  1. I'm pretty insecure, and not very ambitious after my ambition was killed badly a long time back when I decided to settle for more humble goals. I regard myself as very intelligent, but only in terms of being emotionally cool-headed...most of the time. I have a wide breadth of knowledge but not where it counts, and I know for a fact my IQ is in the average range. I'm nervous as hell in huge crowds, even huge forums like this place make me rather uneasy which is why I don't tend to post much. I get very emotional about what happens with friends, but not when I myself am with them. I tend to beat myself up a lot for stupid small mistakes way more than I do for larger errors. I always see myself as being inferior to other people. Not just because of all my problems but just for what's ended up in my head over the years as well as my crippling fear of being TOO alone and apart from both friends and family. It helps me retain my humility, as well as allow myself to be more supportive and more charitable to others who deserve help more than me. I'm not depressed, I just have low standards for myself, so I'm not gonna give a score ._. But then, the worst judge of your own character is you yourself since you're already biased either way. Other people have a more unbiased opinion so a better estimate would be from...other people. I...HOPE I'm nice? I try to be nice, I want to be nice definitely even if it's difficult sometimes to be emotional without it being exhausting. ...I say way too much to say too little. Gyoro?! Ururun?! Is that you!!??
  2. It's interesting to note a lot of bronies are either still furries or "ex-furries" such as a few friends I know, due to disillusionment from the furry fandom taking some rather odd turns. Or rather the main areas of the furry fandom taking some odd turns. I'm not gonna give out any opinions about it because I'm uninformed, but I will say that my experiences with the furry fandom were mixed. There's been good, and there's been bad. What matters is how we deal with it, the drama and the whiners within the fandom and the haters outside of it. Same as we are handling it in the brony fandom (hopefully).
  3. OKAY I got it all fixed now, thanks so much for the help everypony, your suggestions all helped me out good to figure it out :3
  4. Seriously, they are REALLY unhelpful, I do not get that at all : so uh, you know anyone else who might be able to help or fix these tech issues? Or anything else?
  5. Tell ya what I'll try it again and do exactly what you said, maybe I like double-clicked by accident or something. Thanks for replying though! Okay so I did what you said, and it actually DID do what you said it would...problem is it would still go ahead and add EVERYTHING else into the iPod too, winamp playlists and all. Thanks for the help though ^ ^ I really hope someone could help me on why my iPod Classic just refuses to share the same USB ports as my external hard drive though <.<
  6. Well, when I tried to do that, iTunes tried to add EVERYTHING in the folder to the iTunes, which is NOT what I want it to do, I just wanted to show it WHERE the folder was, so it can all go "OH, there's where all the stuff is, okay I'll find them all again ktxhbai". Even playlists I made on winamp and I was like "NOOOOOO that's stupid DX"
  7. Thank you for clearing up my double-thread post, and have a great time in Quebec City! :D

No worries. Just finished packing now actually. Gotta be get up by 4:30AM tomorrow.

  8. First off, I want to say thank you SO MUCH to everypony here who wished me happy birthday, I felt so touched by such a warmth from this community! <3 I love you all. --------- Secondly, I need some help with this iPod Classic I got on my birthday which I asked for, because my iPod Nano as awesome as it is, is just too full now. So, after an hour of struggling with it I finally find out what stopped my iPod Classic from linking up to my PC. It seems that my iPod Classic REALLY hates my external hard drive, a lovely 465GB piece where I back up all my important stuff (stories, music, ponies etc), and for some reason, whenever my external hard drive is plugged in, my iPod Classic will just pretend to not exist on the PC and be all huffy. The big problem here is that ALL my music is on my external hard drive. But why not just move all of it to the main PC drive you ask? Well I did, but now I got the NEW problem of having to find and locate every single missing file that exists on my iTunes already. You know on iTunes when a missing file gets that ! on it? Yeah, there's like 1141 songs of that. So I need some help with either problem. EITHER help me find a way for my iPod Classic to "get along" with my external hard drive and not cancel out whenever both are plugged in. OR help me find out how to auto-locate the 1141 songs in the duplicate folder I made of all my music on the main PC drive. I SOMEHOW managed to make the iPod Nano auto-locate every song before when it asked me and I just pointed it to the right folder and it just searched everywhere in it and found them all, but I dunno HOW that even happened despite it being IMMENSELY helpful. Sooooooo yeah. Can anyone help me out here? If not, no worries, but it'd save me some hassle because Apple are really not helpful on their support site unless it's an obvious fault ^ ^;
  9. Happy birthday, fellow birthdayer! X3

  10. Happy birthday, fellow birthdayer! :3

  11. Happy birthday, fellow birthdayer! :D

  13. Never played it sadly. DID however read a guide for it in a magazine and was kinda weirded out because it had no pictures, so it made me think it was some kind of DOOM rip-off where you fought giant spiders. Then I saw a vid and was like "huh this is alright actually-HOLY SHMUCKS THIS SOUNDTRACK ROCKS!" Awwwwww D: I hope you give love to that ol' C64, that thing is a legend <3 Oldest thing I have is a NES. Oldest thing I PLAYED was a Pong machine at a videogame convention. ...I beat my dad 10-2 :3
  14. Well this isn't GIRLY per se but I still watch preschool shows like Nick Jr. because it soothes me on a dull day. Also because Peppa Pig can be surprisingly funny sometimes << Dora I watch to make fun of because it's hilarious if you imagine the mariachi band is something everyone sees but they never tell you because they want you to think that you're freaking mental.

I haven't read THAT edition of Lovecraft's works, but I do own like four different compilations of his work. Ever since Eternal Darkness I became a huge fan of his stuff, and he just hooked me with his stuff. I do understand how not everyone can get into them though, he does have a VERY winding narrative style, like how he went on for a page and a half in At The Mountains of Madness just to tell you it was a cold wind in Antarctica. But DAMN did I feel chilly after reading it, I'm a real sucker for long descriptive stuff like Lovecraft and Shelley tend to do. But, like I said, not for everyone, which is cool :3
  16. Well since you all opened this up, time I get to open up with fangushing about another show I loved. So, maybe most of you have never heard of a show called The Animals of Farthing Wood. I'll just let Cracked.com truncate it for ya: Now, this show was my all time favourite as a kid. I LOVED this show to pieces and I still do. The animation isn't amazing, the soundtrack is not varied, but it has a great script... and terrifyingly dark moments. So one particular example that I, Cracked, and any fan of this show will first tell you about, is the Butcher Bird. So there's an episode where the field mice of the group have a darling group of little babies, all cute and everything. They decide to leave the journey because, well, baybehs. One episode later, this happens to them. Yeah...that's all the baby field mice. I'd like to point out this bird is REAL and yes this is exactly what it does in nature. This isn't even the end of the terror! In the entire first season of Animals of Farthing Wood, 10 of the original party are killed. Five of them were children. Now I may love this show, and it may have been the biggest influence of my life next to videogames, and it may have taught me everything about nature, love, hatred, jealousy, bigotry, mankind and road safety...this show was dark. /Fangush.
  17. Years ago, QWOP failed to reach the Olympic athletics Now, we have CLOP...who can't even reach the Olympic Equestrian. Hilarious XD
  18. Oh dammit I KNEW I forgot something in my overdramatic novelisation of a glitch that ascended into fanon! DAMN YOU LORD THEORETICAL! *shakes fiiiiiiiist* But yeah I actually find the whole thing with Missingno to be fascinating stuff. The Kangaskhan/Cubone stuff DOES make sense since one of the lost data pieces was about an evolutional state involving Marowak, Cubone and/or Kangaskhan. And honestly the two are quite similar enough for this to have been possible so...yeah. Personally I always believed in my headcanon (or whatever you wanna call it), that Missingno is the embodiment of Mother Marowak's anguish and suffering from her family's death, at the hands of Team Rocket. I mean there's even a ghost of her and everything! So maybe Missingno was her children or even herself moving away from the Tower. Seriously, that massacre was messed up yo.
  19. Uh...there is one movie that absolutely terrifies me and I...I know it's not THE scariest movie but the concept just TERRIFIES me. I...I'm really scared of the Final Destination movies. ALL of them. I know I know you guys'll go "but it's so silly, it's so over the top!" I don't care! I'm just TERRIFIED of the idea that Death has a plan for everyone and everyone's fated to die at a certain time! And MAN does he get pissed when that don't work. I wouldn't be so scared if I hadn't had some uh...pretty close near-death experiences that I honestly would put down to being a little TOO lucky so it basically preys on my superstitious paranoia about fate and such.
  20. I totally love and fear the fact that Nintendo REALLY went and put that little horrible easter egg in there, almost as if they were making the Pokémon Islands a strange parallel to our world...if that was their intention, but if it's NOT then ho hum. But honestly, there's one conspiracy theory I can't believe Nintendo DON'T fuel more fire for because it would be wonderfully fun. You all know of...it. That thing that can only be found in Red/Blue/Yellow. The unholy abomination whose entire world is nothing but a glitched abscess of fear and agony. I speak of course...about The Missingno. Legends say this creature has many forms, but the classical L-block-style form is its most known variant. There are several kinds of Missingno, but this one is the most famous. What IS it? Where did it come from? What does it represent? Most folks will tell you that it was simply the random mesh of data stuffed into the game after Nintendo's ideas to include more than 151 Pokemon were scrapped for the game. That it is simply nothing more than an error handler for the game's developers whenever the game tries to access a nonexistent Pokémon. But I say to you that this is something more, something far worse and destructive than just an error handle. I say to you that this abomination is nothing short of the Apokélypse. All we know of it is that its type is Bird/Normal, but in Yellow it is Normal/999 (a type that does not even EXIST), that it stands with a shadow over you at 10 feet tall, and weighs a colossal 3507 pounds of infernal abyss. They say it may appear at Cinnabar Island or even upon the Seafoam Islands, washed ashore within the tumultuous depths of fury and sorrow. An old man is said to be the key to it all, wise but mysterious within Viridian City. No one knows he is, or what he truly entails, but they say that if you allow him to show you the ways of the Pokéball, and fly to Cinnabar Island or Fuchsia City swiftly...then it shall appear upon the beaches of the islands. All we know of this terror, is that very few ever live to tell the tale, and even then, even fewer manage to escape its grasp without them or their Pokémon becoming scarred forever by the strangest marks. Marks of numbers. Numbers that make no sense.
  21. As much as I love every kind of musical decade for every single reason (the 50s had motown, the 60s had early rock, the 70s classic rock, the 90s had trance), I am a real sucker for the 80s. I mean don't get me wrong, I love EVERY musical decade and wish there was an all of the above, but if I had to pick one, it would be the 80s. Because I am a total sucker for the 80s synth sound, the early electronic from bands like Kraftwerk, and of course the birth of videogame music back when it wasn't actual studio recordings.
  22. Well it IS a parody of the whole high-school Americana, Suda51 loves that stuff. I will admit, I'd only be getting the game because of No More Heroes style gameplay and Tara Strong, nothing else XD Besides, if you REALLY wanna see Tara Strong get badass in a game, look at No More Heroes 2 when she's Cloe Walsh or Margaret Moonlight (where she uses her Twilight voice at least 4 years before MLP). As for her most different role that I ever seen...well there's another Suda51 game where Tara Strong is VERY unlike her usual roles. KAEDE Smith from Killer7. She doesn't talk much but MAN is she one suicidal bitch.
  23. So my ex-boyfriend asked me this last night. He's been watching some episode of MLP with his now-brony girlfriend. Now he's totally cool with MLP and he thinks it's a good show, but he has no intentions on becoming a brony. I'm okay with this :3 BUT...he did pose me a very interesting question to me last night. "Why do some ponies like Rarity and Fluttershy have several of the same thing for their cutie marks, but those like Twilight and Big Mac have one single HUGE thing for their cutie mark?" I admit, I...actually didn't know how to answer that. My best explanation was that it's a leftover from previous generations, such as Fluttershy's cutie mark being from Posey's. But I'd love if anyone here could give a better explaination for me to tell him. Any takers?
  24. That....sounds pretty legit actually! I like that idea a lot << it makes sense since there are many names and many variations unto them, plus Canterlot being the important place it is WOULD withhold a registry of everypony who exists in the kingdom. Plus they would probably have a census too.I'm going to assume that at birth, a pony is registered into the town's register rather like how people do with churches.
  25. I actually sort of agree to this. People have been rather mystified by what Magic actually MEANS in the demographic of elements. Five of them are emotions, but what IS Magic?I personally believe that Magic represents faith. Faith and belief in your friends. That is why Friendship is Magic. Also, lot of loyalty votes going on for Spike. It's confirmed. Spike is Rainbow Dash. -------------- As for what I think, I'm actually going to say Loyalty as well. Despite that whole joke of him as Rainbow Dash, he DOES fit the element of Loyalty best. He does have moments of generosity, but they are fleeting and he has his dragon nature to fight against. Laughter fits too but he's quite a childish prankster and tends to get rather moody. Honesty certainly not. He TRIES to lie badly and avoid things and cover up bad things he's done. But then if he feels a friend is suffering, he won't lie on their behalf too often. Plus Pinkie Pie is scary when interrogating. Kindness certainly not, he can be quite bratty and the stuff he pulled in Owl's Well That Ends Well was definitely not kind. Magic he could fit quite well with! Not only is he very close to Twilight and Celestia, but it's practically imbued within him, even if he knows only one specific form of magic like Rarity does. But still, pretty interesting! I think it's because Spike is so young and hasn't really found his solid personality trait as of yet, rather like the CMC, that might make him interestingly diverse to an extent.
