  1. Who will have a map episode together later this season, making the pairings a bit bad.
  2. 99.1% sure it won't, almost as sure that it won't be mentioned in the finale either.
  3. Too soon, and from what I know about the season finale, it doesn't seem like there's space for it.
  4. I think it was just an art upgrade. Although this discussion reminds me of Order of the Stick.
  5. Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?, The Crystal Empire and The Cutie Map comes to my mind.
  6. I assume the second part of season 5 was actually supposed to start airing this week instead of two months ago, since Scare Master would then have been on Halloween in its original spot. I'll put it back in its original spot after it airs tomorrow. While its weird that we get a Christmas episode and then a Halloween episode, I don't really mind, since if it had to make sense, we wouldn't have had ponies the past two months.
  7. I like Shining Armor, he's just never had the opportunity to shine (pun not intended) in an episode. I'd love to see him having a center role in an episode sometime.
  8. She seemed way more shy than Fluttershy ever was. Can't pick between Pinkie, Maud and Marble. Leaning towards Maud because I love her deadpan humor, but it feels weird not to pick Pinkie. Marble is just adorbs.
  9. Well, a book isn't just a book. There's many different types of books. If somebody told Twilight they didn't want a book, she'd probably just try to find a different book that she think they might like.
  10. I don't remember Pinkie Pride having any pacing issues. MMC and CotLM did have a rather fast pace, but the fact that they were musicals were the only reason they were able to convincingly cover the big emotional beats needed within 22 minutes. I think the songs do a good job of that.
  11. Really don't want her to be named Skyla, for one thing. Considering that the toy is pretty old, I wouldn't think they'd revive it like that. Also, it could be a guy. Just saying. Can't think of a domain on the top of my head. Sun and moon is a pair, and so is friendship and love. Could inspiration be a domain? Although I guess Twi and Cadence already "inspire" friendship and love in others.
  12. Both are genuine and believable, don't see any reason why one would be more genuine or believable than the other. I find Raritybell more interesting and fun, but considering how family-based the Apple family is, Jackbloom probably has a stronger relationship.
  13. Out of the 19 episodes so far this season, four of them has had a song in it, one has had multiple. The Cutie Map - Part 1, Castle Sweet Castle, Tanks for the Memories, Canterlot Boutique and Crusaders of the Lost Mark. You could argue Brotherhooves Social had a song, but eh.
  14. I didn't think so. She almost spilled it more than once. Also, her reactions and expressions? I don't even know what it means to predict that.
  15. I know, which is why I emphasize intent. And I argue that Starlight does not have truly evil intent. Evil is consciously causing others harm.
  16. What does this even mean? The secret was told instantly, what's left to predict? Whether Pinkie would be able to keep the secret or not?
  17. Well, she has to grow up first. Which likely won't happen, unless the show miraculously will still be running ten years from now
  18. You were, but your argument was that since they were aimed at children, you didn't care much for them, but the series itself is also aimed at children. So the same argument should logically apply there.
  19. She certainly has a something-something quality to her, although going by the dictionary definition of sinister (having an evil appearance : looking likely to cause something bad, harmful, or dangerous to happen), I don't think it's the right word to describe her.
  20. Seems like an odd argument to make. So you don't care much about the show in general either?
  21. I think she genuinely believed what she was doing was the right thing to create harmony. Interested to see how she's going to screw with time in the finale though (based on what Twilight said at the end of Friendship Games).
  22. Yes, one musical episode each season is definitely a thing. I like them quite a bit.
