What is this I don't even... o_O

I ended up with some pretty decent con crud, but I think it was mostly my fault. Since I don't particularly follow the 6-2-1 rule, I ended up extremely hungover and sleep-deprived every day of the con, while still working my butt off. It was only natural that I end up with a little allergy issue and suddenly a sinus infection afterwards. Almost totally better now, though!

I was staffing in the Vendors Hall/Artists' Alley, and I was involved in something when a random furry parade appeared! It was pretty awesome, even though I'm not really into the furry fandom. My favorite part was definitely hanging with all the other staff and all the awesome attendees. I was working so much that I didn't actually attend any panels, but I definitely partied a lot at night! I already miss everypony so much that it hurts. POST-CON DEPRESSION: THE STRUGGLE IS REAL HAHA I see one of your pictures of the Black Hole where I was on the couch, but I'm completely obscured by my favorite E.U.P. brigade member. Good times. :3

Holy crap, Simon, when did you even have time to buy all that? I have all my staff stuff, a con store shirt, and a really cute Rarity bag from Sugar Clay Cafe. I got a couple of pins and keychains, too. I also got a sick Twilight plush from Paul at the end of the hall, and it's my first and only pony plush.

Can you please tell that to the herniated discs in my spine? I tried, and kept lifting weights, and now I'm headed for surgery next month, while taking vicodin daily just to function/walk/sit. :'(

I want to leave the Earth's atmosphere. Whether it is guided tours of the ISS, or Virgin Space Tours, or consumer Space X trips, I don't care. I just want to see the Earth from outside, and the blackness of space, just once, with my own eyes.

I'm not plane riding, it's just a 40 minute drive from my house. And having a drink and getting into party mode is exactly what I normally do after work.

Final year at college, and you're a teenager! WOW! That's awesome. And you don't have to look inside the facility! College was where I found things that actually interested me in school for the first time in my life, but extracurricular groups and doing things on my own with online communities or offline meetups kept me going. I would also end up asking the professors of classes I particularly enjoyed the material on for extra reading or various related media so that I could partake in my own time. This is all to say, I slept through or did not attend most of my lectures, at least until the classes began to get more challenging and specialized. At that point, everyone else in the class was too busy freaking out about their GPA like me to be loud and obnoxious.

It's a bit complicated! There are just a lot of things about entering adulthood that no one really talks about, and a lot of things that can happen that are fairly bad. There's also a lot of things that I felt people expected of me as a teenager that weren't really true. For example, everyone told me I totally needed to know what I wanted to do for the rest of my life before graduating high school. Um... I'm 25, and I still don't know exactly what I want, and it would be impossible for me to say exactly! Just take your free time and enjoy it, learn everything you can, and be confident that you're a unique person who can contribute to the world! Having low self-esteem as a teen is the worst. Ugh, I hated school when I was a teenager! I know what it's like to go in and feel like everyone around you is so stupid and petty. Just focus on the things that you like (for example, interests in science, or writing, or music, or whatever!) and devote yourself to them! Relax... when you're done with school, none of the people you go to school with will matter at all.

If you're not being hateful about it, then I don't see why it would be a problem. It's not like it's a learned or forced reaction. It's always good to question why you feel a particular way about something though, so that you can evaluate why you do what you do. I think that just by questioning whether your reaction to an accent is racist, you are being more awesome than most.
