Yeah, I think I'll participate too. I don't have a problem with r34 in and of itself, however the possibility of children seeing on image searches it is indeed a problem so yeah - I approve of this. Also, I was image searching pony stuff yesterday - has anyone else found that [insert Pony Here] rule 34 isn't appearing in the suggested searches anymore - even if you start to type it fairly explicitly? This is with safe search off by the way. Additionally, does the prevalence of this stuff differ between countries? Because I've seen r34 once in a regular search with safe search turned off even though I look up fanart and whatnot fairly regularly.

Well honestly, look at the name of the ship. You're looking at either 'Cheese Pie' or 'Pinkie Sandwich'... both of which sound kinda dirty if your head's in the gutter.

Quite a few actually: Griffon the Brush Off: I've noticed that opinions on this episode tend to be centred around Gilda - if you don't like Gilda, you'll despise the episode; if you are at least neutral toward Gilda then you'll love it. I for one don't mind and even kind of like Gilda. Sure, she's a bully and an arse, however I find her to be quite a fleshed out arse if you read between the lines a bit... gee, that didn't come out right did it? Boast Busters: Okay, this'll require some explanation. Where I live, we have an urban legend of a certain lady called Trixie who gives... erm... certain favours :comeatus: . So when a character introduces herself as 'The Great and Powerful Trixie', performs a variety of 'tricks', ties people up, puts others in stupid clothes and has two guys pull her on a chariot whilst she whips them how can you not expect me to laugh myself silly the whole time? Also, I actually found the flea market line hilarious. Magical Mystery Cure: I get how some could see this as rushed... but the pacing worked for me and hit all the right notes. This is actually the only episode of MLP that nearly made me well... a little. Castle-Mania: It was a Scooby Doo esque romp where not a lot happened plot wise. That doesn't mean it wasn't entertaining from start to finish. Daring Don't: I don't mind Daring being real and I liked that we had a more action-orientated episode. Also really enjoyed the whole 'battle of the nerds' thing.

I actually loved it. The first five minutes and this probably the only fully good parts of the film.

Okay, you're right - I should probably say something serious *folds arms and puts on stern matronly expression*. As I've said before, I do not clop, however, I'm really interested in sexual psychology (for.... purely intellectual reasons you understand). I've read anecdotes from the more NSFW sides of various fandoms and as far as I can deduce, these reasons would seem to be the appeal of clop: 1. The show has a large cast of female characters, nearly all of which are likeable and fleshed out. 2. On that note, the elements of the mane 6 are kindness, generosity, loyalty, honesty, laughter and magic. So in other words, there's a perfect girlfriend for everypony - perhaps, especially for those who are shy/romantically awkward (not accusing anyone of such - just a hypothesis). 3. As others have said - cuteness (although I can't in any way relate to or even understand this personally) 4. They're ponies, but they share a lot of physical attributes with humans (e.g long, colourful hair) 5. There are a wide variety of lines and character attributes which can be..... 'taken out of context'. I'll just leave that there. If I could say there was one major difference between 'clop' and other NSFW portions of fandoms (besides the prevalence, which based on experience is bigger but exaggerated), it would be that there seems to be a lot of genuine love/dedication here. In most of these circles, it's more a case of "yeah, I'd bonk that". Here though, I've seen full on love poetry, people dreaming about dates and marriages and in very rare and extreme cases, people who abstain from regular relationships (e.g Twilight plushie guy) to be with their equine partners. So it's less like "I'd so do Rainbow Dash" and more like "Oh my sweet mare Rainbow Dash, gather me up in your big strong hooves, and hold me tenderly as we fly away into the sunset!" ... sweet Celestia, I just wrote that . Well, I should probably reiterate that I'm not a clopper.... I swear... I swear on Fluttershy's innocence even though that post would be pretty odd taken out of context .

Careful, I have a Luna launcher! Anyhow, to contribute again, I can see the appeal of clop: It's a stable relationship where unbridled passion flows and love is reined in. Sorry, but I've resisted posting that for 2-3 months now.
