  1. Yeah, we got what is called 'the Kitchen Sink' plug-in that says it has the 'who's posted in this topic stats' thing in it along with a bunch of other things, but I can't find the flag in the settings to turn that on. So I don't think it's actually in there. And the plug-in @Jeric found is questionable since it hasn't been upgraded as he said. Part of the reason the old one was incorrect was that the site didn't redo the statistics whenever posts were moved or hidden. I think that's been fixed in 4.0... but again, we don't have a plug-in to display the data. I'll put it on the development list for when we get a developer again. The post number in a thread... I'll see what I can find. It might be buried in the settings that I have access to.

    Wrong link.

*blink* *blink* Checking.... Huh. It's not technically a circular reference. It's an HTML anchor that is empty. Basically the link has no destination. Weird. I wonder how that happened. Should be fixed now.
  3. Yeah, I believe that was a custom plug-in on the old forum that doesn't have an updated version for the new forum. And in looking it up, now I know why there isn't an updated version. They added that feature to the native codebase, but had it off as a default. I'm re-enabling it now. Give it a bit of time to show up as I have to crunch through all the user group permissions to add it to the relevant ones.
  4. Moving as this is more a show discussion-type topic. It's unlikely that Starlight will be alicorinated any time soon. The whole reason Starlight was added to the regular cast was to fill the story-niche that Twilight left empty when she was alicorinated. Unless it's a dictate from Hasbro, the writers would be rather silly to put themselves in that corner again.

    general questions Username change

Normally that's not something we can help with, but given the nature of the actual problem send a support ticket to support@mlpforums.com and we'll send it on to someone who *might* be able to help.
  6. Moving this to 'Merchandise', as that seems more appropriate, I think. As for getting plushies, it depends on where you are. In my area some Safeway grocery stores have small TY/Beanie Baby MLP plushies in a rotating rack mixed in with other Beanie Babies. And Rite Aid drug stores, for that matter. The Rite Aid even has a broader selection as the Safeway's tend to only have the Mane6, while the Rite Aid also has Celestia, Luna, and Cadance.
  7. Maybe? I think I've done it. Kinda odd, as they weren't showing up for me in the first place, so I'm not entirely sure what I did actually helped or not.
  8. I dare you to find documentation for this feature on Invision Power Board's site, because it keeps bringing you back to their own Leaderboard on their forums. As @Jeric said, it seems to be constantly recalculated along with all the other statistics as part of the search indexing. In addition, if you have any content hidden, it seems to get recalculated as well. So if you had a post that was part of a thread that got removed, it will likely drop now, where it wouldn't have under the old IP.B 3 software. That and it really needs to stop announcing winners on days that haven't finished yet.
  9. The animals were called 'buffalo' in the US over a hundred years before they were renamed 'bison' to keep them distinct from the African/Asian buffalo. There's a reason there's a score of places in the States called 'Buffalo', but none that I know of named 'Bison'. There's a lot of animals in North America that got named 'wrong' because the people naming things didn't know or didn't care about 'proper' taxonomy. The American Robin, for example, is actually part of the thrush family while the European Robin is a flycatcher. The American Buzzard is part of the condor family, while the European Buzzard is a large family of birds closely related to eagles and hawks. Both are also called Vultures as well.
  10. This was requested: an official thread for sharing your tips and tricks for cleaning, repairing, and other maintenance on your Pony Merch. Please be as specific as possible with your advice, as toys and figures might be made of different types of plastic or materials depending on lots of things like year of manufacture and the like, leading to them reacting quite oddly to various chemical cleaners. The last thing we want is to accidentally melt someone’s vintage figure.
  11. It's back! @Lavo got the plug-in working again.
  12. Yeah, this is a weird glitch in the templates. I've put it on the list of things for the new MLPF Developer Lead to look at when they can. I think I know what changed, but the template editing tools in the new version of IP.B doesn't have a working search function, so I can't find the actual template it's hidden in myself.
  13. Interesting thought. I hadn't drawn the connection between them, as I'm not quite as familiar with the toy line as I was with the various cartoons. I hope we do see the Saddle Arabians again. But then I also hope to eventually find out where Maretopia and Mustangia are as well... I wouldn't mind a season of 'World Tour' adventures.
  14. As I understand it, the counter is a custom plug-in. So it's not in the templates I have access to edit. I can't even turn the stupid thing off. We have to wait for Poniverse to get a developer assigned to MLPF so they can look into updating the plug-in. Personally, I'd move it down to the footer next to the 'Insert other media' button, if I was given a choice.
  15. Fudge. Yeah, that's the full-size editor. It's you being zoomed in that has fixed it for you. In my resolution it's still broken. Darn it. So close.
  16. Okay, it doesn't seem to have fixed that issue for me... I'm getting the full 'large' size editor with all the buttons. And it's not gone to two lines. Are you in mobile, so you have a smaller screen? I'm tempted to add *all* the buttons to the large size editor just to see if it will go to a second line there too. If you can't fix the problem *bypass it*.
  17. Because of the question, this didn't seem like a Welcome Topic so much as a discussion topic. So moving it.
  18. Moved as this really isn't a 'Past Generations' topic.

  20. If you meant tablet, then it just inherits the settings from the size, that the tablet allows do display, which is the 'small' one, in most cases. Nah, I mean when I copied and pasted from a spreadsheet, it automatically converted it to HTML tables. Which is not something you can do through the editor directly. It's just a weirdness. Point. And also point. Okay, none of those. And point again. We'll I'll fiddle. Hopefully someone with various screen sizes will be able to tell me if it's too much.
  21. Okay, here's a list of all the buttons I have access to via the UI editor and which 'size' screen they are valid for: Large Screen Medium Screen Small Screen Bold X X X Italic X X X Underline X X X Strikeout X Subscript Superscript Text Color X Highlight Color Text Size X Font Align Left X Center X Align Right X Justify Bulleted List X X Numbered List X X Decrease Indent X Increase Indent X Remove Formatting X X X Insert Link X X X Quote X X Spoiler X X X Code X Emote X X X Cut Copy Paste Undo Redo Preview X X X Page The heck? There's a table format? That's not in the list of options... Apparently you can copy stuff from a spreadsheet and it will convert it, even though the editor doesn't have controls for those particular formats. Huh. In any case; I don't know what 'Page' does in this context. And there is a 'Source' button that will show your post in HTML format, but access to that is granted through a different process and can get a lot twitchier security-wise as @Rikifive already mentioned. I'm thinking putting 'Center' on all three screen sizes, and removing 'Code' from the large screen as I don't think it gets any real use here. Cut, Copy, Paste, and Undo seem reasonable to add to the large screen unless someone has a good reason not to? Any other suggestions for this?
  22. I might be able to do that.... looking... Ha! Yes, there's a UI in the admin tools for the editor buttons... I can only put on buttons that they've already coded, but there are quite a few there that aren't currently visible. Okay, the remove format button looks like an underlined italic capital T with a little x next to it. Not sure that's intuitively obvious, but oh well, at least it's there.
