@Blitz Boom The Sphinx glanced down at the newcomer and flew down till she was infront of her temple entrance, she twisted her head and frowned at the newcomer. She sat herself down into a sitting position and blinked at her letting out a low yawn. "Well come along deary, we don't have all day. I'm sure your willing to come to some sort of agreement. You sure won't be leaving without one" she purred amused. She glanced up as a magical beam hit the sandstorm, she shook her head at the magic that was now within her realm. "Silly ponies, when will they learn, they can't use magic in here without my permission. If you will excuse me one second" she apologized. She levitated a large lump of sand and put it in front of the beam turning the sand to a glass orb that was now collecting the magic leaving the sandstorm to rage within her realm unopposed. She then turned back to the new comer, "Now then where were we? Before that rude interruption" she asked the blue cloaked mare. "I will have your name as well, powerful things they are they are also useful in there way" she remarked. @Blitz Boom @Dji @Seamore Sandwich @EQ_Theta @Lucid_Nightlight @Storm Shine The Sandstorm had grown to a large vortex that went up many meters and was centered around the Sphinx's temple though it stayed within the Sphinx's realm which was the Everfree Forest. Though more likely it was the Everfree Desert now. The Glass gem was in front of the large Sandstorm absorbing the magic that came from one of the Princesses that had halted the advance of the Sandstorm, though it was still a eyesore unless you happened to like giant raging sandstorms and oddly shaped temples which cold be occasionally seen within. The meaning of the storm was clear. While the Sphinx was entertaining her guest she didn't want anymore unwanted visitors, though it was possible to get though the sandstorm it was more of a deterant rather then a barrier. You could walk though it with no harm to yourself however you would have a bad mane day if you did, plus sand just gets everywhere.

The Sphinx let out a loud roar, she stamped her paws onto the ground and stared at the hole that had now collapsed. She growled as she realized the dragon and her servant had escaped, though she growled as she realized what had defeated her. ~Magic~ She hated magic, especially cowardly magic though it was not a problem, not really it didn't affect her grande scheme though it made her want to bring her plans forwards. World conquest was always the most hard to pull off though she had a good foothold. After all the forest now belong to her since Lyriel had fled, she flicked her tail now able to destroy everything within the forest, knowing exactly what she would turn it into. She let out another loud roar before muttering to herself. She knew how she would deal with this transgression within her temple. Only she could use magic, nothing else. She flicked her tail smashing one of the many ornaments within her temple. She gathered up the sand that was glowing and flicked it causing it to slowly spin. It began gathering momentum and expanding outwards eventually expanding out from the temple gaining momentum. The Sphinx moved back to her throne unaffected by the growing sandstorm. The forest would die as the sand touched it and be replaced by more sand to further the storm, nothing would grow though it wouldn't harm the ponies directly they would not enjoy a sand landscape she thought. The ponies in the nearby settlements would soon know of her presence. If this plan didn't flush out Nerzhei and Lyriel from there hiding place then she would have to do something more drastic. Maybe even visit the settlements herself and reign as she once did. She watched the sandstorm growing and laughed, "So Nerzhei, You made me your enemy, So you want to play with Magic? Well lets play then" she then spread her wings and flew out of her temple before slowly flying around it causing the sandstorm to grow faster and larger. "Are you ready for, ready for. The Perfect Storm, Perfect Storm" she cackled causing the storm to head towards the nearby settlement. She then flew down and sat ontop of her temple roof watching it move towards her target. ~Ponyville~

The Sphinx smirked and glared down at Nerzhei, "Well maybe banishment is too good for you, though I've considered your life as poultry to be rather comical." she growled stepping closer to the dragon intending to deal with her, she paused as some spiked rocks came out of the ground and flew towards her, she rolled her eyes and roared causing them to shatter to the floor. She was the one that could only do magic in her temple, not some dragon. "I don't think I gave you permission to use that magic here" she growled. She glared at the dryad and snapped at her, "Stop your wailing, servants are not allowed to wail without permission" she growled at the tree thing before going back to the dragon. "You trying to hide? That won't save you" she growled before sending a large shard towards the pillar of rocks that was hiding the dragon, not noticing her or Lyriel escaping not even thinking they would do so. The Sphinx let out a loud roar as she discovered that Nerzhei had gone, she glanced down the hole and then turned where the other hole had appeared where her servant had been, she let out another angry roar and stamped her paws on the ground, causing some more of the forest to turn to desert. She would have to go find them, and remove them, or she could think of another way to get back at them for running away.

world cup Introducing the 2018 MLPF World Cup
BloodDrops replied to Jeric's topic in MLPF Pony World Cup (2018)
Woop well I will be in it, with my zombie comrades eating the peppermint bark in everfree forest. Though if the ball was ever made from anything peppermint flavour, we might want to try and chew that or kick it around, inventing zombie football in the process. You can stop me with a very fast played ballad or a simple violin solo would also suffice, though you would get lots of sleepy zombies at such a point, though we are good ball hogs. so do i get a place?- 202 replies

Droppy blinked up at Nerzhei and then back at Lyriel, "What did she agree to?" she asked the dragon quietly as she heard the Sphinx laugh, she didn't like it one bit. She blinked as the ground turned into sand, she stared at the floor confused and gave some of the sand a kick. "I don't like sand" she said after awhile to Nerzhei, though when she looked up it wasn't Nerzhei in front of her but the Sphinx. She blinked confused as she was levitated up into the air, then there was nothing she could remember past that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Sphinx grinned and cackled evilly as Lyriel accepted her deal. she slammed her paws to the ground causing the air to shake from the vibration. The temple turned from it forest setting the plants dried out and died turning to sand before solidifying and turning into sandstone pillars. The ground turned from dirt to sand as she began to change her temple ground from its forest setting back to her beloved desert scene. She glanced outside and smiled evilly at Nerzhei and the plauge walker. "Now then, lets get to work. You just wait right there Nerzhei, I'll deal with you in a minute" she growled. First she had to deal with the plague mare, she did so by levitating the problem creature up and towards herself ignoring the mares wiggling. "Your usefulness has ended, time for you to end" she growled at the mare. The Sphinx grinned as the plague walker glowed then turned into a pile of bones, they dropped neatly to the floor then eroded into dust. Then vanished entirely. She brushed her paws together since she had solved that problem, once and for all. "Now were caught up to the present, how should I deal with you Nerzhei?" she asked her with a small smirk. "After all your a dragon and dragons do like to ruin there own ecosystem, so any last requests? Decapitation?, Slavery? Anything take your fancy?" she giggled sitting down, she enjoyed playing with her food, especially since she now had the power to do so. The Sphinx smirked, "I like banishment, do you like banishment? If not im sure I could arrange you getting eaten by lotus, that would be a sight to see" she laughed glancing over to Lyriel, "you see this is how you rule Lyriel, you have rules and if those rules are broken then you punish the rule breakers with such evil tasks. Come to think of it, you probably do know what I mean, wasn't exactly hard to trick those stupid twigs to drink from the sacred water in the first place. Bet those dragons didn't see that coming" she smirked before turning back to the dragon. "Unfortunately for you, I don't like dragons, and guess what? Your a dragon" she laughed, oh she could have so much fun with her newfound powers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~In a village long ago and far away~ Drops started to pull her cart full of crops, mainly beats and some carrots, though she was good at pulling carts, she didn't think much about it, rather happy with it. She didn't get paid alot for it though she got enough to get by. Though something made her pause by a bridge at the edge of town, she had a strange feeling about the bridge, though she didn't go near it. Suborn as she was she always knew not to leave the town, after all something might happen. She instead turned around and walked back into the center of the village, she didn't know why she had even left it in the first place.

Droppy giggled and smiled at Nerzhei, "Well it would have some sort of catch, Sphinx's always have a catch with there deals. even the good ones" she remarked with a small snort. She let out a low snort and glanced at the door, before turning back to Nerzhei, "So should we go in or should we knock first? I'm not about to go and trespass inside a temple owned by a Sphinx" she remarked to the dragon. She instead stared at the large door and the statue of the Sphinx and the plant pony thing. "Seems your friend is apart of the temple, maybe she decided she had a better use as a support then a walking being" she remarked staring at Nerzhei. She then licked her lips, she was getting hungry again. "Maybe I could wish for a endless supply of steak, that would be nice" she finished. The Sphinx stared down at Lyriel coldly, "This forest did contain many creatures, though some have seem to have been eaten by a plague that walked this land. It was not me that brought her here, but your dragon friend and in addition yourself for allowing her entry knowing full well her disease she brought with her. The question is not how much land I will take from the creatures that they live on, the question is why did you allow this creature into there land to taint it in the first place? You know she has a disease that can spread to anything, you think it was a smart idea to bright her into the middle of your forest? I wonder how long until she infects other creatures, that is what you should have asked me, 'how much has she infected?'. not how much land you will lose of it, weighing up the amount of land against the well being of the creatures under your protection" she scolded. "I am disappointed in you Lyriel, maybe I should give the plague walker what she wants instead, if you don't like my offer, I gave you a genuine offer and you question it, that offends me. More to it that is insulting. I can simply leave and let you deal with the plague walker but I was nice enough to offer you help and you question it" she snorted, "I hear she smashed some timber wolves like they were twigs, wonder how you would fare up to her wrath. Being the last sane one of your species, I would have thought you would do everything in your power to prevent such a disastrous end and leave your species in ruin. Instead you haggle over land you can offer me like I were a beggar asking for change" she tutted. The Sphinx got off her throne, and stood up glaring down at Lyriel, she didn't suffer criticism or fools likely."I was going to just take the area inside my temple though i'm now thinking of taking the whole forest and taking guardianship off your hooves." she growled at Lyriel. "I will give you this deal instead of my previous offer, I will take the land my temple stands on as my own. Though if you fail in your duty to protect your charge of keeping this forest safe, I will take all your forest as a reprise for your shortcomings and banish you back to the land you came from. You can take that deal or deal with your plague walker yourself" she remarked "You should remember what happened the last time your species disrespected me and be grateful that I've giving you a easy way out this time. If I cure the plague walker all her disease she has ever spread will be removed from the world and she will return home none the wiser of her plague days, if she stays here your forest will be infected and die if its not already infected. Then her infection will spread to the ponies you like so much and they will die because of you. That would make you a murderer Lyriel, are you a murderer?" she asked her slyly. The Sphinx flicked her tail and stared at the plant, "So do you agree to my deal or not?" she asked her finally.

Droppy blinked and kept her distance from Nerzhei like she was the one with a disease, still giving her a wary look. She kept her distance from the dragon and snorted as they moved towards the Sphinx's temple, her flank was still hurting and she was one to keep grudges. She was only playing and she got snapped at for making fun of the dragon. She pointedly continued to give her a disproving glare, though she didn't say anything encase it set her off again, she instead looked to where the odd looking building was in the distance and snorted. "Looks like a temple" she remarked. She smirked and gave Nerzhei a evil grin, "Looks like shes decided to settle here, wonder how long till she decides that the view isn't that nice" she chuckled. She knew how this particular Sphinx worked, though after Nerzhei's latest outburst she decided not to reveal too much, after all she still had a sore flank."Hope you got more of that headache draft, your going to need it" she giggled. "Suppose you could wish for some more, or wish for the headache to disappear, though you'll be searching for a body to go with it" she added amused. "Better hope your plant friends not gone and made a deal with her, otherwise you might be looking for a cure yourself" she snorted rolling her eyes. The Sphinx rolled her eyes, "Well my magic forbids her harm until her quest is completed. You might posses magic but not as strong as my own, your attempts were flawed as soon as you decided you needed to kill her, trap her and that would have worked perfectly well. Moved her on would have also worked" she tutted giving Lyriel a lecture. "Not every animal fears her, not myself nor that friend of a dragon you keep with you." she finished. She rolled her eyes as she began to cry, "Crying won't solve the matter either. All that will do is cause you more harm then good" she advised. She hated other things crying, it made her grumpy which probably could be picked up by the tone in her voice. She glanced into the pool by her throne at the question and stired the water with her tail tip. "Hmm the price?" she asked. She glanced in the water and nodded at what she saw. "Well I would ask that this temple and the ground its sat on is considered sacred and any and all specifics are decided by myself within the temple, since I'm living here now. I would like that exclusive and incontrovertible right" she said with a small smile. "Not much really, just want to be able to do what i want with my temple and the land its on really." she added, "Then the plague walker can be cured of her disease and be returned back to her home. Like she had never even been infected in the first place. Just think of how many creatures she has killed and infected. All i'm asking for really is a slice of land, think of how many creatures have been destroyed already" she added sweetening the deal. "take it or leave it, you are the protector of this forest after all. I would prefer it not be destroyed by a plague walker, but that's up to you. Take the deal and protect your forest or let it fall into ruin. I do like letting creatures use there own free will to decide whats best for there own futures" she finished glancing back into the pool. She liked what she saw in it.
