  1. When people make me uncontrollably angry, I just tell myself "you control yourself, do not let others control you". Sometimes it helps. I agree with Blue that anger is an emotion and there is nothing wrong with it. It's just when you loose control of yourself and who you are that it becomes a problem.
  2. Nothing wrong with that . At least you know that it's a responsibility that you don't want or need. Some people think it's going to be all fun and games or get it for their kids to "teach them to be responsible" and then decide later that it's too much work *cough, Farah from Teen Mom*. Then they abandon their animals, dump them, kill them or just stop taking care of them. It would be better if they were like you and realized it's an animal and a responsibility. Sadly enough people do this a lot with their kids too Personally I'd rather take care of an animal than a human (I do nooooooooot want any sort of baby; I like them just not for me). Much cheaper .

  5. I have problems showing emotions but when I do get angry I turn very red, start shaking, and am almost uncontrollable. I've been informed that's because I need to express my emotions every day.
  6. Um, dogs (not sure if you just meant yappy little dogs or all dogs) are extreeeeeeeeeemly useful and are one of the animals that have aided humans the most throughout our journey through civilization. In fact most breeds of dogs simply want to serve you and nothing else, and they were created to serve a purpose and each breed is fine tuned for something. And you can teach them to do practically anything you need them to do. You may not know what their purpose is when you first meet them but they can surprise you. My aunt has a Viszla which are not mousers, but he caught 27 mice in her apartment (yes she moved) and deterred some crazy people from trying to get all the way in her window. Then of course there are the guide dogs, bomb sniffing dogs, companion dogs, cancer detecting dogs, police dogs, search and rescue dogs, fishing dogs, attack dogs, guard dogs, epilepsy dogs, therapy dogs, big game hunting dogs, rat catching dogs, flushing dogs, war dogs, herding dogs, sled pulling dogs, bird dogs, watch dogs and just all around amazing dogs that come to their owner's aid when most needed. End scene Anywho... my list is 1. Dogs. I've had one ever since I was 3. I come from a hardcore big dog farming family and even though none of farm now there's always a dog. Dogs are amazing creatures and after I did a paper in high school about how they influenced how humans evolved and it was really cool. They're the only animal that inherently knows what a human pointing a finger in a direction means and are very good at reading our facial expressions. They also make me very happy. 2. Cats :3 I've never had a kitty but I wuv them. No one in my family is overly fond of cats mostly because of allergies and the older folks kind of view them as pointless, except my aunt who had a himalayan (only cat I've never been allergic to). So, to compensate, I cat sit for other people and play with the neighborhood cats. One thing I really like about cats is that they always seem to know something that you don't, and they know this. I plan on getting one one day and getting allergy shots 3. Horses/ ponies. I horseback ride and have loved them since I first saw MLP a loooong time ago. They all have really diverse personalities, can be very playful (one I knew like playing "throw my dish out of my stall and watch the humans run to get it" "grab the construction cone and gallop away from the humans" "fetch the jollyball, pretend to give it to the humans and then hold it above their heads"), are very in tune to what you are feeling, and the partnership between you and the horse is amazing. I like drafts best.
  7. It's cold and I can't spell.

  8. I think that this should be an actual tv show. The whole war apocolypse thing is pretty interesting.
  9. I'll be the first Christian to say that there might not be a God but frankly I'm more along the side that there is one (not a big man in the sky, but more like the force that created, nurtured, and made us to be creatures that have the will to choose between right and wrong) I can believe all I want, and people who do not believe can not believe all they want but frankly the only truth of the matter is (at least in my head) we aren't going to know what is or is not true until we are dead. And since none of us have been dead (if you have been, please raise your hand) I don't think that any of us really know. And I think at some point we all have doubts. We're human. I used to go the science is proving religion wrong route until I took Astronomy in college. What that class taught me is that although we might think we know so much about our world and our universe truthfully there is so much more we don't know. We learn new things every day about the universe, humans, evolution, the earth etc. Personally, one day I think that elements of all religion might actually be proven by science. That is just what I believe. And as for hating atheists, all I can say is that there is no room for hate in Christianity or the world. And I really hate doing this (haha, yes I hate) but... I have to put a Biblical something out there: John 13 34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another" I'm not an expert on religion or humanity but I truly believe that the only way humanity can get anywhere positive is if we put aside our differences and care for one another. Those are just my beliefs. I don't claim to be right and I am not trying to convert or influence anybody. That is what is in my head and I hope that you will all continue to share what you have in your heads too BTW, this is the most civil conversation about religion that I have EVER read. Seriously. I love you guys!!!
  10. Aww, thanks for posting that! I loved Teen Titans and Raven was one of my favorite characters along with Beast Boy. I think her being Timmy was obvious too.
  11. Me too. I made myself watch Twilight before hating it. I saw it and now I'm an advocate for no more Edward. There were guys into My Little Pony way before FIM and they had it bad. People were like, why are you collecting a little girl's toy weirdo? One lady who works with me says her older brother collected ponies in the 80s. He was a closet fan of course. There would have been no mercy. We are awesome people, we are.
  12. I likey this very much. I like Sweetie Bot's song about how she loves her sister Applejack
  13. Trying my very hardest to fall asleep but I hate strangers and my sister brought her boyfriend over for a slumber party and to me he is a stranger and I cannot sleep with strangers in my house.
  14. GO TO BED NOW MOFOS!!!!!!!! I love ya'll in a non romantic or emotional way :)

  15. A history of the new phenomenon sounds a lot less tedious than the history of the ancient phenomenon (well it was a phenomenon amongst preschoolers in my day and there were boys that liked mlp before bronies) When you write it, even if you don't talk about the previous Gs in depth I'd at least provide a link or something to the history of them just in case anyone is interested and to give some credit to, I guess our ancestors... it's like pony lover evolution almost. You'd have like Homo Sapiens Pretty Pony, Homo Sapiens Little Pony, Homo Sapiens Pony Tales, Homo Sapiens Friendship Gardens, Homo Sapiens New Little Pony, Homo Sapiens What the Hell, and Homo Sapiens Brony. We are the most evolved! Include pictures!!!!! In case they can't read.
  16. Maybe this might help? It covers from the era of My Pretty Pony to Friendship is Magic. I have a feeling bronies wouldn't be very into My Pretty Pony But, without it, there would be no My Little Pony and no Friendship is Magic. http://mylittleponyworld.com/ And here's who invented it from this site http://inventors.about.com/od/mstartinventions/a/my_little_pony.htm Hasbro received a design patent for "an ornamental design for a toy animal". The patent (U.S. #D269986) was filed in August of 1981 and granted in August of 1983. The inventors were Bonnie D. Zacherle of Norwood, MA, Charles Muenchinger of Providence, RI, and Steven D. D'Aguanno of Greenville, RI. And these talk mostly about the shows. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MyLittlePony http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Forgive me if you did not want help but trying to help people is my problem. I think it's a great idea and that you should go for it.

  18. I know that when you think about it reeeaaally hard, religion seems kind of silly but for some reason even though I consider myself religious, I thought the idea of angels was a bit silly. I don't know why. Maybe it's because they resemble Nike too much. Aren't angels not supposed to have free will?
  19. Now where on earth is the logic behind this? I got a pony sewing pattern today so maybe I'll sew my own Rarity (not from velvet and quality not superb) and buy the 3DS. I did hear about it being bad for your eyes but I heard that was just from the 3d part and it can be turned off. That's the only reason I even considered it, I'm no 3d fan.
  20. Reading is definitely a big hobby of mine and has been since kindergarten (for some reason now my doc thinks that I display some signs of dyslexia, such as the dbp thing, but this has never kept me from books). I also love painting, drawings and other arty things. Can't go without it. Writing stories is like breathing for me. It has to be done or else StarGazer will cease to exist. For specific things I indulge in, I loooove the Harry Potter books, the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (I like to watch it but couldn't tell you Tatooine from Naboo) and Little House on the Prairie. I also like old tv shows like I Love Lucy, Green Acres and Leave it to Beaver. And Disney movies. Where would I be without my Disney movies? Then there's my dog, Charlie who is crying at me right now, and nature. I must have nature time at least every other day to function or else I get angsty. Last but not least is sleeping. Apparently this has been an indulgence of mine since day 2 of my life and so I don't get why my parents are surprised when I like to sleep in They encouraged this as a baby.
  21. We should have "send StarGazer all your money day so that she can buy useless crap she doesn't need" day And an All Hail Rarity month.
  22. Watch Teen Mom or paint Luna? Trash TV or pay homage to a pony demi-goddess, tis my question?

  23. Trade you for 5 bits and a lock of Celestia's mane. I want this bitch. I plan on entering it in the Westminster Dog show. Yeah. If Atheists don't believe in a higher power I'm pretty sure they don't worship the devil. Wouldn't make any sense...
  24. What I meant was that right after I got my clunky DS, then came DS Lite. And then came DSi. I was really happy with my Gameboy Advance SP but I thought I needed to upgrade. Now of course I wish I had saved the money and waited silly me. And then I can buy the REAL Rarity!!!! Fabulous!!
  25. I had to go find bronies. They like to hide sometimes.
