Off to a slow start but settled into a decent development routine at last. Plus, I've got heckling coworkers now to poke & prod me on a daily basis about getting this game done. Also, a new Pokemon game was announced, and it looks like its following the same formula I'm getting tired of, leading me to feel more fired up than ever to deliver my take on the elemental turn-based RPG system. If you want to know exactly what's on my dev plate going forward, then you'll like the production d
What's up, everypony? Woohoo here with another edition of Musical Manslaughter, because you can't spell 'slaughter' without 'laughter' and these songs are jokes.
Since I started MMS over a year and a half ago, I ripped apart quite a few types of songs. I've shredded multiple pop songs, a beloved folk song, a reviled metal song, two Christmas songs, a ballad, and even ranted on the things I hate about music in general. I try not to be some other music reviewers where they constantly rant on
Hey. Y'know what really grinds my gears? Incoherence online.
Despite having extreme social anxiety irl, I've always prided myself on my powers of articulation, and that includes in cyberspace. I do my best to communicate clearly, but everywhere I go online, people talk with such broken, fragmented slang that much of time I have no frigging clue what they're trying to say. I'll just state for the record that I love slang, be it internet-specific abbreviations, or general slang, but I alw
I know that this isn’t MLP related but it’s important to note about how long I’ve been a Sonic fan and why Sonic himself is my favorite character of all time and is personally my idol.
It all started in 2008, I was 10-11 years old I think and I went into a game store with my mom because she told me I could pick out a game because of a lot of very good things that I did beforehand. I saw Sonic Unleashed for PS2, which at the time was the latest Sonic game, and I told my mom that I wanted tha

The fourth, and last installment to the AJBS movie is, now, officially and fully released, thus ending a long arc, and forging ahead. The conclusive battle with Zagreus is nigh, and the fate of the world, as always, hangs truly in the balance. And what of Twilight and friends? Will Stardust ever see them again? Will amends ever be made? Now, is the time, finally to know. Enjoy!

This past Magfest certainly was an adventure! Supplies were gathered, 2 friends volunteered to help, and we ran the biggest Battle Gem Ponies booth yet. And for 4 days straight! I thought some folks out there would like to see what that adventure was like so catch a write-up on this indie dev experience on the Yotes Blog... -->
I have only seen 7 episodes so far, but I had to write this scene. I hope you like it.

The transport craft’s engines whined as Adora pushed the throttle forward. There was a thump on the roof as Catra landed on it, having jumped from the dock. She wasn’t about to let Adora get away from her. Catra opened the top hatch and jumped inside, landing on her fe
Well... for past few weeks I was struggling with memories of some troubling events in my life. No matter what I did I was unable to stop thinking about them and this almost drove me insane. I was unable to forget about them and more I try to resist more frequently they come.
Until I finally realized the root of my problem. Somehow instead of forgetting about that events my mind was trying to convince myself to find something positive about those memories, maybe to make them less daunting o
I'm a little bit sad right now, so I thought I'd cheer myself up by sharing a story from my high school days.
It was about autumn during my senior year of high school, and me and my best friend were talking about stuff we could do after school. My friend suggested: "Hey! Our school has an anime club! We should go!" and then I said: "Okay, cool! I love anime!" the next day right after school, we went to the room that they were hosting the club in, (which if you must know was the art room) an

It's truly amazing. I've been on this forum for over 4 years now and i have seen quite alot here, from the good to the bad times. I remember when i came here at the beginning of 2015 and i was kind of in a bad place in my life, being depressed and having not alot of energy for anything in my life. I know for some it might be a surprise, but i never wanted to bother anyone at that time with my constant struggles.
But alot of you still helped me in another way and some of you still remind me
The third installment of the four-part movie has been officially released! Stardust returns to Equestria, with some new accompaniment along the way. And even old friends waiting for them back home. And let's not forget Infinity War references; lots and lots of them! But good wouldn't equal the bad, as Hell starts reigning over Equestria; imbalance is at hand, and Zagreus was waiting. If Stardust wasn't already home, only perhaps the Mane Six could have stopped him.
But where were those frie
So, in returning to the site after so long, I've decided I'm going to try something I started on another forum - reviewing music. Music has been a passion of mine for several years, so it makes sense that I take a look at various albums and give my overall thoughts on them. And with that out of the way, let's get into how each individual entry will be organized.
Intro - Where I give a bit of history on the album/band in question.
Information - Album name, date released, record
Hey. This is a preemptive Grind My Gears. (For all the good it will do.)
Y'know what's really gonna grind my gears? With S9 being the confirmed end of FIM, I just know that the whole year will be absolutely filled with people saying things like, "I can't believe it's all going to end! The ride is over! The fandom's over! It's all gone! The past nine years, gone! No more Pony! That's it, everyone! Say your goodbyes! It's been fun; so long!" and such and such.

In this day and age, it’s becoming rarer and rarer for a form of media, especially television, to have a definitive and conclusive finale. Many will either be left to sprawl endlessly until it becomes little more than a shadow of its former self or unceremoniously canceled in the middle of the story and forced to rush the endings.
So, it is with an odd mix of sadness and relief that it’s been finally confirmed that Season 9 of Friendship Is Magic will be the final season. While I will cert
With season 9 being its last, I could give my thoughts on it ending, but I did so already. Instead, I want to reflect on what the show has done. Over the years, FIM has had moments where many, myself including, declare whether the show jumped the shark or not. For those who don't know, "jumping the shark" is the moment that indicates its peak has passed and won't return to form again. Examples are located here and here.
Of course, when something jumps the shark is subjective. What might be
Well I've been in the processes of trying to make this forum-appropriate (Still a couple things that may be, well, iffy) and refining some of the details in my head for a while, but here's a general idea. Really, I forgot to post it a couple of weeks ago, so it never came out. Also, there's still no art because I'm no artist.
