  1. LET THE PARTY BEGIN EVERYPONY ((I spend way too much time on Tumblr and have all these GIFs I wanted to use))
  2. Granted. Too bad your door was recently torn off of your house and taken to a nearby dump. Those poor ninjas, obligated to go visit a dump for no known reason... I wish the Klonoa webcomic wouldn't be forced to shut down as it is now...
  3. ... *gently taps core off the bed* He go whee Haha I'm so tired *goes back to sleep*
  4. I have literally no problems with this episode. And given how season 4 episodes have been lately, it's about time I can actually say that. Maud was awesome, the interaction was awesome, the jokes were awesome... I loved everything about this episode. If I had to choose SOMETHING, though, I'd complain about the lack of a monotone musical number from Maud. Anyone else think that would've been perfect?
  5. I'd argue against Lana Skye mainly because Lana still had tons of emotion behind her words, and her sadness was easy to detect from the start. Plus, the relief brings out a big, sincere smile. Maud just sorta says "Yeah, I love my sis. Yay." ... Not meaning to knitpick and feel free to ignore this, just wanted an excuse to advertise my love of Ace Attorney again.
  6. ... Well... this episode was definitely something. Something I really liked. It was a good episode. Yay. ... Okay, Maud impression over. I freaking LOVED this episode. This episode in particular holds a moral I'm really able to find myself understanding. There's more than one social life to a person, but we often feel a heavy desire to have them intertwine. Pinkie wanted this so very badly. And I understand it entirely. I've felt this way before too. I've tried it, and interestingly enough, it didn't exactly work out. Fact is, one friend of a person isn't exactly compatible with another, often moreso the case with a person's relatives. I love one of my friends with all my being but his brother's a bully. <<; It's all just based on how well the people can talk, and sometimes closing the gap between two sides isn't easy, and this episode portrayed that amazingly. They tried to make friends with Maud, they really did. And I really, truly love that. Some may complain that Maud was fairly bland, but that was the point. Maud never went through the exciting life-changing event that made Pinkie so happy. She grew up on the Rock farm; she became bland. Like a rock. But she's still a good soul, even if she is a simple, soft-spoken one. I loved how they pulled her off. And Pinkie kept desperately trying to befriend both sides despite the differences. I can understand that. I really, truly can. I've been in that position before. It's not fun to see a friend not getting along with a different set of friends. But, of course, differences are still there, and can't be denied. Good moral, good characters, good story... Overall, this was an enjoyable episode, through and through. Easy 9.5/10. Or... I guess you could say this episode really... ROCKED *stoned to death*
  7. I'm 16 years old, but three of my closest online friends are 19, 21, and 22. Another one's old enough to have a child! I have absolutely no criteria in an online friend except that they aren't idiots, and that they have a fairly good grasp of converting the English language to the keyboard. I will NOT be typing with someone who can't use mixed caps at least most of the time and does a poor job at spelling words. I'm sorry, but that is a SERIOUS pet peeve of mine.
  8. Not a single smart anti-brony to be found. However, I HAVE found some very decent NON-bronies. They've been fairly open on the matter, sometimes dropping it for the sake of not getting on their nerves (which I was okay with), and some hearing me out for why I like it. Non-bronies are fine; anti-bronies are NOT the brightest bulbs.
  9. I'm quiet, and very socially awkward. That said, though, I don't have too difficult of a time making friends. ... Well, okay, that's a lie. The friends I have now are some scattered over the course of a couple years and I haven't even reached the five-person mark, but somehow or another, I've managed to make friends. I think it primarily revolves around the fact that we all share the common connection of being a bunch of geeky dorks with no real lives outside of the internet, video games, and each other. ... Mostly the internet.
  10. DID SOMEBODY SAY GAMECUBE?!?!? Hell yeah, this system was my childhood! I got Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Heroes, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Pokemon Colisseum and XD... this system was a majority of my life and I loved it to death. I still have it today, and though I admittedly tend to use my Wii more often to play Gamecube games, it ain't going anywhere anytime soon~
  11. 1. Sexualized characters. Now, I'm not referring to characters with large breasts or dashing legs or something that of that sort, because to my knowledge, characters of that sort HAVE been done well. I mean, Tharja, from Fire Emblem: Awakening was a... decent character, and you can see so much of her. My problem is when this sexual look is constantly exploited; when there's dialogue about a girl's breasts, or how ashamed they are of the size; essentially, whenever a character's sexual appeal plays a part in their development, I'm gone. 2. BADASS EXPLOSIONS AND SEX AND TESTOSTEROME AND MAAAAAAAN You know what I mean by this. This is honestly a minor one if the game itself is still good (excluding sex, I avoid that crap like the plague), but my GOD, sometimes it's just too easy to tell when a game was made to appeal to the MANLY MEN, and as an agender-borderline-transgender, it just... offends me to a deep emotional level. 3. American Kirby is Badass. We all know this trope, whether we know the name or not. This revolves around the idea that in America, we make games more "badass", so as to not alienate the cutesy-avoiding North American market. Now, to be fair, I can understand this one to a point, because, fact is, people in America DO tend to avoid "cute" games. I mean, Klonoa was the greatest thing ever, and almost no one's played it. I just want more cute games, guys. T_T
  12. "I'm sorry, but her parents are partly at fault here. They know that people are going to rape someone going out dressed in a dress like that." Do you see the problem with your words yet? VICTIM-SHAMING IS NOT OKAY
  13. ... I don't care if you're a teacher, this is sincerely the dumbest thing I've read in a long while. You think that, oh, instead of punishing the TRUE CAUSE OF TROUBLE, at the risk of a few assholes complaining, it's easier to just get rid of the kid who's suffering simply for being himself? My god, that kind of mentality is the reason we still HAVE problems like this. <<;
  14. ... What is with you and your desire to make My Little Pony dark based on crossovers? Anyways, I'm indifferent to AE fanfiction, and not just because I don't read fanfiction all too often. In most cases, it tends to be way too light, or WAAAAAY too dark, primarily where it doesn't belong to begin with. I don't hate it, but I tend to avoid it.
  15. I'm honestly getting thoroughly sick of crap like this. This isn't a means of remedying the problem. This is victim-shaming. THIS IS F**KING VICTIM-SHAMING Quite frankly, I'm disappointed in the school for this poor decision, and I only hope they can get off their self-righteous asses and see that they're going after the wrong party here. Though, knowing society, they likely won't.
  16. I played many, many games in my childhood, but I think the game that defined it was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I don't remember when I got it, I can't remember how much I played it, I can't remember how good I was, but it's one of the games that's followed me into my late teens and it's one of the games that sits well in my past. It was one of the games I would always go back to, and even now I go back and play it every now and again. Not my favorite classic game, or even my first, but definitely the one that I remember most.
  17. Fanservice is not an inherently problematic addition to something, as long as it isn't sexual (which would be hard to incorporate in MLP, might I say). However, it CAN be milked out too much for it to be any fun, and ruin the value of certain parts of the show. ... I don't feel that the show has done this too extensively. Personally, I'm genuinely grateful for some of the fanservice it's had to offer. I liked seeing Bench Press get a name and more of a personality, I liked seeing Derpy get another show on-screen, brief and quiet as it was, I liked Big Mac singing Acapella... I haven't had many complaints for this season. ... However... This is the biggest problem with the newer episodes and I won't attempt to dislodge this argument at all. It seems the show lately has just been desperate to shove as many ponies as it can possibly manage into a single episode. I find this heavily infuriating, especially because these appearances almost always result in a heavy butchering of the character's personality for the sole purpose of just giving them SOME purpose. Don't even get me started on poor Pinkie...
  18. I don't think R34 in itself is inherently problematic, and I have absolutely no quarrels with individual R34 artists who find sexual pleasure in pastel-colored equines and variations of such except Tiarawhy. However, I won't deny that R34, especially for MLP of all things, has become far too prevalent on the internet and is overall VERY problematic for the viewers of the show and even those simply watching it off to the side. And don't even get me started on the innocent little girl target demographic. I won't oppose R34 or whatever comes out of it, but it REALLY needs to be kept more in check.
  19. I'm not afraid to call myself a brony, but I prefer to introduce to others as a "fan of My Little Pony". Again, not out of shame, and I'll call myself a brony in situations to follow, but that takes away the controversy and general negative context that society sadly has on the term, which thus allows people to have a more open mind when talking to me. I have no problem with the term myself and I don't see it as a negative term by any means, but sadly, the term has come with very negative context. Even those who are okay with fans of the show view the term "brony" as a very derogative and negative means of addressing only the most unsavory brony. It's a shame, but the term is DEFINITELY turning into something it isn't.
  20. Well, this is a rather interesting topic because I don't really seem to have it as bad as most people. Ever since I left my EXTREMELY judgemental elementary school and moved to a new town, everyone I've met has been really accepting of me and my interests and fandoms. I've literally only gotten one person to judge me at all and they weren't even worth taking seriously. My friends accept it, my family accepts it, the general public of the school accepts it (with one or two exceptions, but they just don't know any better)... I really haven't had many problems with people in high school. As for hate, it depends on what's being hated on. If you're hating on me as a person, I don't get too bothered. If you're hating on my fandoms, I get very heated and get desperate to defend them. And if you're hating on any of my friends, I have a few choice words for you...
  21. Now, I'm not the kind of person who would be selective about what hairstyle any potential romantic interest would have, but... I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a preference. My preference is the long, free hair. The hair that goes down past the shoulders, and has various parts that stick out. A messy sort of look, somewhat unkempt. I'm just a sucker for long, messy hair, essentially.
