  1. However, if the "Bro" in "Brony" has a different meaning than it is easily assumed that it's the same for "Bronette".
  2. Hard to say right now, but I have a pretty bad headache that won't go away. D:
  3. We need a topic to say what we give thanks for on this day, don't you think? I'm thankful for my family and being able to grow up in the great environment I was. My family may not be perfect, but they do care a great deal for me. They have provided me with my needs and so much more, and still do to this day. I'm thankful for my dogs - who I consider a part of my family. They bring a smile to me everyday. I wasn't a dog person for the longest time, but now I couldn't be without. I'm thankful for being alive. Being young does not make us invincible. I'm thankful for my friends. Some of them have been really great to me. I'm thankful for my grandparents and their decision to buy me my bassoon. It may just seem like an instrument - an object, but it has been so much more. I wouldn't be a Music Major today without it. I would have just given up on music and I wouldn't have any goals or anything to achieve in my life, I would be aimless. Lastly, ponies. You have to be thankful for ponies. =P So what do you all want to give thanks for?
  4. Funny, if I would expect to be a combination of Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash more than I would be Rarity. But that's crazy. It shows I'm clearly Pinkie Pie. =P
  5. Artists: Genres (Tags): That's interesting because it uses popular tags for what I listen to and not the way I actually tagged them but it's still pretty accurate.
  6. I have quite a few series of which I really like their music. I'll list them and a few favorites. The Legend of Zelda: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=7P2HNic7JjI (Majora's Mask) (A Link To The Past) Kingdom Hearts: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyAl7WOM8FQ (Kingdom Hearts II)Traverse Town (RE: Chain of Memories version) Golden Sun: Lemurian Ruins (The Lost Age) Vale Venus Lighthouse There are many other series that I love the music from but this is what I'll post for now. =P

    movies/tv Toonami

All I ever watched through on Toonami was Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Toonami also 'introduced' me to One Piece, but I didn't care much about it back then. Of course, it was the 4Kids dub. I didn't see anything wrong with it back then and I only saw a couple of episodes. I watched through the real One Piece not too long after (a year, maybe?) right before FUNimation got the license and then when One Piece came back on Toonami with FUNimation's dub I watched it. When One Piece was taken from Toonami after that, the program block was dead to me. So really I don't miss it all of that much, and if it came back it should only come back to house One Piece because it is the only one of the big Shonen that hasn't found a home on TV since the end of Toonami. (which is sad considering how much better it is compared to the other two that are on TV =/)
  8. The cartoons I enjoyed the most when I grew up were Cartoon Cartoons. I actually didn't get Cartoon Network until around late 4th Grade. It was one channel out too far for our reception. I could kind of watch it before then but not really. So I actually grew up with Nicktoons but I really think that Cartoon Cartoons were better. The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Courage The Cowardly Dog etc. You can't beat those! I also really enjoyed Ed, Edd and Eddy, but these days I don't really "get" it anymore. The rest of them I could probably watch just fine. The ironic thing is that Courage The Cowardly Dog I enjoy a lot more these days than I did back then. I still very much liked the show back then (There was this episode called "Hot Head" that was like the funniest thing ever to me for some reason) but now that I'm more mature and have a more mature sense of humor I enjoy it a lot more. Powerpuff Girls was always my favorite, though. Lol. Yeah, I thought that show was hilarious back when I was in late elementary school but going back to it today I really don't understand what I liked about it.
  9. It's always great to be open to more kinds of music! I very much have the desire of being on the level of a Music Performance graduate with my skills, however I am not meant to go down that road. I'm going for education because I feel like I'm more fit to be a teacher. Anyway, what I'm listening to now: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl9_WB8kRcg
  10. No, it's fine. It's great to know that non-music majors have an appreciation for that style of music. Actually sadly not many music majors even liked that music history class. I feel like it was only me and two other students that actually enjoyed learning about music history. That class actually sparked an interest in listening to Renaissance choral music. Before then I was mostly into only Baroque/Classical orchestral works. I actually still have my book from that class and I was going to find it and look up the exact term for that kind of piece but I can't find the book. T_T I've enjoyed it, but I've only been through community college music program. So it was really mostly fun for me, there wasn't much competition. Thank goodness I'm not going into Music Performance - that would be the death of me!
  11. I'm a music major. =P It's Renaissance and Sacred. Actually there's more specific terms for that but it's been a year and a half since I last took Music History.
  12. Yeah. It's fun to watch him grow. Also makes me feel old that this generation of my family is now having babies. lol Yeah, I like 30 - 50 degrees. Especially when it's cloudy. What most people consider "dreary" makes me happy. Unfortunately, where I live winters aren't usually even that cold. =(
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh31j6L95Ok This type of music is so unappreciated. IMO.
  14. It was a pretty good day. It was nice and cool outside (stayed in the 30s most of the day!) and I got to see my sister's baby.
  15. I'm always sick... So I just have to act as normal as possible. When I get really sick (usually speaking migraines) I take medicine and heat up a corn bag. That helps me out somewhat, but those migraines can be really horrible. Sometimes none of that helps. Showers do usually help, though. If they stay hot long enough, that is. Colds are pretty much an everyday thing for me, but when they get really bad there isn't much I can do. I just get no sleep. =/
  16. I honestly didn't even know of My Little Pony until seven years ago and even then my interest in it was very, very low. All I saw were the toys and brushing their manes was never something that I had any interest in. lol With that said I haven't seen any of the shows before Friendship Is Magic. I didn't even know that My Little Pony cartoons existed before FiM came around. I've looked at them and they don't appeal to me as much. Especially Generation 3. The style of it honestly makes me think of nothing other than Barney. I'm so glad Faust designed a new style for the ponies that actually made them adorable. (Generation 1 was a lot more appealing visually than 3, though. I'll give it that). It's funny when you meet old MLP fans who hate on FiM because it's digital and not hand drawn. Honestly, they look way better in FiM. It doesn't matter whether they're digital or hand-drawn! (not to put down hand-drawn animation, I could see why somebody would prefer hand-drawn. It's just hating on FiM solely because it's digital?)
  17. Tank has won me over! IRL I'm a big dog person but I sadly don't even remember Winona before this episode. lol
  18. No, not really. And there are various degrees to which somebody is a fan of something.
  19. To me "Brony" and "Pegasis" are equivalent to "Fanboy" and "Fangirl". My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is just one cartoon I watch. I don't mean to undermine it as it is certainly one of the best cartoons started in many years. However, I'm not at that level of fandom. Well, I don't go to "that place" so I wouldn't know. I'm not sure how that even makes sense to begin with. The "r" had to come from somewhere. No matter what it actually means it has "Bro" in it, and that's what most people think of the term as.
  20. I'm well aware, I was just undecided on them because none of them stuck out to me as favorites.
  21. I voted Pinkie Pie, Sweetie Belle, and Octavia. I was pretty undecided on secondary characters, but the recent episode with Rarity and Sweetie Belle made Sweetie Bell stand out for me since I liked that episode so much.
  22. I don't see how in the world "brony" could be gender neutral. As was stated by Colton Manestache, "Brony" is the combination of "Bro" (shortened version of brother, meaning male sibling) and "Pony". There's nothing gender neutral about that, I'm sorry. "Pegasis" might actually be the best one because like "Brony" the words fit perfectly together, but I don't think I'd call myself that. I just enjoy My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I'm not that obsessed with it. lol
