    What about best background ponies? I know there's already one for secondary/recurring characters, but I don't think that's the same. The former would be the characters who normally don't have speaking roles (like Derpy), the latter the ones with more significant appearances (like Discord). Or maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to list both Coco and Strawberry Scoop.

    Another member of Blue Chips here. Yeah, I had to check – we have three members already, plus two in somewhat similarly named bands. I guess we could perform songs about the stock market or something. But at least it sounds a little more appealing than my former band Blue Bread.

    Yes, I would definitely watch a spin-off about the Student 6! I have liked them since they were introduced, especially Ocellus and Smolder. The former especially needs more screentime – she hasn't had an episode focused on her the way some of the others did... I agree the Student 6 have been underutilized lately, especially with how little merchandise there is of them. They had some of the best episodes last season (especially "What Lies Beneath"). I wouldn't have minded having more episodes for them this season either, though it's understandable they can't focus as much on all characters, with everything they're trying to do in the last season. Their entries this season have been a bit underwhelming compared to last season, "Uprooted" in particular (while I enjoyed it, it's my second least favorite in season 9).

    I would have liked to see a tenth season for multiple reasons. Especially because I feel the show is still excellent (or at least most episodes are), but also because 10 would have been a nice number to end on. However, I'm glad the show crew got to know they were working on the last season early enough to make it truly special. It's hard to say without having seen the finale, but I'm hopeful they will give the show the ending it deserves. I'm not sure how a revival would work after that, it might end up being a letdown. So my views depend a little on what the finale is like.

    Several people already expressed my first thought – an eternal dream would pretty much feel the same as reality. If it was a pleasant one, I'd gladly choose that one. The other option sounds awful – I'd essentially waste ten years anyway, and not enjoy a moment of it. The dream would at least be an enjoyable delusion if nothing else.

    My favorite is "So Much More to Me". One of the best songs (possibly the best?) in all of G4, with very cute visuals. In general, the music videos have been the standouts for me – the short length works best in those. "The Finals Countdown" and "Monday Blues" were also very good, and out of the non-musical ones, I found "Overpowered" the most entertaining. Honorable mentions to "Star Crossed" and "Twilight Under the Stars" for having Sci-Twi at her most adorkable!

    I like the new songs too, but I do feel the older ones were more memorable and catchier. Somehow I don't find myself going back to listen to the new songs like I did with many of the earlier ones. In the last couple of seasons, I've actually liked many of the EqG songs more than those in FIM (especially "So Much More to Me" which is one of my absolute favorites in MLP). I've always loved "The Flim Flam Cider Song". I generally prefer the pop songs in MLP over the more musical-styled ones, but that's one of the exceptions. It's very catchy and I especially like how it grows near the ending. As for the later Flim and Flam songs, I found them pretty forgettable.

      I guess I could say the same about myself. I never brainwashed a whole village or at least I admit nothing, but she's more relatable than the Mane 6 in some ways. Making friends has never been easy for me (at least outside these forums :P), so I can't really say I'm like Pinkie in that regard, for example... :mlp_blink:

      Pre-alicornification Twilight was probably the most relatable Mane 6 pony for me. :adorkable:

      Yeah, me too. I actually find that I get along better with people older than me as opposed to people my own age.

      Out of the Mane 7, Pinkie is definitely the one LEAST similar to me!

      I'd probably say Rainbow Dash is the one I resemble the least, at least when it comes to sports and such. :please: As for Pinkie, I at least share her love for candy! :pinkie: And I think her dedication to making others happy is something truly admirable!
