  1. Thanks @DubWolf (Now all I have to do is learn how to take a decent picture of it!) lol
  2. Alice in Wonderland (1951). Not my favorite Disney animated film by a long shot, but I really enjoyed it this time, flaws and all. Nice animation and all-around fun. 7/10 Oblivion (2013). I always loved this movie because I have a thing for dystopian stories, and this one scores on all counts. It has originality and plenty of fun surprises. It did have a fairly pivotal and unnecessary plot discrepancy that could have been alleviated by a simple alternate take, but was overlooked. That didn’t help, considering the finale was based on it. But for all its other positives, I give this one an 8.5/10 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) Great movie from Disney’s golden age of live action. A strong cast makes this retelling of the story entertaining and captures a lot of that Disney magic, from the days when Disney actually had real magic. 8.5/10 Princess and the Frog (2009) This movie is a perfect example of why Disney should keep making 2D animated features. They art of animation here is so rich and full of character it really is a waste of a great art form to simply dismiss it for CG. There’s room for more than one art medium in this world and Disney should know that better than anyone. But alas, they’re dummies. 7/10
  3. This is such an easy one. Beauty and the Beast (1991) one of my all-time favorites.
  4. Today's happy moment: I was helping my mom clean out her storage unit and we stumbled across some very old baby clothes from when my sibs and I were just wee ones. They brought back good old memories and I loved the styles from back in the day. There was even some older stuff, like a dress that used to belong to my grandma, that my mom trimmed way down and altered for me when I was little. It was all very nostalgic and happy.
  5. Some people have more than one middle name. I'm not saying that applies to me...not sayin' it doesn't either.
  6. I had a croissant sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese. It was profoundly satisfactory.
  7. I remember Blockbuster and Hollywood, as far as chain businesses go, and lots of smaller, independent ones. I like the more obscure ones because they specialized in unusual and rare titles, but I don’t remember what they were called anymore. It’s been a long time. West Coast and Suncoast were great mostly because they had tons of movie collectibles and toys as well as movies.
  8. I don't know if my favored aesthetic applies to fashion in any way. My clothing style tends toward being retro '80s style with a sprinkling of late '70s. In other words, I like shoulder pads, puffed sleeves, dresses with the hem below the knee, and boots. All in bright colors. An aesthetic that I love is retro-futurism. It’s the kind of futuristic style that people used to dream about back in the ‘60s, when there was still an optimistic hope for things to come. Here are some examples: And here, as it applies to fashion: I also like Arte Deco design because it’s timeless, stylish, civilized and artistic. I’m not sure if that fits the guidelines according to the OP, but there it is, just in case.
  9. As it turned out, there were only three episodes! I don’t know if there’s going to be more, and I assume there will be, but I don’t know when. You’ve really got me interested in what happens, although it sounds like I can expect some troubling times ahead if it continues.
  10. Well, let’s say it’s technically Disney. Meaning that Disney has their logo waaaaaaay down at the bottom of the credits and likely only contributes as far as injecting their politics into it, but very little else.
  11. Dan Da Dan (2025) This is the most insane, eccentric anime series I’ve ever seen. It’s funny, witty, sarcastic and weird. I just don’t know how to classify it cuz it can’t be classified. I’m just glad it’s got another season coming in July! Blue Box (2025) Just started this one, about a guy and a girl, both into sports. Simple enough, and then comes the layers of romantic craziness. So far, so good, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (2025) I took a peek at this and it grabbed my attention. Now I might just have to watch the whole series. It looks pretty good, with some obvious inspiration from Kick-Ass, which is a good thing. Can’t wait to see where it goes.
  12. Heroes: Condorman, Superman, Mr. Incredible. Hit Girl. Villains: Syndrome, Two-Face. Terra (hero or villain is blurry).
  13. Here Comes Peter Cottontail, The First Easter Rabbit, The Easter Bunny is Comin’ to Town, Hop, Bun Bun (a short film, pitch black comedy).
  14. Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, Tangled: The Series, The Little Mermaid (series), Lilo and Stitch (series), Hercules (series), Sofia the First, Miraculous Ladybug, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: Bad Batch, The Lion Guard, Miles From Tomorrowland, Hotel Transylvania (series),
  15. Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Beauty and the Beast (1991), Tangled, Your Name, The Incredibles, Far and Away, Aliens, North By Northwest.
  16. A Working Man (2025) Another Jasan Statham actioner. Pretty much the same template as all his recent movies…and not so recent ones. The badguys are the scum of the earth and all deserved what they got. Sometimes their badness was funny because it was so over the top. Anyway, diverting enough action junk. 6/10 Novocain (2025) More junk, but comical in its cruddiness. I can’t give it a glittering review cuz all modern films have to go through the Hollywood checklist to get released, and that’s the death of art, even low art. So it gets a qualified pass. 6/10 Electric State (2025) *Spoilers ahead* A fun idea for a movie, with a playful re-writing of history to show an alternate reality of what might have been if robots had come into being and been integrated into society generations ago. The plot was easy and the characters were likeable. The whole thing rolled along very nicely but it lost steam toward the end. Like most movies these days it got bogged down by way too much sentiment at the finale of the movie. When it was supposed to be building momentum it slowed down instead, and as a result, it disappointed. 5/10
  17. I guess I’d have to go with: The Mario Party games; they’re just light. Easy fun with lots of variety and cute characters. Star Wars Episode 1 Racer; my favorite racing game ever. Good selection of Podracers and pilots, with lots of fun courses. Star Wars Starfighter; Perfect combat game with a variety of nice settings and intuitive controls. Dying Light; the first game of the series is simple, non-linear and fun. You can just free-roam or take your pick of many specific quests. It’s easy and relaxing if you enjoy whacking zombies.
  18. I like Cobra Kai, Drifting Dragons and Stranger Things, although I think the lattermost is going downhill. I like a lot of stuff on Netflix but I’m not sure they’re exclusive to it, so the aforementioned are all that I know offhand.
  19. Star Wars, Indiana Jones (non-Disney), vintage Disney parks and Imagineering, art, ballet, Japanese culture, good anime, Barbie (not the live-action). I get all stupid when it comes to some of this stuff. It's so fine.
  20. Keep some distance from it. I used to care for an assortment of miniature horses as part of a summer job and even though they were smaller than full-sized horses, they could be nasty. If one ever got out of its pen I was the lucky minimum-wage grunt who had to somehow wrangle the vile little beast back into it. This usually resulted in a good kick from the horse in question, usually somewhere on my legs, before I would limp back to the rest of my duties. Usually after receiving a good kick I would say, “Fare thee well, horse-out-of-hell, you have been emancipated!” and leave the task to someone who was getting paid better, and whose job description included babysitting unruly four-legged abominations. Hooves are hard and they don’t feel good when applied with velocity to one’s person. They can bite pretty good too.
  21. Honestly it does nothing for me. I don’t see what the big deal is; it’s just acute recording of various sounds, and none of them relaxing, arousing or even vaguely interesting. Nothing to work with there.
  22. Or maybe I should watch MORE of them!
  23. Well, I don't have any pony art here, but here's a few paintings and a sculpture. The topmost is my most recent so I thought I'd toss it in. The second one is an illustration for a story I came up with a while back. The third is another character from that same story (I had to borrow Jennifer Connelly's gown). And the last one is my sculpture of Gadget Hackwrench.
  24. I do not have either. I had a job once where I had to care for miniature horses, and I didn’t care for it. They were naughty; often stealing my handkerchief from my pocket and running around until I got tired of chasing them, and sometimes they would bite and kick. I guess I’m not really an animal person. I like them from a distance, or when other people are tending them, but I don’t want one for my own.
