  1. I was going to say if like thru the mirror like EQG, that would be perfect for me too. Wouldn't that be awsome!
  2. Since June yes, if just to catch up with everyone else. Still have a season and a half to go 'til end of S6. It has got so if an evening passes without squeezing in a couple of eps it can seem a bit strange and empty.
  3. Leg warmers. As cute as socks and possibly not as 'suggestive'. Also very practical, the pony won't wear holes thru the bottom by walking / running around. "Ponies In Socks" - would make a great name for band.
  4. I've had some of that, can be amazing how much piles up in there, it's like it's a Tardis. Once had to move my wardrobe because of a water pipe being installed, unloaded it, moved it, put it back, couldn't get it all back in!
  5. So am I! 10 minutes ago, thinking about what to have for lunch. And now I've forgotten...
  6. The first time I saw this I was genuinely shocked how Rarity bawled out her friends for not doing good enough work, and stormed out in a huff. I was like "Whoa! What just happened?" Of course she redeems herself and is genunely grateful to find her friends are still there for her. Was really quite emotional. And mucho kudos to Coco Pommel for doing the right thing, and dumping Suri! Applejack: "Normally she doesn't even like musicals." Rainbow Dash: "I know. Ponies just bursting into song in random places at the drop of a hat? Who does that?!" *Cue Rarity singing*
  7. This: I notice Pinkie's expression is more of a grin, rather than just gob-smacked. This: AWWW!! score #15
  8. This amazing scene of the 'royal box' reaction to Spike trying to light the flame and failing. It's only on screen for literally a couple of seconds which is a shame cos it's a fantastic picture with lots of detail. Somebody has spent not inconsiderable time figuring it out and drawing it. I pulled off a full-screen sized still of it just so I can look at it at leisure. Love the ponies in the front row, speshly the magnificent guy on the end left, with the blonde Mohican, and her with the enormous fan-shaped headress. Whatever its shortcomings may be I do like this episode and have seen it a few times now, also it was one of the first MLP episodes I saw very early on, out of sequence, and so is also one of those that made me want to watch more MLP - so it must be doing something right. If only for that reason, it's still in my list of favourites.
  9. Right now, Fonogeri, Letters From Home. Previously, Gerard Presencer, Groove Travels (Modern jazz) Next problee Coldplay or Elbow, not decided yet. So, Elbow won.
  10. Found on the web ... How could you possibly resist ... You'd have to have a heart of granite. OK enough already, what ever it is you want, you've got it.
  11. Found this on the web... Am now suffering 200% cuteness overload Should come with a warning label
  12. Hello Le Trotteur Funeste from a fellow newbie, welcome to pony world!
  13. There's a plot right there! Say if she was possessed by something, then brought back to normality by the love from her friends.
  14. Same here. Really cute, the young ones standing on their sisters' backs. 'Fact I made two screen grabs of this that could be used as wallpapers. AWWW!! score #11.
  15. This is not me! Blurb subject to 'further embellishments / tidying up'. Pix courtesy of General Zoi's pony maker: (Thanks to Leatherneck for mentioning it!) Name: Prairie Princess Type: earth pony Gender: female Appearance: light tan coat; long blue-black mane and tail; hazel eyes. Cutie Mark: a magenta 'pi' symbol with a white outline. Special Talents: primary, mathematics; secondary, philosophy. Occupation: is currently tasked by Princess Celestia to help with the design and construction of a grand new circular park in The Crystal Empire, by solving mathematical problems as they arise, for example stress of materials, geometric designs and trigonometry, that kind of stuff. The bonus is she gets to do most of this at home in Ponyville and so can pretty much please herself what she does and when. Hobbies: mostly, sitting in front of her blackboard at home, chalk in hoof, puzzling over some mind-bending formula to do with astronomy, or Equestrian magic, or quantum physics (Equestria version), or prime numbers, or Foalean logic, or how high is the peak of that hill I can see on the horizon... but which to anypony else makes about as much sense as so many wallpaper patterns. But she also likes being outdoors and running and playing in the sun, and has never lost that foal-like sense of wonder at the world, and can often be found standing frozen in awe at some newly discovered and arresting vista or landscape. The first time she saw The Gazebo, for example, she was so amazed that she was too afraid to take another step in case doing so would make it disappear like a mirage. (Of course she did, and it didn't.) Additional Info: has just moved into a cottage near Sweet Apple Acres, or to be more truthful, a shack that badly needed renovating. Ergo, the first of the mane 6 she became acquainted with would have been Applejack. She likes tea, but only if it has been brewed in a teapot. She likes parsnips, but only if they have been roasted. She's apt to use occasional hippy phrases like "far out" and "groovy". She likes to wear thin gold bracelets and anklets and is seldom seen without them. She is not too overly fussed about dress fashion however but will wear a stylish cape in the cold weather. She's bookish like Twilight, but not quite as much. The Ponyville rumor-machine quickly cottoned onto the appearance in the community of "that crazy pony who lives in that old shack out by the Apples' place, her that has the thousand yards stare". This has been fuelled by sightings of Prairie often lying in her front yard, very slowly chewing a mouthful of grass like a cow chews cud, and staring into space while wrestling with some mathematical problem in her head. After an indefinite length of time, she would then suddenly leap to her feet, usually accompanied by a loud cry of triumph, and quickly trot indoors to add some more chalky squiggles to her walls. So Rainbow Dash, for one, is not too sure what to make of Prairie. Firstly, she's "another egg-head", and then she's got all these incomprehensible chalky scribbles all over her walls which kind of look like sinister magic runes or somesuch other "weird stuff". Rainbow doesn't like going in there, as though they're actually going to jump off the walls and attack her or something. [Have I thought about this too much?] Pinkie Pie, perhaps unsurprisingly, is completely unfazed. When asked, by Twilight, after their first meeting with Prairie: "So what do you think of Prairie?" Pinkie replied, with all sincerity, "I like her she's nuts!" (Stopping here else will never get posted) ENDS .
  16. Sadly just cos you think something is brilliant is no guarantee someone else will. Think I see where you're coming from tho, like if it's your best mate, and you want them to like it too, just as you do. You could suggest it, but that's all. "Force", as in, what tie them to a chair and tape their eyelids open? I remember a friend inviting me to his house and sit me down to play me the latest Dire Straits album cos he was convinced I should like it, because I like Jethro Tull, and it was quite Tull-ish. Sad to say no, I was totally unmoved! Reason for edit: typos
  17. That I like. A lot. A really cool idea. Presumably if you wanted to go there, or even see it, would have to be in a dream. Personally I am in no doubt (and have readily accepted, rightly or wrongly) that we are talking about immortals here - goddesses - I mean, they can move the sun and moon around. Who else does that? Whenever I think about it I am always reminded of Egyptian mythology, Amun Ra and all that.
  18. Silly question time - how does one add a sig - can't find in user settings, or is it dependent on post count, kind of thing?
  19. Wow like your character info. I was worrying mine is getting a bit long and maybe over the top? Not posted it yet - but will worry about it less now!

    1. Rikifive

      Rikifive

Mine still requires some polishing, but it'll do for now. :P

And I saw some extremely long character info, so you shouldn't be worried about that anyway. ^^

  20. Just got logged in on the iPhone to be able to say - HI! From a fellow noob
  21. Thanks for telling anyway! Winter Wrap Up is brilliant and so is the song, one of my faves.
  22. Hello Nicholas, welcome from another newbie.
  23. Love this bit: "The surprise is I lost the measuring spoon in the batter. Somepony's going to get a very special pancake!!" Rarity's expression is priceless
  24. LOL .. Greetings from me too! ^Luv that line, excellent ..
