As for the game itself, loving it.  Slightly disappointed that it's 720p upscaled, but that's a minor gripe.

 

I hear everybody saying that the 720p and lack of AA is bugging them, but honestly, I can barely tell... And it's not like I have bad eyes or don't notice that kind of thing... Pixelation bugs me as well, but I just don't notice it that much in MK8. Maybe it's the otherwise amazingly gorgeous visuals distracting me, or maybe it's because I sit 15 feet away from the TV.

I updated the list. Although I still might have missed somebody, as I mostly skimmed over posts. =P

 

And I probably won't be playing today (I have to go to bed =( ). But trust me, I don't know that I'm worth playing anymore. lol. I'm lucky to come out in top in online matches. The game seems set on destroying me somewhere in the race, and then keeping me down by giving me bad items as opposed to everybody else. =(

no its set on destroying me too I all most allways get last online even in races with the items turned off I get my ass kicked

That's like me right now on Battle Mode. My team's gotten their ass kicked in the past 2 and a half hours or so now! It's so infuriating. It's literally driven me this crazy!:

EDIT: And just dropped in on Felix playing in Battle mode.  That was the first time I've played the new Battle mode.  I had heard it's not very good and it isn't.  Then I got disconnected.

I honestly hated battle mode at first. After a lot of playing of it though it's pretty fun actually! I switched to racing anyway, though. That's still more fun.

If I ever get one, I would always use Yoshi. And Baby Luigi on some occasions... Seriously. Stampylongnose just DOMINATED DanTDM using Baby Luigi on Mount Wario!

 

And for Yoshi... He is just epic. He has a potential to be the most overpowered characters in the arcade version!

Mario Kart 8 is on the Wii U, 7 is on the 3DS (though I think plenty of us have that one too).

 

Anyway, cool racing with Mixbeat and Felix and whoever else might have dropped in.  I gotta stop for the night; my left hand is cramping up like crazy.  9 hours using a crummy studio tablet followed by 3 hours of video games probably isn't great for my extremities.
