Flying Whales

One of the things that makes this show so great is that on one level or another I can connect to each of the Mane 6 on some level. Overall though, I most relate to Fluttershy because I have a few friends and like to keep to myself and AppleJack because I’m always willing to help out my friends in any situation they may be in.

Well, I will say this, there are some characters that I cannot stand. Mainly Gilda and DT, I guess Trixie is somewhat tolerable. In their defense though they have done their job as antagonists. I shouldn’t like them, that isn’t there role in the plot. Of course though there are some exceptions like Discord and Chrysalis. In my mind it isn’t a bad thing to hate characters like DT and Gilda, to me, that just means they played their role in the show.

While I currently do not live in Virginia there is a good chance that by June next year I’ll be living out in Virginia. I might be at Quantico, if you don’t know where that is it is in the northern part of the state around Stafford County.

I know exactly what you mean even though I haven’t really been through any crap in my life. I really love my family, and I’d miss them to death, and my handful of friends I’d miss, but compared to Equestria this world has nothing for me.

Thanks to all of you who responded to this thread. I can take solace knowing I’m not the only one out there who really wishes he or she could kind of get away to Equestria. I suppose we just have to deal with the world we live in now even though it really isn’t ideal. Thanks all of you. Much, much love hahaha

I know a lot of people weren’t thrilled with King Sombra as far as his role in the plot, but I thought this episode was great. Maybe they didn’t want to have such a focus on the antagonist like with Discord and Chrysalis. The episode had its moments. It was great that Princess Celestia and Luna were side by side even though Luna had no real dialogue. I, personally am a big fan of Cadence and Shining Armor so it was great they played a role in the episode. Overall I was very pleased with the season premier, I don’t think it was as good as The Return of Harmony, but still not bad at all.

They were giving me a hard time about it, but I can’t do anything about that I suppose. But I totally understand where you are coming from and it’s really too bad. You know, I’ve heard about lucid dreaming before but I’ve sort of written it off as a myth, and that it really isn’t possible, but you yourself have had some success? Haha it just might be worth dabbling into if I takes me to freaking Ponyville. haha

Pff what’s wrong with that? We all have our own fantasies. Writing about something you’d like to experience isn’t weird at all. You don’t need to be secretive about that.

Yeah, you know if you believe in the theory that there are an infinite number of universes for an infinite number of possibilities then the Equestria we know and love does exist. It’s not that my life is so bad because it’s just fine. I have nothing to complain about but man, our world just seems so dull, and bland in comparison to Equestria. At least I’m not the only out there. Maybe I too have met the wrong people but things right now are just so gray to me. Maybe I just need a girlfriend.

Ahhhhh voice! I see, I didn’t read the topic quite right. If we are talking about which pony I think has the best singing voice then I think it’s Rarity, she out of the Mane 6 has my favorite singing voice.

I think I’m beginning to get to the point with this show where I’m starting to have fantasies of the Mane 6 and all of Equestria being real. I don’t think I’m alone here on this one. It’s just so disappointing that we can’t live in a world so ideal, and innocent. It just makes me kind of sad and a bit cynical. Everyday in Ponyville something exciting happens and everyone is friendly with each other, people help each other out, it's almost a utopia. Plus, my love for the show really makes me wish I can meet these characters, I can connect with all of them and feel as if they are friends of mine. With all of that said if any of you feel the same way how do you deal with it? Because right now it kind of stinks, I’d love to live in Ponyville and bake a cake with Pinkie Pie or buck some apples with AppleJack, hell, I’d even go shopping with Rarity or something. The show is just so amazing. It sucks none of it can be real.

This question is so hard I guess I’d have to choose between which song I like more? I love Art of the Dress, I can’t remember the name of the song Chrysalis sang in A Royal Canterlot Wedding, but that was just epic, and Pinkie Pie’s Smile Song is probably the most positive thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life. Can I just choose the entire cast?

Hmm well to me it seems right. I mean the pegasus ponies are responsible for the weather of all of Equestria, Celestia and Luna are responsible for raising the sun and the moon everyday. That is a lot of responsibility. To me that seems fair enough. Plus there hasn’t been a large enough representation of any other creature for it to seem even reasonable for another to rule over Equestria. So, in short no I don’t believe it is unfair.
