Oooh, failed this time. Last time it broke when the forum, for some reason, thought that your spoiler tag extended around your signature, but it couldn't spoiler a signature, so everything went weird. If we can take advantage of this and if we incapacitate Feld0 so he can't fix the code, we could hold MLPForums hostage until they change the name to TrixieForums!

I didn't see the movie, but American cinema (and, sadly, a lot of MLP) is so predictable that I can guess Shimmer's personality. No, not really. They're both female enemies of Twilight who are rather charismatic. Beyond that they're pretty different. Or at least the Trixieist in me wants to think. No, no; they should just stay away. S&S only cause trouble for Trixie. Plus they abandoned her at the end of "Boast Busters".

That's all she said in the entire movie? Hasbro, you can't have her go back to speaking in the third person without adequate explanation. Oh well; all the more reason not to see EqG.

Post your unpopular opinions
Starswirl the Trixie replied to Lord Theoretical's topic in General Discussion
But how everyone so desperately wants to feel like a rebel. Sadly, almost everyone is pretty much normal. Don't let the cruelty of reality dawn on them. Or do, that way there will be more dispossessed souls willing to join the Cult of Trixie, which is oh-so unpopular and rebellious and hipster , I should add *nudge, wink, nudge, wink*. _____ Here are a few of mine, hopefully others will consider them up to par with the "unpopular" standard. *I hate Libertarianism, at least in its contemporary form. *I think the problem with American politics is that it is not ideological, partisan, and vitriolic enough. *While I consider the show meaningful and interesting, I have to facepalm whenever people talk about how the stated morals of MLP:FiM are somehow insightful, interesting, or even coherent. *Although an Atheist-Agnostic, I very much dislike the New Atheist movement and I think that it has set back the cause of irreligion by many years. *I think Neil deGrasse Tyson is overrated. *I think that Applejack's character was intended almost entirely as a marketing ploy for Southerners. *Connecting with the above, I'm one of the many strongly regionalist, anti-South Norhterners. *And others -
To appease her G&P-ness (don't try to pronounce that...), the other week I decided to collect pine cones to sacrifice. Unfortunately, most were still in the trees. So I did what any Trixiest would do: I grabbed a large stick and began attacking the branches of a large tree. My height boosted by a local park bench, I was able to knock many of them off the branches to the confusion of many onlookers. The spoils of this attack can be viewed below. By reading this post you remove all liability from me in case you start vandalizing public property/destroying trees to get their pine cones.

Oh no no no. Obsession is better than aspiration. Why would you want aspiration? That could eventually kill you. You have so much to live for, not to mention the fact that Trixie prohibits you from dying. (For those who don't get the joke: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Aspiration?s=t)

A true Trixiest, through years of ascetecism, meditation, and prayer, loses the need to sleep. We Trixiest clergy just sleeo because we like to; we could obviously stop if we wanted to. Also: We got a new convert!

If someone could obtain a pirated copy, cut out all the shots with Trixie in them, and make them into a Youtube video, I would be eternally grateful. I'm not at all excited by this movie, but I want moar Trixiez. Anyone know if Trixie has a speaking part?

Says the guy with the plot avatar. Clop makes perfect sense as a fetish (if it can even be called that.) See this: Nonetheless, this survey was...surprising. A year ago people were still seriously debating whether cloppers could be accepted into the community; now an informal survey suggests that we who haven't clopped are in the minority? I'm sure there was some inaccuracy in the survey, but it's still a sign that things are changing. Not for the worse; I can understand and respect clop. But it's strange to see the "dark side" of the fandom become more accepted and open as the fandom itself is becoming manestream.

Welcome to the forums! By "Master" did you mean "Mentor"? Or does this forum have a...weird reputation on the internet?

More seriously than all of us in being diehard fans of a cartoon show about talking ponies?- 30 replies

Trixie herself seems to have lower brightness than the background unaffected by the fireworks. Or maybe I'm just seeing things... Parody religions have grown popular on the internet in recent years, and Trixieism is certainly on the sensible side. Our claims aren't that radical, and worshiping a fictional character isn't exactly new.

Bumped after four months. Never too many Trixie threads. Equestria Daily posted a video by one Bronycurious, apparently an artist/comic, on the subject of why people like Trixie. I feel the need to tell non-Trixie lovers something: The video isn't exactly correct. Sure, it describes why he likes Trixie and why some people like him do, but many Trixie fans, including myself, strongly disagree with the video. The biggest point of contention: The video makes Trixie sound like this weak, helpless pony who has become "bad" because of traumatic life events and who, with a little love, would fit perfectly in with the Mane 6. That's such a boring conception of a character.

Ban him! Burn him! Crush him! Why resurrect this long dead thread? Sure, the universe can see once more the despicable, beauty-hating evil that is Trixiehate, but you do so by allowing Trixiehate to poison the minds of young children. The Trixie reeducation centers have been working hard to indoctrinate help students independently arrive at the conclusion that Trixie is best pony. Why would you jeopardize the success of these efforts?- 30 replies

We need more Trixie worshipers. And speaking of worship, I've upped the ante: 320 Trixies at once, already beyond the default maximum of 300. I've tested up to 1000 and found that it works, but I want to progress more gradually.

That, sir, is the sight of glory. A truly glorious sight. But I can do better. I've got 99 Trixies. In the first one you can see my CPU usage monitor, which shows I'm only using 15% of CPU capability to run all those Trixies. I'm tired, but tomorrow I'll go bigger. Hopefully this doesn't turn into an arms race to buy new computers to run moar Trixies... By the way, I should probably share that feeling when, at 2 in the morning, you realize your speakers are on only after they begin blasting the sound of 99 Trixies boasting at a very high volume. That feeling looks something like this:

You can probably imagine my disdain when I saw that Twilight was called an INTP. No, no; she's clearly J and quite possibly S. IxTJ, not INTP. We INTPs wouldn't be caught dead making long lists of things to do. Oh, and a quick reminder to everyone: A single online test can't accurately determine MBTI type (and, of course, many feel that people do not fall into the MBTI archetypes, but rather fall on spectrums between them.) If you want a second opinion besides the Human Metrics test in the OP, I'd recommend this one: http://www.25quiz.com/

They're just going off the idealized high school marketing strategy for little girls. I'm not sure why it works, but boy, it does. As for the ages: Try not to think about it too much. EqG isn't necessarily part of the canon. And Rarity certainly isn't a 17 year old (I'd put her at 25-28). Plus, Twilight's transition away from the castle to the real world seems more like a move from college to graduate school, not high school to college... In fact, I've sometimes thought that all of My Little Pony could be seen as an allegory for graduate school: The old, tenured professor (Celestia) sends her smart, young protege out to do the dirty work of her research while she gets the credit .

Trixieists do not get mad. We only feel joy and reverence to Trixie as we slice through the flesh of neighsayers, blow up their houses, and uproot their shrubberies. Watch out, lest your life become like your username.
