This is one of my all time favorite episodes. But one thing I really wished, is that there was some kind of aftermath. Like if the comic existed back then, I would've loved for there to be a mini issue on what happened after the Gala. I used to have all kinds of fancy scenarios, but I've forgotten them. Another thing I loved is how when you actually analyze their objectives, It's actually pretty comical. Applejack wants to solicit Apples at a public event with free food Fluttershy is socially awkward Pinkie wants to turn a formal gathering into a rave Twilight has very low goals Rainbow Dash is an attention horse and best of all Rarity wants to get laid. Also, I really felt bad about Rarity and Blue blood especially, so I made up the headcanon that Blueblood isn't naturally an A-hole he just wants her to learn that she can't select her men because of their prestige.

Well, going by the rules of other mythologies: Spike is going to live the longest. He's a freaking Dragon and Dragons can be ancient. While I personally believe in the "Alicorns = gods" thing, I don't think Twilight or Cadence for that matter, is on the same level as Celestia and Luna. Hell, even their hair tells us that. Twilight and Cadence have regular pony hair, meanwhile the Solar sisters have glowing waves. That right there says to me that they're a few rungs above the others. @Commander_PonyShep I really don't know what it is, but something about the stories in the Book and the comics make me uneasy. I suppose it has something to do with me preferring to have important stuff in the show rather than something I don't care enough to really look into.

I wear a lot of purple now. And I try to see past groups and labels and look at the individual, because I hate being stereotyped and I know a lot of you guys do too.

I hate the people who make us all look bad, I have my own words for them, but I'll spare you all the pain of learning them. Like Deviants who make these poorly drawn crossovers, I mean I'm no Picasso but even I can tell bad artwork. I hate all these Anon/human in Equestria fanfics because they just end up being 10 chapters of someone wanting to plow Fluttershy. I especially hate the people who bring up Ponies out of nowhere and then make a fool out of themselves. Another thing are those who treat Fanon like Canon and Fans of the Fandom. Besides that, I'm okay. Most of my anger is focused on the Anti Fanbase, who rely on the stereotypes these people create and then project them on to all of us. Because as we all know: Just because one brony is a weirdo and possibly a sociopath, we all are. Honestly, I just wish I was a big name. That way people would listen when I say that not all of us are the same freaks you see making diaper fan art and building literal shrines to Rainbow Dash.

You know a year ago, I predicted an event would occur. An event that would split the fandom right in half, where there's one side passionately for and another vehemently against a conflict that would very likely tear our friendships apart, split the seas and turn Brony meetups into World War 3. Lo and Behold, Mzuark was right and as it turns out I'm on the side defending. I should probably inform you that that feeling you have, the one that changed. It was most likely your pure euphoria for FiM. The thing that shut your mind to critique, filled you with happiness and pride and basically made everything in the show rose tinted and lovely. It expires after 3 months....no refunds. I consider myself a type of, expert for this because my experience with actually watching the show was pretty chaotic. Season 1, as you know introduced us right? It was how most of us first saw the show, it was where the euphoria bled from. It was not perfect, it was in no way free of flaw or at all different fromm the other seasons except in one respect: You're still new to these characters, to this world, so itt's still exciting. You know what, I completely lost track of what I was getting at. The point is, nothing changed, cheer up. Everything's going to be just fine.

The way I see it: It'd be a much better idea to keep Twi an Alicorn. They've made that leap, and they can't just go back. I can not imagine the pure rage that would embroil the fandom if all of this, the finale, the twist, the build up, the songs, all of it was jjust smashed and returned to Status Quo. Plus, her having wings isn't the end of the world. I really hope that I won't have to deal with any claims of Mary Sueness or Shark jumping around here like I do on other forums. If anything, this shows that they're ready to make leaps and bounds with the show. This lasting change is them, the crew, saying "Screw you Status Quo, we're doing our own thing" And I'm so happy about that.

What are the positive qualities of Rainbow Dash?
Mzukiller replied to Princess Twilight's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Ohoho, I'm offended. Of course I watch the show, how else do you think i've come to this conclusion? And before you ask, no I won't point out ever little moment where she proves my point....cause well that'd take a while. And why does everyone assume she's been any better in season 2 or 3? Yeah she's improved a tad, but let's be honest here there are plenty of episodes where that pure arrogance still shows. And you know what? I've accepted that, that's just who Rainbow is. but nowhere does it say that I have to like her. -

I'll just step in here and inform you all that I hate Rainbow Dash with a burning passion. I look at her, and I see nothing but that asshole jock that kicked the crap out of you in High School or worse, that very same jock who just doesn't know how to shut up. Always bragging abot their accomplishments and making themselves the center of attention every day. -
I just can't believe he's gone (Half rant/Half topic)
Mzukiller replied to Mzukiller's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Oh I completely agree, even freaking Chrysalis got better build up. The only explanations that I'm willing to accept is that 1. King Sombra was thrown in last minute, so they had no idea how to make him work 2. EVerything they could do with him was a little too dark for a kids show, so to tone him down without completely removing him they reduced his lines, screentime, everything. Honestly, I just want to know what went wrong in relation to like....Discord. Could they not get a good VA? Was teh episode too full of new stuff as is? What happened man? -
Let me tell you kids what i told eveyrone else I know. I like this episode, I really do. BUT 2 things 1. After the conflict is resolved, 13 minutes in. It just turns into Twilight getting jacked off, As sensual as that thought is 2. The music REALLY takes away from everything else. Add to that how BIG an event like coronation is, you've got yourself a criminally compressed plot. But when it DOES become "jerking Twilight off" it's done pretty well, especially topping it off with the "It'll all be okay" 7.5 - 8/10 It's good, but trying to please so many people may have hindered it. As bad as it may sound, it's pretty weak compared to other finales. BUT I have hope that when Season 4 kicks off, we'll be calling this the Best Arc ever.

Before I start, I just want to say: I barely come here so if this has been done to death, forgive me. I just can't believe he's gone, King Sombra I mean. I know that I'm practically the only brony in the world that truly loved him as a villain, but good lord man it hurts. I thought Crystal Empire was fine, I thought he was imposing, I thought he could go places. Heck, I'd even go so far to say that Sombra was my favorite villain. *Insert string of exagerrated gasp here* Yeah, yeah I know "Why not Discord Mzu!" Because I don't consider him a villain anymore, technically the only REAL villain is Sombra since Chrysalis was just trying to feed her kids. Discord's....an errand boy. Nightmare Moon is a close second though, she was pretty cool. But moving on.... He died, the first death in the series...besides that other guy. And recently I figure they practically confirmed that he's not coming back. They said "We tried to make him cool and we basically failed" I'm paraphrasing like hell of course. Well, in closing: Life is cruel. How did/does everyone else feel about the loss of the king and due to popular demand: Let's talk about Discord's fall from villainhood too. Did it work for you? Would you have done the episode differently? Are you as shellshocked as I am? So yeah, I'll levae you too it.

Yeah, we are. The only real difference is that we're not the most hated fandom on the internet, yet anyway. I feel bad that furries have been attacked by CSI, Jerry Springer and the meanies on 4chan. It's especially pathetic that so many bronies are vehemetly against furries. Even though we are the same thing: Fans of anthropomotphic animals.

It's low. Like extremely low, that they need to attack us and make us all look like creepy, horny, nutjobs. I'm actually disgusted by how other bronies ttreat cloppers as subhuman just because. And of course I've now accepted that All Youtube Commenters are complete assholes that feel so emboldened behind a computer that they think we should be put into concentration camps just because of a show that we like. Then their are the bronies who "defend" us by saying "I'm a brony and I thought it was Hilarious!" If anything, that makes us look so weak. The biggest injustice is that, whatever negative feedback Collegehumor gets will be completely obscured by the collection of Anti-Bronies and Clop-haters. Yes, there own popularity assures that no one will learn any lesson and that the only people who care will be people like me. Who are few and far between.

Honestly guys, you need to stop ragging on the cloppers. I have 1 good reason as to why Cloppers shouldn't bother you: They aren't you. What they do in privacy is no more our business than what they have for breakfast. The people who generalize us as horse f**king pedophiles are not going to change their opinions even IF we manage to breed out clopping entirely. They're gonna stay the exact same intolerant bigots that they introduced themselves as. We are a community, not a cult. Which means that not all Bronies do the same things. Btw, stop being total dicks to eachother because of clopping. We need to have a united front, not tear ourselves apart at the seams because 1 out of every hundred bronies is weird. On clopping in general, who are you to tell someone else what to do with their body? Let's all just grow up here.

How much I love Twilight
