    Did he? Hmm I stand corrected then. I maintain that his presence in this episode would have been unnecessary. As for the point that he would have been able to resolve the conflict, I must respectfully disagree. He would not have been locked away in the room with the mane six. I hardly think it would be difficult for them to subdue a baby dragon.

    Spike would have just been extra baggage and added nothing to the episode in my opinion. He's been left behind many times before (Friendship Is Magic, The Return of Harmony) and even when he's there he rarely does anything (What did he do in Magical Mystery Cure exactly? In a Canterlot Wedding he was good for one joke and that's it). This isn't to say I hate Spike, but I don't think him being there would have added anything to the story. It's damn near perfect the way it is imo.

    Oh my Celestia, is this real life right now!? 100 subs, that's like, 100 people who are at least moderately interested in what I have to say Comparable to most YouTubers you're subscribed to, 100 subs won't seem like a lot. But for me, hitting triple digits is extremely satisfying. I've put a lot of work into my channel the last few months and I'm so happy to see it all pay off. For those of you on here who are subscribed, thank you very much. I learn more with each video I make and know where I still can make improvements. The videos should hopefully get better and better as time goes on. But enough with that serious crap. I'm gonna freakin celebrate right now! I've hit 100 subs, made Equestria Daily, and have some awesome friends on here who may or may not care but whatever!

    Today I presented a satirical music video to my video production class in school. Everybody loved it, except my teacher. She said there was no substance in it and that all it had was eye candy and "16-year old" humor. Not to be shut down like that, I wrote the following 6-page, 1,751-word essay in defense of my video. Not only can I analyze MLP, but apparently my own work as well. Needless to say, I expect to see that grade go up drastically. Remember guys, always stand up for yourself and your creations.

    Cool, I was looking to start something like this myself. I think it'd be fun being a guest if you'll have me. My mic's solid (you can look at videos through my profile if you'd like to check) and I recently did a podcast type thing with ChikoritaBrony so I've got some experience with this kind of stuff.

    That's a great point. But I don't understand how leaving Spike behind is "contrived", because it's something that has happened several times before (including in his favorite premiere The Return of Harmony). Tommy says things I agree with in every review he does and then he says some things I really don't agree with right afterwords. I wouldn't even mind here, but like Hypno I got pissed that he implied that people are willfully overlooking these flaws and are worshipping everything DHX puts out. The word pretentious gets thrown around a lot, so I'll use "arrogant" to describe that instead

    So just for future reference, you being a Tommy Oliver fan is NOT something I should include in the Hypnosparkle fan club? Part of me likes some of Tom's work, but things like he did here, putting himself up on a pedestal for being the good critic that doesn't overlook flaws, is kind of obnoxious. I can understand why Spike not going may be a problem for him, but I myself don't thinks it's actually contrived and also don't care anyway because I'd rather focus on the big themes. To be insulted like that kind of ticks me off and was completely unnecessary on his part.

    On my videos I don't get terrible comments which makes me happy Usually, my least favorite comments are ones where arrogant jerks insult the video maker or people with different opinions than them. Disagreeing is fine, but "ur such a fgt" or whatever is so uncool bro
