@Widdershins Well, there's a reason why I like ravens: I'm surrounded by them. No really, we have A LOT of them in our area and they're fascinating to watch. There was this one time where I was feeding the ducks with my dad and there was this raven. I gave it some bread and I was surprised by how it was able to fit SO many chunks of bread in its mouth at one time XD most birds would just eat the one piece of bread or take it with them and fly off, but no. He stuck around and only when his mouth was full did he fly off into the distance. Obviously, he did this for a reason: instead of going back and forth multiple times, why not just get a whole chunk of bread and eat it in the comfort of your nest?

Oh, and there was also this one time where I was at school and it knocked over a can just so it could drink the liquid inside 

That just comes to show just how smart these birds are and that's part of the reason WHY I like Korviknight. Reminds me of all the ravens that live in my area 

That's what I thought when I saw the turtle!  I hope that turns out to be a dragon type  According to Serebii.net, it's a Rock / Water type  I have a feeling that's gonna be one of the fossil Pokemon of the galar region.

In all honestly, I was a little disappointed they didnt reveal the 2nd evolutions of the starters.  I REALLY wanted to see what Sobble evolves into. Hopefully, they'll reveal more at E3 *fingers crossed* 

...and I know exactly what you mean about the wolves.  They aint exactly THE most flashy lookin box-art legendaries we've seen, but if I had to pick one of them, it's Zamazenta. IMO, it looks better and it has a better name. 

...and I knew you'd like Wooloo  when I first saw it on screen, I was like "yep, widders is gonna like this Pokemon. It's SO him" 

@Dynamo Pad I REALLY hope that turns out to be the regional bird  tho it makes me wonder what its pre-evolution is gonna look like? (if that turns out to be the case) Staraptor would have to be MY favourite out of the regional birds. A bird that can learn close combat?  that's INSANE + it had intimidate 

The reason why I said it could be the Braviary of this generation is because of its overall size and the fact that they showed it as a stand-alone bird pokemon. They did the same thing with Braviary back in Pokemon Black and White.

You know, it's funny how you say that. I was originally gonna get Sword version until I saw Zacian and Zamazenta. When it comes to picking versions, I always pick the one that has the cooler-looking box-art legendary and Zamazenta won that contest IMO, it has the better design and the better name  (not only that, Zacian is gonna get a tooth-ache, constantly holding that sword in its mouth) 

More than likely, we'll get a third legendary. This has been a common thing in Pokemon games and I wouldn't be surprised if we got a more balanced one out of the two

I was surprised when Staraptor could learn Close Combat. Seeing how it used that move in the anime was really cool. You'd never think a flying type could fight like that.   

I know what you mean. I usually go with the first title of the duo games. Such as Diamond, Ruby, X and others. However, as soon as I saw Lunala for Sun and Moon, I knew which version it would be. The same can be said for Gold and Silver as I liked Lugia a little more. Especially how Soul Silver sounded pretty cool, in my opinion.

I wonder if the third legendary will be an evil counterpart. Sort of like Kyurem, or maybe Necrozma? I don't remember if Necrozma was evil, or just misunderstood. I wonder if the third legendary will have the same color palette as Zacian and Zamazenta. I remember that someone in a video said that the third might have a name that will fit yellow. Zacian has Za and cyan. Zamazenta has Za and magenta, as well. If that's the case, then it's sort of like a reference to red/blue/green/yellow versions of generation 1. I didn't realize it at first, but I then thought it was pretty clever.  

I was a little saddened that we didn't get any starter evolutions, but at the same time I'm glad they didn't do that. Since we got only a few new Pokemon, then we'll probably get more Pokemon reveals in due time. I just hope it's soon as the last update was about 4 months ago. I wonder if we'll get anything from E3, as well as what the evil organization will be.

@Dynamo Pad The last couple of teams have been kinda disappointing IMO. Team Flare looked like a diet version of Team Magma and Team Skull were just a bunch of Hooligans  I want an evil team that has a bad-ass design and a serious ambition. 

The one thing I'm REALLY looking forward to is gyms. Seriously, I felt like that was the ONE thing that was missing from Pokemon Sun and Moon.  that has been a staple of Pokemon games ever since Gen 1. I have a feeling we'll get a look at the 'pidgey' / 'ratatta' of the galar region and I'll be VERY disappointed if they DONT reveal the 2nd evolutions of the starters. It has been a couple of months since the last Pokemon direct and we haven't got any info about the game since.

One things for sure, if we don't that much information about Pokemon Sword and Shield in this direct, then we'll most certainly get more information about the game at E3 

Dynamaxing! Now THAT'S gonna be a new game-changer in Pokemon battles!

Sorry for the delay. I haven't forgotten about the pic I'm making for ya and I'm working on it.  It's just been REALLY cold the last couple of days (It's ironic. You're entering Summer over there while we're entering Winter, which is my LEAST favourite season of the year  can we trade? X3 I prefer the heat over the cold)

Really, there is nothing in particular I want to see or hope will show up in the trailer. I only care that I'm just excited for more freaking news!!!!!!! 

So "Direct" means a new company mandated release of information? Not product hitting the shelves? I ain't exactly got saved up enough to buy nothin yet.

 Great to hear they're getting around to news; we're still months away from a product release. Companies have agreements for what info gets let out, of course, and they have to be on their toes because they knoes theres fans out there waiting to pounce and overhype what hasn't been fully fleshed out. Sure that's happened before, rumor gets out & fan reaction is so bad they have to scrap what could have been workable & delay release because it looks like no one would buy it like that.

 Personally, just as long as they ain't going with this "Armored Forms" idea, I'm game for anything!

I'm going to be in work during the Pokemon Direct, but I'm really looking forward to it. I hope we'll get new Pokemon and/or anything else to learn about the Galar region. I think I remember watching a video that talked about new features to the game. I hope that will be discussed in the Pokemon Direct.

Fire. Besides just being a bit of a pyro, I've never been steered wrong by a fire type, they've always been my strongest. Granted, I stopped playing back in the original Gold/Silver days, but I always went with a fire starter, and they always ended up just wrecking 90% of whatever they went up against.

Plus the designs are usually just the most appealing to me. Fire salamander that turns into a fire dragon? Fire hedgehog-anteater thing that turns into a fire puppy kind of thing? Yes, plz.

Ice, beyond a shadow of a doubt! Though quickly followed by Psychic & Normal. There's a beautiful, natural grace to Ice Pokémon!  And with Psychic & Normal there's a fair thread of real Oddball!

Ice-Type style, Ice-Type grace. Ice-Type power in yo face!

Must say, there's only, like, two ice types I could say I don't actually like & find cute. Oughta blog about that sometime!

Though really, I'm at a loss as to that second example. Fire-Types have about the best design on them despite being one of the rarest, yet starting types. You'd think the anteater with machine-gun-fists would actually be a physical brawler, but no. You'd like Heatmor, Barny! Heatmor, it heats moar. Apply mor heet.

Think the thing is with dark-type moves. @DusksuD, is that they're all inherently designed to have added effects. Dark moves are known for their non-damaging moves like Torment which prevent moves being used more than twice in a row. Like its underhanded tactics that play by their own rules! Pokémon Factoids!: in the original Japanese its called the "Evil Type." The dark type move Night Slash?  Crossroad Killing!

  Pretty badass.

@Lord Valtasar Yeh, Electric is a pretty middlin rare typing too. And not too memorably designed either. Though I do love my lil' Speedball Electrodes and Heliolisk is a total cutie too!

 And another little known pokemon fact, there, @Odyssey. Technically, Fighting is the rarest type of them all. Many pokemon are capable of fighting. But there's only one fighting-TYPE.  Because only Machamp is made from PURE FIGHT!

True true @Widdershins. There are a lot of Fighting types that specialize on a martial art or another way of fighting. But despite what people say, there are actually very few Fightmons that really are all about the muscles and all about the fighting. Machamp and Conkeldurr, to name a few!

I would love to see Starlight Glimmer, Twilight or Rainbow Dash again.

I'd have to say Celestia  but I hope we see most of them again, I hate the Ides that things would change that much
