ggg-2 3,553 June 4, 2014 Share June 4, 2014 At the end of "Hearts and Hooves Day", the Crusaders were punished by having to do all of Big Mac's chores for an unspecified amount of time. (though it's most likely that it was only for the rest of the day.) However, am I alone in thinking that sounds a bit extreme for 3 fillies of that age? As stated in the episode, Big Mac works VERY hard, and who knows how many chores he does in a day. (not to mention having to plow the fields) So do you think their punishment was a bit too much? They're quite good at hijinks, so that should definitely translate into doing more menial tasks. They'd just have to smartly split the work. Whether this is because they are developmentally disabled or because they are not ready to mature is not yet known. Either way, the marks and their own personal skills are far behind a normal foal at the same age. What this means is that the cutie mark crusaders may benefit even from excessive punishment. There's 3 of them, and only 1 big mac, so I'm sure they could work it out. If you had a group of children try to enslave your mind to someone else would you let them off that easy? They caused quite a bit of chaos around town, though they were trying to do something nice, it didn't really turn out that well! I'd say the got off lucky. (though, I had a thought that perhaps Big Mac and Cheerilee each set aside their dessert/part of their picnic as a way of rewarding the girls for a job well done and an apology for making them work so hard) Don't be a nerd.
