There are quite a few great characters, but I wouldn’t call all of them ‘heroes.’ So, narrowing it down to specific heroic content I’ll toss out just a few here: Beast (overcame his own flaws and made the ultimate sacrifice), Bernard (Hey, he’s just a janitor, and a mouse, but he really steps up!) Copper (Stepped in front of a shotgun to shield his pal), Bambi (He faced a lot of hardship and dealt with Ronno, very gutsy), Flynn Ryder (Willing to die to keep Rapunzel from a life of captivity), Woody (This is a toy you can really count on, no matter what).

mega thread Last Movie You Watched?
Dreambiscuit replied to GrooveBroove's topic in Media Discussion
Karate Kid Legends (2025) SPOILERS AHEAD. Solid, entertaining installment to the series. The characters were likeable and the story was to the point. It was predictable and very bare-bones, but that’s a lot better than some of the bloated movies out there. Considering Daniel LaRusso was returning to his New york origins for the first time in the entire series, it seems there could have been more story built up around that, but again, no big deal. The fighting scenes were fast and pretty cool, and despite the absence of rules in some of the ‘sports’ in this movie, it was still enjoyable. A cameo at the end also made for a very entertaining touch. 7.5/10 Minecraft (2025) I was surprised that this was a good as it was. I liked it. The cast was a lot of fun and the plot wasn’t overly ambitious at the cost of enjoyability. Jack Black is so crazy, he reminds me of Cjrist Farley in this movie, and I have no problem with that. There are a few comedic touches that pushed the boundaries of good taste and appropriate content, but overall I had fun watching this movie. 7/10 Ice Road 2: Road t the Sky/Vengeance (2025) The first Ice Road movie was just another toss off actioner from Liam Neeson’s growing collection. But this sequel was something special, meaning it was SO BAD that I almost died laughing while watching it. I can let some things go in the name of suspension of disbelief, but this movie was a masterpiece of inept filmmaking second to none. I loved it, I hated it, and I’m gonna give it some credit just for the laughs. 1/10 The Accountant 2 (2025) Started out okay, just like the previous Accountant movie, but it likewise descended into self-appreciating stupidity so bad that plot, character development and logic was simply discarded after a while. It wasn’t cute, funny or clever, no matter what its creators may have thought. 2/10 K-Pop Demon Hunters (2025) This was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t think the animation style was going to cut it, but the humor and characters were all solid. Very fun movie! 7.5/10 -
My absolute favorite is Disneyland, in California. But I'm massively biased. I love all the Disney parks but the original is still the best in my opinion. Though sadly, it's going downhill in a hurry.

I use credit cards almost exclusively. I have no problem with cash, but my credit cards have reward points programs that give me bonuses and discounts, so why not get something extra for no extra cost? Cards are also convenient and less bulky. Most importantly, my go-to card has Tinkerbell on it.

In real life I've had lots of nicknames but the ones that tend to stick the most are "Lady Katie Idiot,' 'KayJay' and 'Glue.' On the forums I don't give anything too elaborate as nicknames; just mild variations on my friends' user names or real names.

Thanks Travs, I may even let you lick the wrappers. -
Since sanity can be a relative term (in fact it applies to most of my relatives ), the best I could say is that insanity is chaos beyond rational control.

I used to work out at the gym a couple times a week, doing light weights (for tone, not muscle), aerobics and cardio. My favorite cardio was the elliptical machine, which was great for legs, arms and pretty much everything. 30-60 minutes once or twice a week really gave some good results. I don’t do much of that anymore because I overdid a lot of my exercise routines and caused more harm than good, so now I have a very simple, but effective, system of a treadmill with incline for 60-90 minutes at 2.7 mph every day or alternating days, and an ab cruncher for whenever I pass by my exercise room (usually good for 100 reps in groups of 20, on alternating days), and a sensible (starvation) diet. I don’t even go too crazy on healthy foods, just regular stuff for the most part to be honest.

Lately I’ve been on a brutal diet, so I haven’t been eating much of anything. I let myself indulge once in a while just to remind myself I’m still alive, but otherwise it’s been pretty lean, like the equivalent of one average-sized meal a day. Once I reach my weight goal, I’ll return to being a piggy again.

general What was in your mailbox today?
Dreambiscuit replied to Dreambiscuit's topic in General Discussion
I accidentally opened up a packet that was addressed to someone else in my family; it was a boring little lawn mower part. Next time I open someone else’s mail, I hope it’s something better, seriously. -
Do the badges actually intimidate people?
Dreambiscuit replied to Nightfall's topic in General Discussion
The only badges that bother me are the ones worn by those guys who pull me over and tell me to stop speeding. I can go as fast as I want here. I may not get anywhere, but I can do so at incredible speeds. -
Mostly my regrets are matters of not doing things earlier in my life, but since I managed some of the basics at a later age I can’t exactly complain, I just got there late. But for the sake of bitching, of which I am a huge advocate, let’s drudge up some smelly ones. I regret: Not learning a foreign language and a musical instrument when I was young and my brain was more absorbent. Dropping or delaying certain projects or goals due to the misperception they were creatively, intellectually or logistically pointless. Not standing my ground when others discouraged me from pursuing life goals. There could have been a middle ground, and I should have fought for that simple balance. Going to a worthless travel agent to arrange a trip to Japan. They screwed up and it cost me everything. Most of all, I regret that I’m not indulging in a s’mores mini bundt cake that’s calling to me from the kitchen right now. But perhaps it’s not too late to rectify this situation.

What is the worst school trip you went on?
Dreambiscuit replied to Reecejackox's topic in General Discussion
I almost never went on any school trips. My parents were worriers who never let me go very far unless they were there with me in person. So when other kids went on field trips I got the day off. Not a bad trade-off actually, considering they rarely went anywhere very interesting. The only time I can remember going on a school ‘trip’ was to a local city park, and that’s because my mom came along. That trip was neither positive nor negative; it was just a trip to the silly park. Not even sure why they bothered. -
What Is Your Favorite Card In The Deck
Dreambiscuit replied to Snow Frostflame's topic in General Discussion
The Joker I guess. Since most other cards are relatively similar, I’d want to go with something colorful, and the face cards lack the comical stupidy that so accurately represents me. -
*Another body image ?* What do you guys think of thigh gaps?
Dreambiscuit replied to KatieBelle's topic in General Discussion
It’s just a matter of natural shape; some girls have it and some don’t, to various degrees. I don’t think of it as a game changer or even a matter of the slightest importance. Each body has nuances of one sort or another and a thigh gap is just one of many. I’ve seen many well-proportioned legs with no particular gap at all and it looks just as good. Genetics, personal activity and exercise all play a role, but going to extremes to attain something that isn’t particularly feminine or un-feminine is pointless in my opinion. Everyone has their own unique shape, do the best with what you’ve got and don’t sweat over some over-analyzed perception of beauty, which varies according to every opinion anyway.- 47 replies

My trip to Penrith.
Dreambiscuit commented on TheRockARooster's blog entry in The Chronicles Of Rooster
You guys are driving on the wrong side of the road...which incidentally is the same side of the road I often drive on. But in my case I'm the only one doing it. For Heaven's sake gimme a Krispy Kreme! -
How to escape your box of deppresion
Dreambiscuit replied to fnaf kind of pony's topic in General Discussion
Depression can be beaten, but not by wallowing in the darkness and refusing to make an effort to escape it. Okay, depression can cause fatigue, which diminishes the impetus to take the steps needed to escape. But think proactively; avoid the trap of self-pity because it forces you to relive causes of pain and suffering under the guise of gratification and self-sympathy, and drags you down further. You need a plan; give yourself a goal that sparks your interest, set tasks for yourself to reach that goal, and give yourself rewards for each success along the way toward achieving that end. It also helps to change your surroundings and keep things fresh. Daylight releases endorphins on the brain, and so does exercise, which can have additional benefits. If you have family or friends who can help, enjoy their positive company. If you need medication to overcome something pathological, or therapy for something psychological, get to a doctor for consultation and treatment. But don’t wait, get it done and get on with living your life, even if it’s just one step at a time. -
If you were a pony, what cuttie mark would you have?
Dreambiscuit replied to Gamer98's topic in General Discussion
My avatar/OC represents me as a pony, and it has a cutie mark of a crescent moon with a pillow propped up against it. If I were to apply one with greater accuracy to my human personality, I’d have a painter’s palette with a paintbrush and a quill pen criss-crossed over it, to represent my creative side. -
What would you do for your special someone?
Dreambiscuit replied to Lunar Echo's topic in General Discussion
This question has a slight flaw in it. If I was meeting my special someone for the first time they’re not really my ‘special someone’ yet, but rather, a complete stranger. It would be a first date and I’d have to get to know them from scratch before I could make a customized effort catering to their interests and any personal chemistry involved. If I already know someone I can do a great many nice things, based on their interests. My go-to in most situations is to take them to Disneyland or other theme park. In my limited experience it’s a great way to be with someone, learn their interests, personality, tastes, tolerance levels and sense of fun. It’s casual, but can also be romantic, adventurous or just plain silly. It covers all the bases.- 56 replies

general What do you do in your sleep?
Dreambiscuit replied to KiraTakahashi's topic in General Discussion
It would seem that over the years I’ve become a snorer. Yeah, and pretty loud I’m told. A little bit of talking in my sleep too, but not often. One thing that’s kind of weird is that I have occasional hallucinations, for lack of a more fitting term, usually of my mom grabbing my feet and telling me to wake up. I can hear her clearly and feel her grabbing my feet, but she isn’t there. That happens more often than it probably should I think. And no, my apartment is not haunted, but thanks for asking. -
What device do you normally use to access the forums?
Dreambiscuit replied to Iridescent Edge's topic in General Discussion
I use the same old clunky laptop I’ve always used. It has its limitations but it does the basics as long as I don’t get too ambitious with it. I don’t like to use a phone for internet stuff, or anything for that matter.
