  1. Fluttershy would hide under the bed and try to think happy thoughts about butterflies and rainbows. Pinkie would bounce along, eat cupcakes and continue unfazed as though nothing ever happened. Twilight would analyze it and correct any misspellings and plot anomalies, taking a critical but level-headed stance on it; finding the cause and effects of the dark aspects and working toward a constructive solution. Rarity would be appalled by such a portrayal of her, and would seek litigation for defamation of character. Rainbow would find it all awesome. Applejack would yawn, use a hard copy of the fanfic to prop up a wobbly table leg and then take a nap.
  2. I have: 3 Rarities, 3 Pinkie Pies, 3 Twilights, 3 Fluttershys, 1 rainbow dash, 1 Applejack. I may have overlooked one or two here or there, but that’s the tally as far as I can determine at the moment.
  3. Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs. Do the Barbie shows, like Life in the Dreamhouse, count? If so, I’ll definitely add them!
  4. Fluttershy, Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack. I’m rating this on cuteness alone. I think Rarity is the most beautiful, but beauty and cuteness aren’t necessarily the same thing.
  5. Considering that almost all of the villain characters from G4 ended up reformed, I think it might be interesting to see a former baddie as a main character. You’d never really know what they might be thinking, and the shadows of their past would always keep us guessing. For example, Diamond Tiara would be fun. She can be reformed but still has that attitude to make her a very compelling character. I’d love to see Cozy Glow, but she never reformed so that might be a bit of a stretch. I would also like to see Marble Pie make a bigger splash, and of course Derpy (the original version, before they changed her voice). She had the potential to become a far more major character until Hasbro caved to pointless pressure and buried her. If she was a Mane 6 pony I’d be glued to my screen.
  6. My car probably. I’ve seen Smart cars ponified before and they look really cute, so I could see my little Smartie all ponied-up. That would be nice.
  7. I’d live in the Castle of the Two Sisters. Granted I’d have to tidy the place up a little first, but I like the location, and the architecture is nice.
  8. I just finished Blue Box: Pretty good all the way through. But as is often the case, it left the ending ambiguous as though they didn’t know whether or not they’d be green-lit for another season. In my opinion, every series should have a solid ending and not leave anything hanging in the vague hope of getting another season. Nothing gets resolved that way and all too often results in great series’ ending without a resolution. If they get a shot to continue the story, they should come up with a new storyline rather than drag out the same stuff until it grows stale.
  9. I feel a little sheepish, but I’ve never seen Sailor Moon. I’d like to because it looks like such a lot of fun, but I never got around to it. I usually avoid the more popular animes, but I did dip a toe into My Hero Acedamia: Vigilantes, and loved it. So maybe I’d better get my head in the game.
  10. From the list provided in the OP I’m surprised there are so few I’ve actually seen. So from that list my favorite would be MLP. Aside from the list I would add: Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, Tangled: The Series, The Little Mermaid (series), Monsters vs Aliens (series). That’s my shorter list.
  11. While there are many shows I might have LOVED to see return, my honest answer here would be to bring back NONE of them. The few shows I’ve cared about that came back years (or even decades) later have been disappointments. Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Mission: Impossible (later TV version), The Prisoner, Twilight Zone and too many more to list were just terrible, even heartbreaking when they returned in one form or another. So as much as I would love to see my favorite shows come back, I can’t bear to see them come back as the awful crap I typically see. One criteria for writers of revamped shows should be watching at least one episode of the original series in question, and not tossing out everything but the title and selling it on that alone. Do it right or don’t do it at all.
  12. I’ve recently added another to my original list, and that’s Dan Da Dan. It’s the most eccentric mess I’ve ever seen and addictive as can be. I can’t wait for the new episodes coming this summer.
  13. Nope, I don’t watch him and never have. I don’t watch much TV of that type at all. Someone once told me a method for calming a crying baby, and that info supposedly came from Dr. Phil, but it was second-hand info and that’s as close as I ever got.
  14. Passion of the Christ (2004) Powerful and beautifully told, with good direction and performances. Hard to watch because of the intense and painful subject matter, but beautiful in relating the ultimate message. 10/10 The Great Train Robbery (1903) It’s just a 12 minute movie so I don’t even know if it counts as a movie, but that’s how it’s often categorized so I’ll run with it. For one of the earliest films it actually holds up pretty well. I’m not saying it’s perfect but it does manage to tell a story in a short time and even throw in some decent camera work here and there. The hand-tinted frames add an interesting bonus to the production. 6/10 Field of Dreams (1989) Overall a pretty good movie. It’s best when it sticks to the subject of baseball without deviating into realms of politics. I think it’s amusing and absurd when they typically caricature anyone who doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the hippy stylings of the ‘60s as clueless imbeciles who can’t wrap their minds around the ‘wisdom’ of human degeneration. But aside from that, the story is strong and has some good dialog, especially James Earl Jones’ speech about baseball, which kind of renders the film’s own aforementioned philosophies moot. It’s nice to see Burt Lancaster making an appearance too. 7/10
  15. Down Goes Hollywood is interesting and has something to say. That's what makes a good name memorable, at least to me.
  16. I’ve always minimized use of my phone. I never even wanted a phone at all except for use in emergencies, but alas, the world seems to require apps for everything now so I had no choice but to play their game. But I’ve never changed the fact that I watch movies on my TV, from dvds or in some regrettable cases, streaming services over a Fire TV stick. I don’t play games, but if I did, it would be on my old PS4 console. Aside from MLP Forums I don’t have social media and most basic stuff like checking email is done on my laptop. Most times my phone remains turned off. I don’t like phones and I minimize use of it as much as possible.
  17. I trimmed my hair about five weeks ago, so maybe I’ll give it another trim in another week, maybe two.
  18. I saw my sister. She’s staying at my apartment for a few days and I saw her before she went to bed a little while ago.
  19. To be honest I haven’t been to Universal since I was very little. And most of the really cool stuff was added since then. I’d love to comment but my knowledge is limited to Youtube videos. I always go to the Disney parks instead, although I should expand; there are plenty of reasons to do so.
  20. I have so many lighting novelties at home! They include a string of blue fairy lights around my desk, a set of colored motion activated lights in my bedroom, a toilet light (yes, you heard correctly, and I got the idea right here on the forums!) I have colored lighting pole (like the one @Snow posted a pic of), a lava lamp (purple with white wax), four neon decorations (Moon, Saturn, Cross and Soda sign), and a planetarium with assorted discs. Atmospheric lighting is so important to a contented frame of mind. I also have an ‘auxiliary’ Christmas tree which is compact so I put up intermittently from August to March. You just can’t beat Christmas lights.
  21. I had a dream in which I was sitting in the cab of a large truck, in the passenger seat, with a girl (about 7 years old) in the drivers’ seat, stopped at an intersection and watching a parade go by. In the dream, inspired by the parade, I started singing ‘Prince Ali’ with great enthusiasm, imitating Robin Williams flawlessly (within the limits of my feminine vocal cords). I was quite proud of myself but the girl I was sitting with was patently unimpressed. That left me a bit crestfallen, but I guess that’s how it goes. I’d better dream up a more appreciative audience next time.
  22. I bought a Jasmine plant a few weeks ago and miraculously it’s still alive and even sprouting flowers. Maybe the fact that I more or less stay out of its way has given it the best chance at thriving.
  23. At the moment I feel better for being here on the forums and relaxing for a trice. Otherwise I feel like I could jettison my birthday cake at any moment. Something stressful has reared its ugly head. I just want to get through the rest of the week without any mishaps.
  24. Being here on the forums made me happy. Lots of very lovely birthday wishes and hanging out with my pony friends.
