  1. I sadly am not, and I'm depressed af about it because Ive hoped I'd get a chance to attend one while they lasted.
  2. They're a Noise Rock band from Rhode Island, US. They're brutal.
  3. I like p much everything that catches my ear, but I’m way into Noise Rock, Shoegaze, New Wave, 90’s rave, Shibuya-kei and any genre associated with those styles. Who’s your favorite Noise Rock group?
  4. Honestly I would. It's give the animators a chance to improve the first film's animation style and maybe make it a bit less....cliche.
  5. Sticking in one place was sort of my intention. I didn't want the album to be too eventful or eclectic(per track anyway) as it would've killed a lot of the lethargic, soundtrack approach. I just found a few samples and ran with a foundation that I could sleep to with the exception of "Loyalty". Ironically, this album is the most pop-ish album I've made so far. I was going for music along the lines of Ambient Techno, Drone, Downtempo, Dream Pop and Hypnagogic Pop
  6. What I was aiming for was to place the listener in this story and let them interpret the music themselves, which consisted of simple atmosphere, all over the place because I wanted a somewhat different tone for each character theme. The only constant I aimed for was a looming sense of melancholy, as the album itself was meant to be bittersweet. Its undertones are very personal and follow a theme that’s common in most of my other music, but here I just wanted to make a soundtrack of sorts for a story you pice together yourself. The only things I’m trying to let the listener know is that they’re in Equestria too meet ponies and that the ending isn’t 100% happy
  7. This song by Post Punk band This Heat, titled "Radio Prague". It's the type of music I've always been trying to make myself, and I love the constant thumping with the on/off radio. This particular video has it so the song leads into "Makeshift Swahili", the song that follows "Radio Prague" in the album Deceit.
  8. I'm trying to find a place to download his song "City of Royals", but I can't find it. Anybody know where I could?
  9. Ayyyy my 100th content thingy I released the debut album of my brony music project Ambient Beat. It's essentially a concept album about the listener spending 24 hours in Equestria with each of the Mane 6 and then leaving, each song being instrumental to give the listener more freedom over their own interpretation of the events. It's also the moodiest album I've made so far, having a constant bittersweet tone to it. The album is Ambient Techno but has heavy Chillwave and Disco influences. https://1977goingon1987ladreams.bandcamp.com/album/ambient-beat
  10. This episode was actually really good. The first episode in a while that actually gave me the feels.
  11. Twilight Sparkle. I mean, if I were in trouble, I feel Twilight would be the appropriate one to turn to
  12. I have a new fanfic uploaded in Fimfiction. My first SFW one. I need reviews and opinions, but first I'll put in some context. My Little Pony: Once in A Lifetime is a fanfiction I wrote back in 2012 as an upper after I had to move to Washington from Los Angeles. I wrote it to kind of be a twist to MLP IRL fics, but ironically, it ended up being just like the usual IRL stories. It was going to be a trilogy. I never finished it. The next year, however, after I started binge watching shows like Skins and Life on Mars, I became inspired and started working on a web series remake of my fic, which ultimately became an EXTREMELY updated reboot written fic, Runaway, Houses, City, Clouds. While Once in A Lifetime was a bit dry and behind the times, but SFW, Runaway is almost completely different, with the characters' personalities amped up and some of their roles changed, extremely NSFW content and humor(I counted 99 uses of the F-word in chapter 1 alone, and I'm yet to count the uses of other swear words), a deeper story and a load of pop culture references. While episode 3 of Runaway is in development hell, I decided to unshelf Once and actually finish it, giving it the ending I would have wanted to give it back in 2012, fix some grammar errors, and upload it online. Parts 1 and 2 are on Fimfiction, so feedback is greatly appreciated. Fun fact: It is not named after the Talking Heads song, but I decided to adopt the song reference after I started getting into the tune. Just wanted to get that out there https://www.fimfiction.net/story/309963/my-little-pony-once-in-a-lifetime
  13. 28 Pranks Later. 28 PRANKS LATER. They werent even subtle with that one.
  14. Seattle, or Whidbey Island. The suburban parts of LA could get some attention for once as well
  15. I can guarantee it's going to be darker, given the state the movie's going to be in. I wouldnt be surprised ifthe movie had a body count to be honest

  17. -Twilight was there because the map knew she would know the purpose of the potion, while Rarity's role was to be Shooting Star's foil, and Rarity's personality reveals Shooting's psyche, thus giving more hints on Pisces' personality. -The potion, in my opinion, could resemble alcoholism, and how it affects peoples' lives, even those who dont drink it. She's addicted to it, and she drinks it because she feels it solves all her problems, in which Pisces could symbolize the effects. -Yes, the Pisces name is a little bonus for those who know their signs. The sign is also said to go out of their way to help somebody with a problem. Good catch -Being a manifestation made by Shooting Star's mind from the potion, he has the ability to do whatever he can to keep Shooting Star comfortable, since the potion is based off wishes. -The love thing where Pisces is rejected will totally be in greater detail when I write the story. It is important to know that Pisces is a product of Shooting Star's desires, so his love for her hints that she felt love as well, but she rejected him, not only because he almost completely ruined her life, but because she knows he's just there to pander to her and that the emotions are hers, and since she already learned her lesson, she no longer needs him. It's complicated, there will be subtle hints that suggest more about this connection though. -Shooting Star returns to Manehatten because she ran away from her parents, who she knows are worried sick about her. She couldnt stay in Applewood since Pisces provided her with housing, and she isnt able to afford the living costs of Applewood. Hope that helped, and I'd be happy to answer any more questions I'm gonna be honest, the potion's resemblance to a drug was sorta unintentional. But it adds symbolism to the story, so I find it alright.
  18. I'm in the process of writing a My Little Pony episode. Sadly, it's not gonna become an actual episode of course, but I'm writing one anyway, for a couple reasons: one, cause I've always wanted to be a guest writer and director of an MLP episode, and two, I wanted to see if I can actually write an episode that wouldn't be out of focus of a typical MLP episode. Its working title is "Beautiful Ones", named after the Suede song. The "episode" is super hard to write, since my stories are usually dark, blunt and adult-oriented and I've never written a child friendly story before. So far I only have an outline of what's going to happen in my episode, since I'm intending to make it suitable for MLP while keeping my signature style and themes. Like most of my stories, the episode makes an extreme amount of references that are intended for followers of certain subjects. It also focuses on lost philosophy, and extra focus on music and aspects of psychological horror. The big, important parts of the story will be told. Spoilers warning, in case I decide to make this into a fanfiction instead. So, the Equestria map sends Twilight Sparkle and Rarity to Applewood, where they are led to a club and meet Shooting Star, a wannabe filmmaker with a collection of unopened film. While things seem nice at first, Twilight and Rarity find out she's addicted to a potion supplied by a pony who calls himself Pisces. She also seems to have a lost connection with her family back in Manehatten, and she has trouble finding a purpose in her work. Shooting Star begins having trouble with the other film crewmembers, and the club locks them in. While trying to find a way out the ponies start getting trapped in the blank film, one by one. As Twilight, Rarity and the slowly diminishing film crew try to piece together what's going on, Twilight realizes that she must investigate the potion Shooting Star is addicted to. When Twilight tries finding the contents of the potion, Shooting Star finds out and Pisces begins hunting her down. Pisces attempts to send Twilight into the film, but her defensive magic keeps her from succumbing. She successfully brings Pisces down, and pressures him into answering questions. It is revealed that Pisces has feelings for Shooting Star and is willing to do anything to keep her happy, placing all that pains her in film. After pressuring him more, Pisces accidentally reveals the nature of the potion. After a while, Twilight, Rarity, Shooting Star, Pisces, the movie director and two camera ponies are left. Twilight finds and gives the surviving camera ponies a film canister containing Shooting Star's lost memories. The film reveals that Shooting Star, during a walk through town a couple months before, stumbled across a potion shop, where she was drawn to a potion that heightens the imagination of the drinker and brings to life a manifestation that panders to their greatest desires. Shooting Star decided to take the potion and thus came Pisces. Pisces, who materialized in Applewood, worked to get film equipment and sent Shooting Star a letter for her to go make a movie. She ran away from home to get to Applewood. Once she got there, however, she became homesick and regretted leaving, so she asked Pisces to remove her memories of her parents. After more problems ensued, she asked Pisces to take care of them. But she never knew how he took care of her problems. Turns out, Pisces sent everypony and object that threatened her into film, in which he gifted to Shooting Star. Shooting Star, after watching the film, gets the realization that everything that happened was her fault, and she throws the potion away. Pisces, slowly fading back into Shooting Star's mind, admits his love for her, where she rejects him. After everypony is brought back, Shooting Star learns that some problems only she can fix. The episode ends with Twilight and Rarity returning to Ponyville and Shooting Star returning to Manehatten to find her parents. The episode is filled with symbolism and foreshadowing that most won't get in the first viewing. Along with different interpretations of the episode's lesson. There are many easy to miss clues that reveal more about Pisces' personality. There are also some symbols that apply to real life, like all of Shooting Star's problems being trapped in film; other than it being film because that's her passion, but it's also film because it points out how many artists put interpretations of their own problems in their work. The episode has many lessons, depending on the mindset you have while watching it. It could be that it's "you that must solve your life problems", or that lhappiness without sadness isn't true happiness"(you're thinking Inside Out, I was thinking Vanilla Sky when writing this), or to "be careful on how you follow your desires", or similarly, "be careful what you wish for". After writing the main points I started seeing it as being an allegory for alcoholism(this was unintentional). Also keep in mind the episode isn't as depressing as the plot lets on. It's gonna have the usual MLP humor, at least my own take on MLP humor. What I want is opinions on the story, whether it's good or not, cause I might release it as a fanfic rather than keep it locked up for a scenario that won't happen.
  19. Honestly, I freaked out when I found out Emily Blunt----EMILY BLUNT----will be in this movie. No words can describe how surprised I am that the studio scored somebody like her to be in the movie.
  20. Im not that good at guitar but I can do my best. Same with singing.
  21. Thank you for the feedback. However I must point out a couple things. They may not excuse my mistakes but they give them some context. Twilight Rainbow, is a satire that teases the absurd darkness of mary sue OC stories. IT started out as a brief bio or laughs, but I eventually decided to make it a full fledged story to see how absurd I could get. The result is basically a novelty item I made just to amuse. And the social commentary was worse in the original version, which Fimfiction wouldnt let me publish so it's on Fanfiction instead. My other fic is a different story altogether. I have written a couple stories in the past, but I never worked on anything like Runaway. One thing about it is that is a deconstruction of dramas, mostly ponies irl dramas, like My Little Dashie. A lot of the cliches are intentional, which is why the dead parent subject was mixed with dark humor. I am trying to make the next chapter more readable not only in terms of the advice I've been getting, but in terms of subject matter, because the extreme blue humor I've been using, in my opinion, makes it look undesirable.
