifically. I hate Math. I have a Math-learning disability (I'm being serious, it's been proven by my doctor).
Maybe that's why, and I'm not sure... maybe that disability is why I've been so down on myself lately. I keep referring to myself as being "stupid" or "a failure." It started out as a joke, but lately I do believe what I've been saying. I really do feel like a failure, that I'm not smart enough for the wo
Hallo everypony!
Welcome to my first ever blog entry!
What better way to start a blog than a fun little leisure logic quiz?
Here's the question:
"You want to go for a sleep. This image shows the map of your bedroom,"
"You want to sleep lights off. But you are scared of the dark. How can you switch off all the ceiling lights using the light switch without any assistance and sleep on your bed before your room gets dark?"
Answer:
Hey. So this one is probably going to ruffle a few feathers, rattle a few cages, frazzle a few manes, steam a few hams, refry a few beans. Don't take it too seriously, k?
Y'know what really grinds my gears? When people refer to the heart as if it knows and feels things. Y'know, they say "heart" when they really mean "brain". This is just leftovers from a time when we actually thought that the heart was the emotion center. We obviously know this isn't true. I don't need to explain any

Rainbow Roadtrip took quite sometime before the plot actually began to move. Until Mayor Skies sung about Hope Hollow's descent into despair, it spent a great deal of time showing what went on inside that "luxury resort," the ponies' behavior, and the mayor's façade when leading the tour. But all of this took about one-third of the 60-minute runtime. That's way too long, and the lack of humor makes this plot develop bland and way too simple.

Sometimes, a single scene of FIM or EQG can completely ruin a character for me. This is something that is not just MLP, but is also affliction to other things and movies like Toy Story or Pokemon. The reason it can take as little as one piece of dialogue to completely ruin a character for me is because of a thing called character bias. Character bias is when you like a character so much that you start to base other favorites or least favorite characters around things they have said or done to
So, a while back I was chatting with my friend and he mentioned how, out of over 800 Pokemon, not one of them was Electric/Fighting type. Curious, I looked it up and found that there were in fact 24 type combinations that had never been used before (excluding ones only used by Legendaries and Mega Evolutions.) Then I thought, "What would Pokemon with those typings be like?" and thus this simple, self-imposed creative challenge was started, where I try my best to come up with original Pokemon usi
This won't be like my typical reviews to be honest. Rainbow Roadtrip was a pretty good special for the show. Loved that they used the artstyle of the movie (Supposedly, this was supposed to be the sequel of the MLP movie from 2 years ago). I really enjoyed the build up, and the romance storyline. It was overall a good way to send us fans off into the US summer haitus (unless you watch the chinese airing of the next episode).
This is a complete route drive with our longest tram route in the city. It goes for 45 minutes and pretty much stops at almost all important stations in my city.
Go to 13:35 if you wanna see where i normally enter the tram and also go out when i am going home.
Have fun watching.
It's a ubiquitous sentiment that love should always be unconditional, but I have never believed this to be true. Moreover, I believe that love is always conditional, whether we admit it or not. Contrary to what is sounds like, this is actually a good thing.
Love always has certain, basic conditions, mostly being that there is still something recognizable to you in the person you love. If a person changes so vastly that there is nothing left of the person you knew and loved, then it would
Hey. Y'know what really grinds my gears? So, you ever been in class in high school, and the bell rings, but the teacher keeps the whole class after because of a couple of unruly students who were misbehaving? Oh, and then they give you the ol' "the bell doesn't dismiss you; I do!" bullsh*t. Isn't that cute? So, it should go without saying that punishing innocents for the crimes of others is by definition one of the most unjust things you could possibly do. But that aside for the moment, do

Between Dark and Dawn marks the next chapter for the goal from the premiere: Celestia and Luna will retire, so the RM7 will take their place when they're ready. Capping the first half with this episode fits with the arc to a T, especially with the sprinkling of continuity throughout the season thus far. The fact that Gail Simone, one of the best comic writers, was invited to write the first Royal Sister episode of the show fits the grand nature of what S9 has felt for the past several episodes.
