Ueah sorry... I was in full Fanfic author mode for a moment there... I would still pity them, having seen the worst and the vest our fandom has to offer...

I'd have to say that I relate best with a Changeling as well, but not for the same reasons as the other guy. I work best when following orders, depending on who I am interacting with I change my personality and accents. I also have to say that I also relate to Discord as well. I always like to change up how I do things. While I have a rather morbid and elderly outlook on life and everyone around me, I seek the fun in all things. Even if it is at the cost of another. While I am not the most trustworthy person, the ones I call friends can count on me. Even if I mess up and break their trust...

Woah woah woah... Whaere are you guys getting "Didney ith buying Hathbro!?!?!" from? I mean, to me, it sounds like HASBRO is the one getting something from this. I mean, Hasbro just got the rights to make DOLLS of the Disney Princesses. Nowhere in that did I read the Disney got the rights to MLP... This blatantly states my point. I mean, Hasbro is simply being allowed to make dolls of Disney's IP. If someone could point me to the line where they say that Disney is buying out the MLP IP, that would be great... thank you...

I would pity them... I mean, with all of you who would go and steal them, or take them home as a pet, or make a farm for them. What about what they want? If they are sentient and can make their own descisions, who are we to force them to do what we want them to do? Making them pets? Forcing them to live with us? Doesn't that constitute as kidnapping or slavery? I understand that this is purely conjecture, but we should really think about this from their point of view. If all the Ponies from Equus were to suddenly replace every horse and pony here, I would think they would be terrified! Weather that happens all on it's own! Giant metal monsters that make loud noises and go fast(Though Rainbow Dash would love that)! Strange ape creatures that are fawning over them, touching them without their consent, and suddenly your friends and family start to disappear one by one until you are left alone in the home of one of these ape creatures. The images of your friends or famous ponies are plastered on their walls and their magic, moving picture boxes. You have barely any clue as to what is going on, all you know is that these creatures know all about you and you have no idea if what they are eating is Pony or not. Sure, they might treat you with respect and love. Sure, they might even give you anything you desire. You might even get to socialize with your friends again at times. But you are still considered a 'pet' to these creatures. A curiosity. Something to be watched, studied, and maintained. Oh sure, they might KNOW you are capable of making your own decisions, doing things on your own, but nothing you say can convince them to release you. It might be years before they enact laws that protect your people, to recognize you as citizens. heck, you may never get to see that time. it might be your great grandfoals who are finally freed. You would have to endure being treated as an animal because they think of you as one. Sure, you might be cute and cuddly, but so are cats! All in all, it all comes down to how we initially react to them. If we just suddenly go out and try to "Get a Pony of our own" then I assure you that they will be treated as pets, as second class citizens. but if we go out and greet them, protect their rights as sentient, thinking creatures, then(and IF) they get home, we have gained an ally... Holy fuck nuggets... I am thinking too hard about this at 4:30 Am... tl;dr Ponies are people too... Don't try to make them pets... Unless they like that... I am looking at you Lyra Heartstrings!

I have to agree with most of you. Digi use to be far more upbeat in his earlier videos. His earlier stuff is what got me into watching these analyst videos. I used to watch the others too, to see how their opinions differ. Lately though? I had to stop watching because he just seemed to change drastically. He seemed far more depressed and cynical than he used to, probably brought on by something in his life he doesn't want to talk about. I do see a lot of the older fans leaving, now that the fandom seems to have grown exponentially. To me, taking this objectively and with a grain of salt, it seems as if they resent all the "Psuedo-Bronies" who are only here to make a quick buck, get chicks, or just to be part of the mainstream. Even I get some negative thoughts at times when thinking about the future of the fandom. I feel like this fandom is turning into the next Trekkies or Star Wars fans and that scares me.

The reason being that Discord at the time felt no shame for his actions. he had nothing to hold him back until Fluttershy became his friend.

Teletubbies are cute? oh my... In all seriousness, at least all the seriousness one can get from candy colored equines, it all depends on who it is staring at you. Like Fluttershy has mastered the 'Shame Stare' a stare that shames the victim into compliance.

For me? It is a more personal reason attributed to my personality. I tend to mimic accents and ways of doing things when I am around others, mostly in a way to get them to like me. Each friend I make sees a different me. One friend sees me as an evil minion, so I act that way. Another sees me as a trusted confidant, so I act that way. Each of these people see the true me, and at the same time, a mask I wear. I guess the thought of a being a Changeling is just appealing to me. That and we pretty much get all the benefits of all the races without being an alicorn! As for the other races? They are out there, you just have to dig. As for the hive mind? I don't really mind it. I mean, I am already hearing voices as a schizophrenic, this is just another day for me.
