  1. One of my biggest fears is ridicule... but we'll see who's laughing when I'm drinking a martini on my yacht!
  2. All that being said, though, if I could go there with people enjoying my audience when I decide to give it, I would move there in a heartbeat! In a way the world as it is today is kind of the same way... People tend to look down on those without much of a social life, even if those people just prefer to be quieter, or keep a smaller, yet closer group of friends. Sure they aren't out and about all the time, but when they are together, their connections are most genuine. Just because someone doesn't like being surrounded by their friends constantly doesn't mean they dislike them, they just enjoy peaceful time alone. Truth be told, I have a feeling if a community like this one was established, there would be so many bronies understanding of this kind of behavior that it would be accepted anyway.
  3. Twilight and Fluttershy are introverts themselves. A country like this trying to force someone like Fluttershy to be more like Pinkie Pie would end terribly, and if they treated her as less because of this, saying her seclusion was "wrong" would be even worse. An introvert may come to a place like this seeking a place of acceptance where people would love them for who they are, but then to try and have social activity crammed down their throat? Not everyone likes constant stimulation, but that doesn't mean they don't want to be part of a nicer community. It's all very reminiscent of "We Happy Few"... Where you live in utopia.... so long as you remember to smile, take your joy, say hi to your neighbors, and never mention anything depressing... After all, you don't want to be a downer, do you?
  4. With all the tales of good always winning, I find it refreshing to see a tragedy from time to time... Lest we forget that the world is not all sunshine and rainbows. Bad things happen to good people, sometimes evil succeeds and even though we did all we could, in the end we were truly powerless to stop what was coming. Never giving up hope can be a good attribute without a doubt, but it can also lead to foolish recklessness. Part of living in this world is knowing when to hold 'em, and when to fold 'em. Not to mention, the morals in tragedies are often better than comedies because (at least in traditional writing) a tragic flaw actually leads to the protagonist's downfall, leaving a much clearer message than when the hero triumphs regardless of any mistakes they may have made along the way.
  5. Colby Jack is the stuff. Sweet, smooth, and mild is just how I like it.
  6. What about introverts means they must be "reformed"? Seems kinda totalitarian to try and force someone to change their nature like that :/ I mean, in a state that supposedly focuses on caring about people, it's kind of counterproductive for that same state to go out of their way to change someone rather than accept them for who they are... unless they want all of their population to conform... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_reaI5CWBjU Sorry, but I'd avoid that kind of country like the plague... It takes all kinds of people to make a world, and if everyone is thinking the same, then nobody is thinking at all.
  7. ... Richard Cheese's cover of Insane in the Brain... I know the rules on excessive swearing, so I ain't gonna post the link here... Heck, just using his stage name is kind of pushing it. But I would think that song in MLP would be the cause of several.... unsatisfied.... parents out there. ... Also, can I just say how awesome Richard Cheese's covers are? Smoothest lounge jazz remixes of songs you'd never think could work as jazz.
  8. after a 10-hour work day, I doubt much will feel better than eating a giant pork burrito while laying in bed and watching youtube in my pajamas.

      You doubt much what xP?

  9. "If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

  10. Everything in existence is transient, it all becomes nothing eventually. Anything and everything the human mind can comprehend is meaningless... Yet we push onward anyway. Is that not the most beautiful picture you can imagine?
  11. Ever seen that movie "The Road to El Dorado"...? ...that... I would do that...
  12. I like the smell of burned sugar, static electricity... which I guess it is technically ozone that I'm smelling because science, gunpowder, and yeast~
  13. I'd love to take part in this! ... Buuuut it's on a busy weekend for me, I doubt I'll be able to join in the fun this time.
  14. Honestly, I would probably not look too much into why it happened, but instead, I would be spending my time researching magic in general and trying to become a wizard Although, I suppose I would be called upon to answer questions my friends may have about their newly acquired equine form, and if they so desire, attempt to find a way to change those uncomfortable with their new body back to their human selves,
  15. tbh, I like this too... it's especially good when they scratch your head and you can't help but tilt and push into their hand... I swear, this is gonna wind up on a 4chan cringe thread or something, but hey, I might enjoy this, but at least I don't enjoy half the messed up stuff they can come up with! ....guilty.... I mean, I main Teemo and Yorick (in case anyone in the future is reading this, I mean pre-rework Yorick, when all you had to do was poke with W and E to bully your laning opponent out of all of their farm.) for goodness sake. But I'm not a total jerk; I only REALLY start going at them when they deserve it. For example, I'll shamelessly play Full AP Teemo, but I won't start using all chat until they start raging about it or start flaming someone in game... Then it's like a shark smelling blood in the water... And I have my laugh emote bound to "T" so I can spam it for the rest of the match... My record is making someone rage quit by 5 minutes, a Tryndamere that didn't understand how Blinding Dart works... *insert evil laughter here* And hey, I feel like at least I'm weeding out the toxic community when I do stuff like this and it's not like I'll target someone just for being frustrated, I'm only mean to people who are mean to others first. I'm not talking about the Lee Sin that dies to your shroom in red camp and says something like "Really, dude?" I'm talking about the people who curse and flame and carry on about how their jg should have helped them instead of securing dragon, or calling me "...trash because Teemo takes no skill, you little @#$%". I guess I'm a little sadistic, but at least I release that aggression in a way that helps a clean up a notoriously bad community, and heaven knows handing out bans doesn't work because it's too easy to just make a new account for a free to play game. So I'm NOT the only one who does this!
  16. I talk to people through messaging more often than through posting on the threads here:p
  17. I'd try and find out whatever the heck gave me the water and ask for more!
  18. Who's got 4 hooves and just scored herself a job interview?!

I really hope I get this job... It'll be more than enough to start looking for room mates and apartments with if I can land it!

    3. Monsoon

      Monsoon

I hope you do get the job

  19. Yeah... I've never really been one for shipping. I guess I feel it takes what should be a deep and meaningful emotion shared between partners and turns it into a form of entertainment, when in reality, love should be so much more than that.
  20. Out of those choices only, I'd have to go with sour gummy worms, but I must say that given the option, I almost always choose cookie dough bites :3
  21. How can I expect the heartless to understand heartache?

    1. MLS_Brony

      MLS_Brony

You must have a heart to truly understand compassion; those who are hard and calloused will never be able to extend a hand in help. You having a problem with heartache? That unfortunately is something my life has been full to the brim of ;)

    2. Hocus Pocus

      Hocus Pocus

I suppose you could say that... Although, the easiest solution for me would be to stop investing so darn much of myself into fictional characters >-<

And I sincerely hope your life's heartache is alleviated very soon DX

    3. MLS_Brony

      MLS_Brony

Well a solid fantasy life can be the difference between sanity and a straight-jacketed bedtime. Generally, as long as the fictional characters don't interfere negatively with your daily life, I say party on!

  22. I noticed you hanging around life advice a lot. And I know it's kinda strange to just randomly post this, but you're a good person for that. So many people tend to avoid drama in that place, so their postings are lmited to just seeking advice themselves, but to actively go out and seek to help the poeple who post there.... Just felt like that kinda behavior typically goes thankless or unappreciated, so I decided to just come here to say thanks!

Fallout 3, there's a key character to the story called Three Dog who instructs the Lone Wanderer to "keep up the good fight" at several points throughout the story line. :)

ah X3 I've never actually played it, but you can call me what ya want, we're all people after all

      MLS_Brony

Nah, I'm kinda partial to Hocus Pocus actually. More magical than Three Dog to say the least.

  23. When I was little, I used to see a cloaked figure in dark rooms. It would turn towards me and rush at me, but I always reached the light switch right before it reached me, and the moment the lights turned on, the figure would disappear... I always thought it was my childhood imagination getting the better of me, and that it was just me growing up when I stopped seeing it... ... That is until I realized that the moment I stopped seeing it was when we moved to a different house and my older brother described to me the same cloaked phantom he would often see in the dark that would do the same thing to him... But again, it was only in that apartment, and it stopped when we moved to a different house for him too... So while I have always been scared of the dark (as a really little kid, even before I started seeing the phantom, I just kinda was... I mean, a lot of kids are, right?), I am now scared for a different reason... because now I feel I have a hint as to what has the possibility of lurking inside...
  24. Servers have been having issues, but I like it when I can get in. I heard a rumor a while back that different wild pokemon will be region locked, and I'm curious to find out which pokemon are unique to which countries... Also a little excited because my brother is joining the navy, and he said he's considering working for the Silph Road (a Reddit organization dedicated to international pokemon transport and trade so that even people who cannot afford to travel can still catch 'em all) since he'll be traveling the seas in the navy anyway.... So that would mean I get a priority selection of rare pokemon from across the world, and yeah... I'm pretty hyped for that
  25. Why not? Worst case scenario, they butcher my OC and I just make a new one that I feel represents myself better! Gotta put that bread on the table somehow, right?
