Something I Realized About Anti-Bronies

You're right guys, we are clearly more honourable than them, that's why we trash talk them on a site that is not only anti-brony free (ergo they can't defend themselves), but also one that would ban someone for being an anti-brony. It's clear that the anti-bronies are the hypocrites.

Like this one time I saw a person with a Sonic the Hedgehog saying that bronies were sick and twisted just because of the large amounts of Rule 34 that exists; and I'm just sitting there thinking "Dude, you like Sonic the Hedgehog. Before MLP came around, your fandom was tied with Pokemon for the biggest example of Rule 34."

Haha, that makes me laugh. XD A Sonic fan trying to get all uptight about MLP fans being sick and twisted? He obviously hasn't been a fan for very long.

 

Note: I'm a Sonic fan, and have been ever since the beginning, when the first Sonic game came out for the Master System. And even I can admit that the fandom can get pretty dire at times.

Even though I don't like to admit it. I was an Anti-Brony before I became a Brony. A lot of Anti-Bronies are quite hypocritical and tend to contradict themselves a lot, at least the ones I've interacted with.

 

I remember when I was an Anti-Brony, I had an app on my phone called iFunny that I used quite a lot before it started to suck major balls. Whenever I came across a Pony related picture in the app's Collective, I would jump straight into the comments to watch, or participate in, the massive flame war.

 

As for the Rule 34 TF2 Sprays... Every fandom has its "dark corners" where a lot of the questionable stuff resides. Either that or the people that are using those sprays are trolls.

 

As for people getting their panties in a knot over their favorite franchise being ponified... If a crossover with MLP makes you wretch... Then you're not a true fan of said franchise.

 

However, A lot of Anti-Bronies are just like trolls. They only respond when someone takes their bait.

Just the spray function. People can upload images through the options menu (multiplayer section, specifically) & then "spray" them on the walls, living the image up there for everyone to see. I would recommend looking it up on youtube for more details though, as my powers of explanation are not very good

Since the major run of the anti-bronies & hardcore bronies seems to have run its course, I rarely if ever seen any of them nowadays. Though the only times I would imagine them cropping up on a regular basis would be on MLP servers & the like, where more fans & anti-fans would be located

Not on the ones I go to. Like I said, the majority of these R34 pics were during the height of the brony fandom, where there was enough people to make up a voice but not enough for it to be anything to big, same with the haters. It was that point of the haters & fans being about equal, so there was the most amount of conflicts as the haters were still strong but the fandom was gaining momentum. Your average, everyday server probably won't have these things on them anymore, unless you yourself put them on it or the server is connected to the fandom in some way. If the server hates MLP: FiM, they will spray R34 to make the anti-bronies mad. If the server likes MLP: FiM, then they will spray R34 to make the bronies mad. But since your average server just focuses on the game, this rarely if ever happens & even these servers usually just go under the radar for the bigger targets, ones that have maps dedicated to either adoring or hating the technicolor candy horses we know & love.

The anti bronies at my school are so unbelievable fucking stupid. Sorry for the language but if you haven't read my post Anti bronies are stupid then you don't know what I'm talking about. Seriously take a look at it you will see how hypocritical they are when they call me and my pony friends stupid.

Do I hate the show or bronies as people? Not really, I dislike bronies as a community. Particularly because its size has increased by quite a lot while the quality of the show has not.

Though I'm starting to turn back those thoughts that season 3 dropped in to my head, I haven't finished season 4 but so far it's looking like a huge improvement upon seasons 2 and 3.

I've seen a lot of topics about anti-Bronies, and while I enjoyed reading some of the opinions on them, I usually just don't pay them any mind. If I do, I have a hilarious time debating them. I dunno, just hard for me to get too angry over someone hating on a cartoon show that I like.

 

It's easier if you just approach it without getting angry and staying the calm one.

However, I don't give a flying pinkie pie about anti-bronies. I'm certainly one of our fandom who upholds the 'love and tolerate' motto. If they call me autistic? I tell them I have autism (which I do, just exceedingly mildly) and unless you have it severely it is certainly not a bad thing.

 

Tell me I'm gay? I tell them I'm not, but insulting people because of their sexual preference is a bit... Eh.

 

Tell me I watch pony porn? Again, tell them that they are misinformed; and only <10% or <5% of our fandom are actually into that stuff - and I'm not one of them. I also PRETEND I'm against clop, to ease their pain.

 

So on for every other lacklustre insult they send my way.

Oh hey, you're a respectable anti-brony. I wish more anti-bronies were like you - and didn't spam YouTube comments with "lel ponyfag manchildren xD get a lyfe loosers 1337 4 lief". Then I could negotiate with them, I love hearing other peoples points of view - after all. I just get turned off by people who appear to be acting silly.
