  1. Happy birthday, my friend! :pinkie: I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

  2. Not that it really applies to me, as I doubt I'll be getting married (at least anytime soon)... but if I did, I'd actually prefer both of us to keep our own names. While I understand the reasons for a couple sharing the same surname, at the same time I feel a surname is a part of one's identity, their family history and such. I certainly wouldn't demand my hypothetical spouse to take my surname in any case. However, I do find the idea of a couple coming up with an all-new surname they will share (instead of one of them taking the other's surname) pretty cool. Especially if it's a creative combination of their former names (Villaraigosa being a famous example).
  3. I'm here to help too! Good thing I just got these wings...
  4. Happy birthday, my friend! :pinkie: May it be an amazing one! :D

  6. What a cute Smolder! ^_^ Even if she probably wouldn't like being called so.

Am I the only one who thinks she resembles a Dragon version of Wendy O. Koopa?

@Anti-Villain They do look quite similar! :wau:

I've seen Smolder compared with Scootaloo a lot of times, which is understandable (they have a similar color scheme, and also personality in some regards). :)

      Eww...she's no Koopaling.

  7. Ladybugs are cute, even if a certain alicorn might disagree on that! But I guess butterflies would have to be my choice – their beauty and variety is unmatched!
  8. I mostly use Spotify these days. I like it for how easy it is to find what you want – no need to wade through various versions to find one that is actually listenable (unlike the far too common poor quality versions on YouTube and similar sites). And free access to almost all the music I want to listen to is awesome! As for other ways I listen to music... I still sometimes use YouTube or other such sites if Spotify doesn't have the song I'm looking for. I also listen to the radio or a music channel on TV sometimes, but it's more for background noise than anything I pay much attention to. I haven't listened to my CDs in a long time, as the ones I have are mostly available on either Spotify or YouTube.
  9. No, I don't... And in fact, I don't even know many people who do. Would I like to have one? No. I wouldn't want to be near anything so potentially dangerous, I know I'd be paranoid about something terrible happening somehow.
  10. I can whistle the normal way, and I'd say I'm actually quite decent at it (unlike with singing)! At least the melodies are recognizable. As for the loud whistle, I never learned to do that. And in all honesty, I don't care about that, as I find it very annoying – my ears hurt whenever someone makes that hideous noise.
  11. I often wake up a few minutes before the alarm goes off (in spite of getting up generally being very difficult to me)... but I could never trust myself to wake up completely without one. If I don't absolutely have to get up at a particular time, I won't bother with one – I'd probably just turn it off over and over.
  12. Alright, what is going on here?

I just came across an article on bronies published by Diggit Magazine.

    https://www.diggitmagazine.com/articles/bronies-fandom-stereotypes

I'd say it's quite an interesting article, though it's more for people outside the community. But one of the example images of the online community really caught my eye.. :ooh:

@CypherHoof Which is about 15 minutes more than I'd have expected! ;) I wonder who'll be the next to get theirs, it could be anyone. :ooh:

      CypherHoof

Well, not me because I ticked the "no publicity" box :)

And if I ever said "fluttershy" it wouldn't be by accident ;)

      @CypherHoof I hope it's someone else then! ;)

I'm glad I don't have to talk about butterflies often (especially in English)... I'd have to be especially careful not to say Fluttershy.

And yes, I was extremely close to writing "fluttershies" in that sentence! :yay:

  13. Happy birthday, my friend! :pinkie: May it be an awesome one! B)

  14. That's a very nice and cute drawing! It's great to see some artwork of one of the most adorable ponies in season 9. And I also like the magic effect!
  15. I'm glad to hear things are going well for you! And it's nice to see you still visit occasionally, even if you're no longer interested in ponies. I wish you all the best, my friend!
  16. No Babs Seed? But then again, I doubt she'd get that many votes... Scootaloo has always been my favorite. I pretty much always like cute characters with attitude. I also think her inability to fly and trying to cope with it makes her more interesting as a character. In addition, her voice fits her perfectly – and even her not quite perfect singing was rather endearing in my opinion. So all in all, she's quite a clear winner, and a top ten pony overall for me.
