I know the pieces fit
'Cause I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smouldering
Fundamental differing
Pure intention juxtaposed
Will set two lovers' souls in motion
Disintegrating as it goes
Testing our communication
The light that fueled our fire then
Has burned a hole between us so
We cannot seem to reach an end
Crippling our communication
I know the pieces fit
'Cause I watched them tumble down
No fault, none to blame
It doesn't mean I don't desire
To point the finger, blame the other
Watch the temple topple over
To bring the pieces back together
Rediscover communication
The poetry that comes from
The squaring off between
And the circling is worth it
Finding beauty in the dissonance
There was a time that the pieces fit
But I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smouldering
Strangled by our coveting
I've done the math enough to know
The dangers of our second guessing
Doomed to crumble unless we grow
And strengthen our communication
I feel worry and genius. We gotta wait on the sidelines Genesis knew how to get us on the issues.
The question is, will Summer 2026 deliver the turnaround the globe needs?
Back in June 2009, this repetitive track got me,
From a band forever stuck with changing lots of vocalists, the guy at the mic might have been the 2nd best behind the original guy at that time. Does summer always pull me back to it?
This takes the awful cherry of being the worst Sunday to close June. Not only because nothing really happened, but also how late a movie would be before nightfall and risk very sleepiness to get back home had an adventure proceeded. There's also login stuff I may have to change for my online workplace account if I'm unable to enter the workplace building to do it. Paychecks from June have to be printed and turned in before or after the 4th of July.
