  1. I just saw it and loved every bit of it, of course some of the interviewed bronies I didn't agree with, overall presentation was solid and stuck to the point. Being the first part and being about the history though made it a tad boring for an internet historian such as myself. I witnessed the Almighty Moot slay masses with his powerful ban-hammer across the fields of 4chan. It was so horrible I was one of the disgusted members during the great war. I lost a number of friends online and in real life over that Great War. It wasn't until our Lord Moot flooded the world and created an Eden-like paradise known as /mlp/ in it's place that I began to show interest in the fandom. Good times were had during that war. Mods are asleep post ponies, GETS won't be banned, and the near-infinite attempts to try to make mods bronies. Let us remember this era once more. Give thanks to the ADMIN, for he is good, his lulz endure forever.
  2. Might actually go to bed early for once in a blue moon.

  3. Oh no not opal. Next she's going to eat all of Sweet Apple Acres. Oh no we're too late. She ate everything; the apples, the trees the barn, the tools, she even ate Applejack thinking she was cereal...
  4. Wow you actually did it! I feel so special now. XD I'm enjoying this more than I should, especially since you did the unthinkable and made Ponyville's most beautiful mare into has-been marshmallow stuffer. XD Poor Sweetie Belle must starve in that house
  5. I'd have to say below 60 but above 40. Me and my friends run a "Bad Movie Club" where we screen garbage movies and we always use Rotten Tomatoes' "Tomatometer" to pick what to screen. Anything below 30 is complete crap (DHX will at least make a quality movie, even though no one is going to like it) and anything below 15 is un-watchable unless you're in a group of loudmouth smart-asses who can make fun of the movie to no end or are extremely high.
  6. I love all of Phoenix's songs, especially from their latest album "Bankrupt!". Every song from that album is perfect to me, there last 2 albums had some good singles but were hit-and-miss to me, and their first albums were lackluster. But the track list to Bankrupt is so clean, crisp, bubbly, and well written. Track number 4 "Trying to be Cool" has been playing none-stop on my iPod and car for almost two months now. http://youtu.be/cFQnqoP3kS0 I'm just saying, if you don't own the album yet, go get it!
  7. Of course I'll be buying it! it'll go great with my other coffee-table books. They're all art books and profiles from video games and manga, so adding a similar pony book won't be one bit embarrassing for me. Steal of a deal by the way. Most of the books I get like this one from other series are 30 dollars and up.
  8. Speaking of Hot Topic, I can't stand the experiences at my local one. I do like everyone and carry around pony stuff and sit indecisive for about 20 minutes. The girls that work there always tease me about all sorts of stuff too. It's just embarrassing because those girls are all cute as Hell and I feel like I'm having such a spaghetti moment when I'm in there. XD
  9. Ahhhh... Digimon Adventure was such a heartfelt work of art, it was one of the few things I watched growing up that still has significant meaning nowadays. Digimon Adventure 02 wasn't as meaningful but I still somehow love it even more than the first. As for the rest of the series I'm indifferent, I don't know why, but I can't get into the newer stuff.
  10. Should have laid off the Haagen Dash. I say keep the plump ponies going, it's hilarious XD Next do Rarity, it'll be phenomenal!
  11. I've only been involved a few months myself, and I wish I would have taken up the offer way back in 2010 to watch MLP and become a brony. I feel like it would have saved me some heartache with my relationships with other people. I may have not even had any heartache with people if I came earlier.
  12. I have that problem with a lot of my obsessions. I remember when Sonic the Hedgehog had it's 20th Anniversary two years ago, every store had something Sonic related in it, and I bought EVERYTHING. I'm still in debt from Sonic's birthday... >< As for MLP, I've been trying to control myself to only get thing made for bronies (Like the stuff seen in Hot Topic and Spencer's) and my favorite ponies. I'm tempted to start buying the real toys made for children though and keep them boxed hanging on my walls. I'll control myself as best as I can though. The one purchase that really bothered me the most was the Pinkie Pie from Build-A-Bear it cost me 50 dollars to get and I was questioning my ordering it for the longest while it was shipping. Once she came though I realized she's the little answer to my prayers. X3 My routine is lurk online usually to get an idea of what I want, then I wait until I'm with my friends shopping to actually by the stuff. The exception is online exclusives and the BAB items. I couldn't get the guts to go into that place, even when a pegasister friend offered to go with me I got very embarrassed. For a month I tried to go in there but finally I just ordered Pinkie Pie online.
  13. Since we're using the term "villain" more loosely as a synonym for "antagonist" here I'll say Flim and Flam. I'd love to travel with them and scam everypony across the land. I'd even find other things besides poorly made cider to scam ponies into buying. We'd get so many bits! -evil grin- Not to mention we'll sing the greatest songs in Equestria all the while doing it!!
  14. I agree 120 percent with this. If I told you guys that I was morbidly depressed since I was 15 years old and the only thing that genuinely makes me forget my worries and pains is having friends in this great community would you believe me? Genuine article Bronies and Pegasisters have an odd air about them. They never ever judge anyone unless pushed to very strong limits, they always want the best for people at all costs, they're willing to let their inner-child flourish by all means, they never mind sharing laughter with others and are so lovingly kind they'll even share tears with you. I've been parts of other fandoms before and have never felt such a strong emotional connection to fellow fans. I don't care if the series jumps a million sharks along the way, gets cancelled prematurely, the worst fanfiction ever is made and ends up on national television embarrassing all of us severely, or Jay-Z becomes the executive producer even. As long as the fanbase has as many great souls partaking in the community as it has right now, I'll never leave.
  15. I'm 19 and I refuse to ever grow up. I tried it once and it was horrible. Excuse me while I go cuddle with my Pinkie Pie from Build-A-Bear.
  16. Like everyone else is saying in here, if you genuinely love somepony you wouldn't want them to change. Besides do we really want deformed Bratz doll Equestria Girls "humans". I know I'd turn into a pony in a heartbeat compared to that monstrosity, I'll even cut off my thumbs right now. (Obviously joking, if you know me then you know I'm neutral on EG for now)
  17. I got my Pinkie Pie today! I have to say I was questioning the hefty price tag of 50 dollars for a stuffed animal, but I'm glad I invested in it! She's very well made, the stitching had no mistakes unlike many other plushes, and her mane and tail fibers seem very sturdy yet soft, she's super soft all over. She's also very accurate, the eyes are spot on to the cartoon and her cutie mark is placed just right. The royal wedding outfit is great too, the dress's quality has added details that pop out well. The necklace is made of cloth instead of pearls, but I prefer the look and understand that had it used fake pearls it would have looked cheap. The head band has been reduced to the flowers only and they attach to her ear, again the head band and pearls would have been strange looking. The dress it's self has some loose threads, but they aren't falling apart or visible when it's on Pinkie Pie. I love my Pinkie Pie :3 The only problem I had is with her mane and tail. When it came it was tied up and I had to spend almost an hour brushing them, detangling it, and teasing them. Out of the box Pinkie Pie only has a curly mane and tail and they're thin looking. I wanted to give it that bouncy, cotton candy like mane and tail she's famous for. I had to also use a blow dryer on cold to help volumize and spread out the hairs. I lost only a few hairs doing so and she now looks exactly like she should. Also I ordered the plush with a normal amount of stuffing, the company stuffed her just right, she's sturdy but not so stuffed she's hard to the touch. If ordering online I suggest letting the pros do what they know and stuff it like they normally would. Don't give any special directions unless you really know what your doing. I don't plan to do this but I also realize that it's very easy to turn her into Pinkamena by washing her mane and tail in warm water using a little fabric softener and 2in1 shampoo and conditioner to wash out the curls followed by using a fine tooth comb to straighten the hair out. I've done this with my curly cosplay wigs before and the the hair fibers on this stuffed pony are identical to wig fibers (Though Pinkie Pie's hair is much softer and better smelling than run of the mill cosplay wigs lol). I just love her so much, I have to say the guys at Build A Bear know how to toys lovable for sure. Every time I look at her I feel all warm and fuzy, I can't let her out of my arms either. I've been cuddling with her all day, she's even in my arms right now as I type. X3 I urge everyone to get the Pinkie Pie immediately as it may be a special edition and going away soon, it seems Dashie will be there all year though. I hope that both of them are making kids happy all over the world, I know the Pinkie Pie made me very happy and I'm almost 20 haha. Just be sure if buying for a kid you take the steps to brush her hair out yourself so they won't get a Baldy Pie instead. Get the Lovable set-up as it's most accurate with the show, the Lovable Pinkie Pie comes with the wedding outfit, necklace and hairpiece. The other set ups have her in more generic outfits and even wearing converses, some may like that kind of stuff, I don't. Here's some pictures, mind you the fibers in the mane and tail look cheap only in the pictures, in real life they don't have that cheap frizzy shine look. And the "default look" or what she looks like without proper hair care And a reference pic because I can I could have given my Pinkie Pie more of a beehive hair style, but I'm keeping her naked for now. Also if you guys want, give me input on her hair. I'm still fidgeting with it trying to make it look perfectly Pinkie Pie.
  18. I'm sorry to hear that. But it seems he may be a goner. I have to say though, just like the Megaman fandom we need to stand firm together and show that we are one, not back out and leave. If we unite we have more power over Hasbro/Capcom. But I also have to say that Capcom has just flat out been abusing Megaman, Hasbro's been treating MLP like a sacred cow and are only interested in what the viewers and fans want, albeit with a priority with their main demographic (Little Girls). We only come after that, so of course things like EG will sting our eyes a bit, but it comes with the territory of liking a show designed from the ground up for little girls primarily. I've had similar heart ache with some of my friends irl. They used to be bronies and begged me to join the herd, by the time I did a few lost interest in the show, and the big cheese of our group left after seeing EG for the first time a few months back. There excuse is that EG will become a show, the entire MLP franchise is for little girls, they're graduating college soon, and have no time to be immature. They need to be strong manly men who lurk The Art of Manliness. Meanwhile little Edgy is seen as the youngest, smallest member of said group, and it's now funny that a major part of my life revolves around a cartoon about talking horses. Let me tell you though, I ain't ever growing up, I'll stay a manchild my whole life. My father used to be a Disney Imagineer for crying out loud lol.
  19. My best friend. He's a lot like me in tastes to everything other than ponies. When FIM first came out he would bash on bronies back in high school. He thought it was the worst fad ever and always said it would die by the second season. He assumes that all bronies are furries and we just like to clop to r34 stuff. When he found out I had finally became a brony he told me to never edit my Steam avatar or name to anything related to MLP or he'd block me. He also thinks that my entry to the fandom is the result of me not having the same friends anymore (We both kinda got outcasted from our cliques in highschool so it was just us for the longest), me going through a nasty breakup, me becoming a more devout Christian and needing to watch "non-mature/baby stuff", and me just coping with my depression as a whole. Even worse is he thinks that Pinkie Pie fanboys are the worst of the lot, and well... I am one. He also thinks that this fandom is the result of American society allowing women to teach and lead in the world. .... Wow, we're like polar opposites yet I'll still call him my best friend, I suppose I can't leave him after all the crap we went through together. I'll love and tolerate the crap out of him lol. Mind you he has a troll mentality too, so some of his views are just sick and twisted for the lulz I suppose.
  20. I would love to see RD be seen as stronger, almost exclusively because she's the reason I became a brony, the comparisons everyone made to her and Sonic peaked my interest in FIM. But we also have to take in consideration that everypony has to be equal for the show to be good. If RD was overpowered and fearless like Sonic she's become a Mary Sue/Goku. We even see this in Sonic's series, he used to be on par with his friends but since the 3D era he's become a god slaying, fearless, cocky, infinitely powered badass for the most part. I get off on that kinda stuff because I'm Sonic fanboy, but most fans wish he was normalized again. RD needs to have some flaws to make her character realistic, otherwise the power-trip will become really old really fast. I have always had a dream of seeing Super Rainbow Dash though, I mean there's six Elements of Harmony and six Chaos Emeralds in the original games. I thought it would be cool to see her harness the power of all the Elements and go super and kick some monster's ass if only just as a giant tribute to the Sonic series. But that's ridiculous. Yet, so cool... I'd imagine her body more gold than white though. But it may take from the yellow in her rainbow mane. Also has anyone thought of what Hyper Rainbow Dash would be like? Or is that too much? XD
  21. I'd have to say they're not goddesses, they've shown weaknesses in the series a good bit. Luna/Nightmare Moon being easily defeated by the Mane 6 wielding the Elements of Harmony, Celestia being over powered by Chrysalis, and Candace growing fatigued all show that the Alicorn race have a limit to their power. I think as for the "immortality" they're shown to posses, I think it's also just related to the well of vast magic they all posses extending their lives to an unknown but finite number years. If you want to talk about gods let's talk about Discord, Discord is best god. As for the anypony becoming an alicorn theory, I can't say if I can agree. But for the unicorn race it could be possible, alicorns are known for their magic and as are unicorns. If a unicorn has enough potential with magic (Like Twilight did) they can perhaps "evolve" to an alicorn.
  22. SS3 hair is such a pain to draw, especially towards the ends. Looks like you had no problem with that though! Great work! I just always laugh when I see SS3 Goku's facial expressions. The lack of eyebrows always makes him look weird to me lol. Never got why they made SS3'S bald-browed. XP
  23. So far I have Fluttershy (normal) and Rainbow Dash. I'm trying to focus on getting the Mane 6 from the line first before doing background ponies, it's hard to resist though. My only complaint is that the heads and are glued on to the bodies in a rather sloppy way, both figures I own have dried glue stains running down the wings, it isn't mush but enough to bother me as a toy collector. Another complaint I have is with RD's mane and tail, the paint is very sloppy. Though Fluttershy seems to be much higher quality all around. Looking forward to the next series nontheless.
  24. I ordered the Lovable Pinkie Pie (what a surprise huh?) about a week ago online. It should be coming tomorrow after work. I can't wait to snuggle with her and play with her! ... I mean put it on my shelf with all my other toys and collectibles and review it.
  25. From what I've seen I'm scarred by the plot. The animation seems fine, I don't know why but I figured the animation wouldn't be a lick fluid. Hopefully I'm just wrong, but it seems like it's going to 25% MLP:FIM, 75% Bratz knockoff. I hope I'm wrong... I hope it'll be good... I'll keep waiting until I see it in its entirety to have a verdict. Please just be a shock due to human ponies.
