Here, I drew this about 3 months ago, but I forgot to post it. I'm pretty sure you all know about "Avatar: The legend of Korra" Well anyway, I drew the bad guy, Amon, In somewhere around 30 minutes I think?

Wow, that's neat. May I ask more about him, like his name, why you made him, and something interesting about him? I used to have a character named "Jeff" and he was always the voice I used to express myself. You drew that really nice though.

Nevermind then... What you are accusing me of, isn't what I am trying to say. I'm not saying that it is a real physical being that can kill, or injure you, but It can trick your mind and make it FEEL like your hurt. As I go "Deep into thought" about it, it involves the "supernatural" which not a lot of people believe. It probably doesn't make sense to you, because it sort of hints towards religious tragedies, and connections with the scriptures. I am not hear to preach anything, so I will shut up...

All you need to do right now, is look for pictures of ponies that you could draw off of. If you look at the proportions of the show ponies, you can really learn how to improve. You are really good at drawing them with clean lines, which is what I have trouble with. Another thing, the chest and the hip needs to be closer together. Try to make your pony more cartoony, and round.

Just to know, you can get better information on tulpas by searching multiple places on the internet... If your curious about something that I think, you can ask me. Otherwise, go google tulpas and find out what you need. I am interested in the fact that my most quoted sentence was; 'Please don't just make a tulpa for the heck of it, for it is a delicate situation.'. Everypony has seemed to notice that more than everything else I wrote. I don't want people to be overly obsessed about tulpas...I was when I first heard about it. ______________________ Now about "good" and "bad" tulpas... Yes the decision is yours... at the beginning. As you give your tulpa the ability to think for itself, and giving it it's own identity, it can be very risky. You can choose it's personality, and it's other traits that make it who you want it to be. Well... later on they separate from your creative mind, then dwell on the universe of your mystical subconscious. Good energy coming from a tulpa, means that the things that you don't think about, are good things... Many people have terrible things that happen to them, therefor, your tulpa could become that terrible thing recreated into a physical form. ____________________________ Think of this: "Your past is full of anger; thus your tulpa can become anger but in a physical form." or... "If your past is filled with sadness; your tulpa can be sadness." ______________________ Tulpae is very complicated, and you never can truly know what is at stake until you try it. I call it "a risk of your well being". A tulpa is always with you, and won't leave you unless you destroy it. Your tulpa has infinite access to you, and chooses when to be with you. They watch every move you do, listen to every word you say, and can hear EVERY scream of the past that haunts you. Again, look into every aspect of tulpae before taking that risk. __________________________________________ *DEEP INTO THOUGHT* Here is something else I've realized that scares me... What if your tulpa turned against you?? This is probably the thing that no one here wants to think about. Maybe in your mind you are telling yourself that 'tulpas can share happiness with you' and that 'they will always be your companion'. A fully developed tulpa can do whatever it pleases without you permission, and are unpredictable as sentient beings. If the human brain was made into a computer, the hard drive would hold over 100 terabytes in memory... THAT'S A LOT! If a tulpa can take anything out of that, then you can never be sure what they will do next. According to all of the things I have read about tulpas, you can interact with them using your 5 senses. What if they were angry? Could they attack you? I'm just saying that they could affect you physically, as much as mentally. ________________________________ *EVEN DEEPER INTO THOUGHT* These tulpas can act as poltergeists... they can be motivated to do horrible things, and they could even possibly be inhabited by bad spirits. Do any of you know the T.V. series; "Ghost Hunters"? They like to go out and anger ghosts to get evidence of their exsistance. After a lot of experience, and observations, the ghost hunters say: "The ghosts feed off of the energy of your fear... all they want is power, and they will do anything to get it. The times when we get random scratches and cuts are when we are scared, or when we anger the spirits." Bad spirits are trying to get power... Well? How do they get power? I don't want to have any ghost possess my tulpa... this is just deep into thought, and it's a theory I have thought of... ________________________________ . .. ... I don't want to talk much about tulpae anymore. I am fascinated, yet overwhelmed as these thoughts consume my view on this... I know this "tulpa" thing is cool, but please, take it seriously. I got past the personality part, but I stopped when I did extra research about how Tulpas could affect your life... If they have access to your subconscious mind, and if they think for them self, then they could be potentially draining your thoughts and taking you away from reality. Tulpas sound interesting to a lot of people. I am fascinated with this Tibetan philosophy, although I find hints of darkness to it. ______________________________________________ Here is a way I put the dark side of Tulpa/thought-form: "A tulpa/thought-form can act as a poisoning agent, and poison all the springs of life....A violent dislike, a gnawing worry, a jealousy, a constant anxiety, and a longing for something or someone, may act so potently as an irritant or poison that the entire life is spoiled, and service is rendered futile. The entire life is embittered and devitalized by the embodied worry, hatred and desire....and is held back by the poison in his mental system. His vision becomes distorted, his nature corroded, and all his relationships impeded by the wearing, nagging thoughts which he himself embodies in form and which have a life so powerful that they can poison him." ______________________________________________ I'm not saying that this is always a bad thing, but why would you put in all of that time of thinking into a pointless hallucination? There are other good types of meditation, which can shape who you are, and help you to have a good future. These thoughts and meditations can help you achieve, and create the life that you really want. A positive thought can push you towards a future, while a tulpa could possibly hold you back. A tulpa reflects your life experiences, good or bad, while a positive meditation can make your life better. The outcome of your tulpa depends on the events of your past life. Tulpas have access to your memories, so if you have had a tragic event in your life that you want to forget about, it can boldly express the thought without your approval. Think about it: if you just healed from a terrible experience that barely happened to you (ex: someone dying in your family), a tulpa would most likely pull that out, and reflect your grief of the day they died. I have some regrets and events that I don't like to think about... If I had made a tulpa, I would probably loose my sanity... ___________________________________________________________________________ I recommend a different type of thought, but similar to the process of building a tulpa: Think of the same things that you did with building your tulpa, like the personality. Now, instead of imagining a separate being with these traits, imagine yourself with them. Try to think of your future, and not of your past. Try to imagine, and visualize yourself as a successful person. Just like a tulpa, your mind, with deep thought, can create the person that you want to be... ___________________________________________________ I'm just trying to make a point, and I'm not trying to convince anypony that 'Tuplas are bad'. If you strongly feel that tulpae is helping you live a good life, then you should stick with it. It would be cool to have my own little Dashie though. Please don't just make a tulpa for the heck of it, for it is a delicate situation. Personally, I am not going to experiment with tulpae. I think it's amazing, yet scary, how you can bring a sentient being to reality. I was OBSESSED about tulpae when I first heard about it... glad that I did my research. Starting now, I'm going to continue on with my life, and avoid things that could possibly manifest bad energy, and prevent me from having a good future.

I know why you wouldn't put a regular "Non-pony related master thread" on this site (because it would be pointless, and just show a bunch random videos that people already know about), but I wanted to know if you could put in a thread that was meant for posting your own non-pony related videos. What if it's not an artistic thing that should be posted in Octavia's hall, and it was just a cool video that you uploaded yourself? I like to make videos of me doing something crazy, or doing cool tricks, but I can't find the place you would post such a thing... Mods, If there is some sort of thing like that already, then please tell me and lock this suggestion.

That is just beautiful... I looked at the views on it's youtube, and I have to say that IT NEEDS MORE VEIWS!!! I adore how the song is first piano music, then it starts to sound like TSFH (Two Steps From Hell, if you don't know them, you have to listen to them). I subscribed to your youtube channel, I'm "TheChineseLionTamer". I've been trying to write my own piano songs, and I can't make it near as beautiful as you do... I just love this. PS: Please teach me your ways!!!
