  1. Not even Emperor Palpatine could have foreseen that I would one day become a horse on the internet.
  2. These Gen 4 comics are too scary for me.

On a more serious note, the young Sombra in this panel is just about the best depiction of him in the entire issue. I'm starting to understand why people have intimated that the art is of a variable quality in the MLP comics now that I'm taking a look at em'.

There's some good in there for sure, but for Siege of Crystal Empire centering around King Sombra and his backstory, I think the art for his adult form is pretty bad. All of the comic characters have a tendency to display toothy grimaces that don't look particularly pony-esque to me, but Sombra has more of these than anyone. Not quite as smooth and smug as his cartoon appearance, his head looks really unusual compared to the former and reminds me not a little of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for some reason.

  3. I still browse through the RPG Classic shrines sometimes when I start a new game. Extremely soulful website and surprisingly occasionally updated to this very day. https://alexandria.rpgclassics.com/alpha.shtml Would still probably utilize the ROM depository The Cult of Kefka if it were still in action. Can't find anything other than a piece of it on the Wayback Machine https://web.archive.org/web/20011205075129/http://members.madasafish.com/~kefka/ff3dl.htm Used to be a huge fan of the PC game Arcanum and still read the ancient forums of this fansite from time-to-time. https://terra-arcanum.com/
  4. I just come in and fire away with my ramblings without a second thought most of the time. There's a reason that the vast majority of posts are edited after the fact: Chukchi not reader, but writer.
  5. In retrospect, my worst teachers played their part as much as the ones I thought were good. Can't thank them enough.
  6. I like your critical views on roleplaying interaction.

Don't feel compelled by any means to do so, but I would be interested in reading some of your general ideas regarding this subject if you ever felt like writing them out.

Failing that, if you know of any guides related to the subject that you particularly approve of, I would likewise be interested in seeing those.

    Thanks

  7. Mobile Suit Gundam? Yeah, I seen all of Mobile Suit Gundam. All of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team at least.
  8. Adding Trixie makes any composition better automatically.
  9. August 20th was St. Stephen's Day in Hungary, so I had this on my mind.
  10. Still not perfect, but we're getting warmer.

Beautiful Changelings displaying their natural tranquility.

  11. LD cooling her hooves at the Down N' Out cider pub.
  12. One thing that does suck is that the Playstation 5 no longer has an easily accessible and functional web browser like the Playstation 4 had. Your choices are to either jump through hoops to access a crude leftover browser that you aren't even supposed to be able to access or stick to downloadable media apps. Compounding the problem is the fact that the Youtube app on PS5 has even more advertisements than the normal version if you can believe that.
  13. Results of a personality quiz from two different sites. The pony quiz reignited my old interest in such matters, although the short-format ones like you see here don't seem very reliable. I used to get RLUAI or similar outcomes on some of the longer tests pretty consistently, but it has been a minute since I did so.

Except for the "Unproductive; late with work" part of the RLUAI description it seems fairly accurate....

  14. Started playing a bit of my previous save file for Shining Force, but as usual I have a hard time getting back into saves that I've left alone for too long. Those strategy RPG games always tempt me to cheat lest I miss a good character/item that is hidden somewhere. Final Fantasy Tactics and Vandal Hearts are prime examples of this. For now, I'm thinking back to the ancient days of Pharaoh (1999). Never played the remade version, but the soundtrack is pretty swell.
  15. Not sure if it is alright to double-post here, but I'm going to risk it. Queen Chrysalis has perhaps my favorite overall character design in the entire series, and maybe any animated show period. Her and the Changelings in general are interesting and highly dangerous creatures: as the opposite of everything that Ponies hold near and dear, there's a great deal of potential for conflict, exploration, and humor between them and everyone else. Even without the hive to back her up, Chrysalis causes all kinds of trouble. She carries the team in Frenemies (Literally in the case of Cozy) with some amazing transformations and basically wreaks havoc when her egomania doesn't get in the way. Having Chrysalis infiltrate the Crystal Empire again and get ready for King Sombra to attack would have been a pretty good plan. Oh well. Anyway, Rebecca Dart did an outstanding job in my opinion.
  16. Felt sick with a headache and general malaise today, but I forced myself to go for a walk around sunset. The wind was blowing as I began to walk through a nearby field and followed the path towards the summit. The sky itself was in a strange condition, with lower layers of gray-white and nearly purple clouds obscuring a higher atmosphere in which beautiful screes of broken cloudbanks were illuminated by a sun pure and bright. It played a game of hide-and-seek as I climbed higher and higher through the rising meadow, but not once did it disappear entirely: here and there it would break or scatter in the shroud, unique and beautiful as a falling mist come alive with a momentary rainbow. I used to go up there and sit pretty often. To listen to the wind roar in the sky; to gaze upon that mystery which felt it was for me alone. You can just lay up there and feel empty.
  17. Indeed: Dave seems to have been blown away by KO. I haven't watched his Japanese stuff so I cant judge, but honestly back when I was watching AEW he clowned around a bit too much for my taste.
  18. Cozy would probably get along with a couple of my OC characters. Their tendency to end up on the side of milk cartons would not be out of keeping with having such a trustworthy ally on the expedition roster.

  19. Never played this hack myself, but it seems promising.
  20. Love how King Sombra teleports around the lair in this one. Image not related.
  21. Pharynx has to be up there. Kinda wish that his character arc was a bit longer, because the idea of Changelings who have a hard time adjusting after Queen Chrysalis is gone is very interesting.
  22. The best thing in my humble opinion is utilizing whatever access your institution (or local library) provides to applications like JSTOR or the equivalent for your field of study. That will get around many of the paywall issues or the hassle of going through Sci-Hub or other sketchy websites if you can do it. Wikipedia articles are actually worse than useless when it comes right down to it: between the gatekeeping of the site administration itself and the dubious intentions of the contributors proven or speculatory (https://gizmodo.com/congress-is-still-editing-wikipedia-a-lot-heres-how-1605295946), you're really asking for trouble by citing or even believing them at all. Your national library/institutions might have resources to use online. Library of Congress: https://www.loc.gov/ Archive.org is a treasure trove: https://archive.org/details/texts
  23. A book close to my heart. The protagonist's way of life reminded me of many aspects of my own younger years except for the "Murdering three children" part and maybe one or two other little things.
  24. April 7, 1982 A World Heavyweight Title match between Ric Flair and Butch Reed is awarded the first five-star rating in the history of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Later in 1989, another Flair match against Ricky Steamboat will be the first to be awarded a six-star rating by Dave Meltzer.
