As for feeling welcomed by a community, there have been times where I have felt not so, but all we can do is try, even if we feel like the odds are against us. I came to MLPforums because of like-minded citizens who also appreciate My Little Pony as much as I did, among other things they like talking about. There are other places for MLP fans to hang out, but Bronycons is something I've never been to nor have any intention of going to.

Yes, but sometimes controversies arise from misunderstanding of a situation. I am in the process of having to ask them a question about something to avoid further issues with them on my end as well. They may be trying to protect the forums but it helps to try to understand where other people are coming from, it's easy to punish, it's harder to ask the question why, there's always a reason for why people behave the way they do, looking at the root causes of that behavior and helping them is usually the better option.

Daydreaming is a safespace I have, in my mind I am free, free to be who I wish. The gratitude felt from being a pegasus, to fly, in a world of friendship and compassion. To be free from misunderstanding, to have the power to say no, to be loved. In my fanfiction world. I would not care about not being a Wonderbolt, as long as I'm gentle and understanding of others, that is enough.

A Sega Master System. Hang On was a fun game to play, and day and night cycle was an interesting feature of it as well, if you got far enough into the game you could ride to the city at night. -

What can I do in 10 minutes from now? even if I continue on with my fan fiction it does not make that world real, and nothing can. I'll probably never get the project finished anyway, not because I won't live long enough, that's not it, it's a one person project. Saying that though, in old age I could lose my ability to do it anyway, then who would take over? nobody. But on the positive note, it's fun to think about what ifs. Anyhow, in 10 minutes from now I am going to make another cup of tea, it helps me to relax. -
It's good to have friends who support one another through difficult times. Vaccines are helpful, best not to look at it while it is being done.

Same here, what keeps me motivated is friends I mean. However I fear abusers may exploit my weaknesses as well, I'm generally forgiving toward people however sometimes some people have said in the past on other social media I'm too nice. I don't like to hold grudges though, personal experience is that adds to the problems, so I need a balance of when to let somebody go and when not to. I've had experiences where forgiveness toward others has paid off, not monetarily, I mean metaphorically, old arguments are water under the bridge and all that. I wished we could all be friends, unfortunately in the real world, some people exploit us for money or hurting others. I don't want to hurt people here, I just want to see people have fun. I need guidance sometimes though. -
Portable music players may have the advantage of superior battery life to smartphones, in addition to a balanced headphone output which depending on the power requirements of your headphones, could be useful, however modern headphones have such high sensitivity these days that it hardly matters anymore. Another feature to look for with portable music players which mattered to me, is SD card slot. I have one.

I agree, and nah you don't need to apologize, you did nothing wrong. I made it clear before what my wishes were, and being called a pegasus brought a smile to my face, I don't know about everyone else, which is why I try to be careful about it. Sometimes here, on this forum, I use phrases like "everypony" but only for lighthearted fun. Unless somebody explicitly declares they wish to be called what their OC is, I don't take it further than that. If they did not mind being called what their OCs are, then the conversation turns out like this.

I don't wish to assume anything about you, however I take no offence about being called a pegasus, it's a transformation I'd happily embrace if given the option as a symbol of my love for Equestria, none of us can go there except for the realms of Hasbro's fiction, dream worlds. I wonder what accents we'd have if we lived there, I imagined myself with an old wild west accent, like Applejack's, it seems more likely to be the case than the British one I do now. I couldn't care less, the thought of speaking like her would not bother me at all, though it might some people. As long as we have a good heart and are polite, our native language or accent does not matter.

Thank you, I like it when other people share theirs, it helps to make more sense out of why we would want to be a pony character in Equestria. Just saying we wish to be a pegasus, unicorn, earth pony or alicorn doesn't do it for me, it's vague, and without a reason why, it can make it seem like people are joking rather than serious, it is fine to have humour, but there is a difference. However when people share their fantasies or their fan fictions of the MLP world they wish to exist in, we get a clearer picture of what their intentions are. Big bang? well, there's that, I doubt the metaphysical aspect of Equestria would change the fact that their universe still expands and perhaps had an origin. Even in fiction, space and time is still a fundamental aspect of the physical world the characters live in, you may even say, as far as fantasy goes, metaphysical could be considered a 5th fundamental force, magic does not exist IRL, but had it been real, messing with magic could make or break reality.

Why I like making friends here, it is because they don't belittle me for being sensitive, nor judge me too harshly for flaws. I share a common interest, and I can be more open about being an MLP fan. They try to lift my mood as I would try for them. In short, it is okay to be vulnerable, it is okay to care, both for other people and ourselves.
