Has Being a Brony Changed Your Life? How?
iLegovideo replied to jacibobsthebrony's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Did I already reply to the topic? Well, I'm replying anyway. Being a brony has definitely changed me. I had a better reputation. It's hard for me to put my finger on it, but it has changed the way I think of my friends. Being a brony changed the way i lived in a way. Sorry if I'm being pretty vague, but it's really vague for me too . I know MLP has changed me, and look at me now. I hope you caught most of that. -
Of course you haven't let us down! Being a brony is all about love and tolerance, but buying toys and all that is optional. I personally do not buy MLP toys because they are not very accurate in my opinion. My sister has bought me pony cards this Christmas, though. Being a brony is free. Buying toys does not make you a brony, but can make you a brony. We're all about love and tolerance. We just have to remember that at times.

So a police officer knocked on the door looking for me...
iLegovideo replied to Nothing&NoOne's topic in General Discussion
Best cop ever. If a cop came to my house, and if they were looking for me, I would be shutting the windows and locking the doors, only to find out I get fee stuff. -
Hmmm, so we're talking about your brothers or just or our siblings in general? Well, I'm going to talk about both. I have one older sister who is in college. She just came back for Christmas recently. She's the best sister I could ask for. She didn't discriminate me when I first started being a brony. If anything, she encouraged it. Heck, she fell into the epic pony trap! I don't have any other siblings, but I consider my friends as an extending realm of my family. In fact, I consider this growing fandom as my family. About your brothers... Well I'm just going to talk about your older brother. Why don't you tell him? I know you're afraid of discrimination, but aren't we all? He's your brother. He should accept you no matter what your interests are. Even if he spreads word to the internet and beyond about you being gay for watching the show, us bronies will be there to support you.

I would blast music wherever I went...If my parents let me bring my tablet. <_< . I love getting in the car and blasting the brony music in the car. It's what I live for. Of course, I don't go shouting down the hall either. . I'm a brony, not a missionary. I'm not a "sexy and I know it" brony, if you know what I mean. I agree that what you like is whatever you think about it, not what the general audience thinks. Same. I was HIDING EVERY SINGLE sign that I was a brony, and it worked...until my sister turned on my computer. Everyone knows I'm a brony, but only a few really critisize me, but they are not effective. O...M...G.... I thought my parents were blind. I was afraid of being criticized by my family at first. When they found out, they basically forgot who I was and got out the anti-brony arsenal. Eventually, I won, but I won because all this led up to an argument about "equality" and "respect" when they weren't respecting my interests. It was ironic, really. I wish I had shirts...but I have wallets I made, so that kind of counts as "swag." Quite ironically, I have met a lot of bronies and pegasisters BECAUSE they saw my wallets. Why wait? What's the worst that can happen? Don't say that you're a brony directly. Instead, use a reference, like "That was 20% cooler", or "This is THE WORST POSSIBLE THING!". It's corny, but it works for me. I generally start conversations about ponies now . Yeah, my parents COMPLETELY questioned the show. I said "Don't close the tabbb!!!" when she saw it. It took my mom a REALLY long time for her to understand what a brony was. Ya gotta love them pegasisters....especially them smexy ones. I kid, I kid. Man, you are one of the lucky ones. my parents weren't as considerate as your parents at first, but they are starting to approve if the show.

NO! Don't make Rarity cry! I still haven't made out with her! Wait, did I just say that? . Seriously? The world's going to end? Well, I don't disbelieve it, but no need to make a thread about it. We are bronies to the end, no?

You...you...LEGO MURDERER!! jk. jk. I don't mind seeing Lego destroyed, as long as it doesn't belong to me. . Why would you put on more than one pair of underwear?

I always had mixed feelings about this topic. You can say I do believe in aliens...but at the same time, I also doubt it. I want to believe that this planet is the only planet with life. It seems almost stupid to jump to the conclusion that we are the only planet with life, but at the same time, it seems far-fetched to say that we are in reach of extraterrestrial life. That's where i come to my conclusion. I say that we may NOT be the only planet with life, but we cannot seek INTELLIGENT life that have technology within our reach.

Man, what a lonely life. I'm lucky to be around bronies and pegasisters every day at school. Tell your family. you never know what you'll expect. Even if they do not approve of the show, be persistent and keep lovin' and toleratin'. My family didn't approve of the fandom at first, but I kept on being persistent. Now, they are pretty tolerant. Also, you have us. We'll give you advice to muster through the family barrier of doom.
