Hey guys! Psst!

 

The World Cup Ceremony ended with such jubilation after the video! Sterling was so amazed he passed out while the ponies were cheering! Come over to the main World Cup thread now as Sweetie Belle and Shining prepare for the official beginning of the 2014 MLPF World Cup! Anthems to be played at 8:30 pm EST!

And now it's time to turn our attention to the field as tonight's opening match is just under an hour from faceoff!

For me, I'm on Team any of the mane six (mostly Pinkie ) and team sweetie Belle. I will also root for whoever I prefer in matches

Well yeah!  I mean, it's not everyday you get a chance to see the world's largest blueberry muffin, am I right?  Besides, I wasn't about to let my little muffin miss out on seeing that, that's for sure.

Alright, admittedly it was a pretty huge muffin.  I'm just a little disappointed I didn't get to eat it is all.  Hello world, it's Batbrony here!  I've personally volunteered to act this World Cup as Derpy (and Dinky's) personal trainer/coach/groupie (if that makes sense).  Basically, I'll be following them around here everywhere they go (and no, before you say anything, it's not creepy because I got their consent, so there!!!   ).

 

We're really excited to be here everypony, and hope that you all turn out to support the two of us.   

 

But most importantly, have fun!

Aw it's OK Batty, one question won't hurt.  Well, I can't honestly say how I'll do in the Cup, but I think I have as much a chance as anypony does of winning the whole thing, same as Dinky.  I know there's a lot of people out there who seem to really like the two of us, and I'm just hoping they show up to throw their support behind us when we need it most.  But most of all I just want everyone to have fun and be good sports.

 

You heard her everypony, VOTE DERPY (or Dinky), VOTE DERPY (or Dinky)!!!!!!!!!!!  Now then, let's go find our rooms; I swear, if the hotels are as crappy as those shacks in Sochi were, I am going to give the game organizers a piece of my mind.  Later everypony.  We're off!!!    *cue dramatic exit*
