Keep in mind, the genres are mainly Thrash, so they're gonna sound more fast and aggressive if anything. Hope that doesn't ruin the experience. =X

Edit: If it adds to the listening experience, racing games like SSX or something work well with the songs. Especially with Aspid. I fucking love Aspid so much.

Thrash is all good, there's alot of thrash like music on KillingFloor alone X3

But I also really like listening to Slayer or Onslaught when I'm playing LFD, LoL, WoW, Borderlands, or even just grinding on Maplestory

(guilty pleasure) X3

Very interesting - you're an Onslaught fan, that's awesome! I once won a contest to go see them live, but the venue wouldn't let me so I just bought a tour t-shirt and left. I like In Search Of Sanity, but I need to look into their older work, especially The Force. What do you think about Sounds of Violence though?

Eh, for me I didn't care much for Power From Hell, they were still punk at that time and I'm not THAT big of a punk fan but I'll listen to it now and then. The Force was better in my opinion cause they got darker and started converting over to thrash. In Search of Sanity is probably the best album in my opinion, they have SO much going on in that album, I could listen to that fucker on repeat for days on end X3 My favorite song has to be this one though:

I'm not sure how to feel about it honestly. I mean sure it's hard and a great listen to, but for some reason it just doesn't feel like the old Onslaught. It feels a bit modernized, take that how you will. But... eh I guess if I word it to an action it feels more like something I could headbang or circle pit to rather than moshpit to.

I know a guy on another forum who fanboys over Onslaught, so you guys may get along. :P As for Sounds of Violence, I think its because their isn't many songs that go REALLY fucking aggressive - just Born For War and Suicideoelogy. Speaking of which, the main riff from Suicideology sounds similar to Power Play, now that I hear it.

But now you've got my interest. What other Thrash bands you know?

I know a good handful, not a WHOLE lot, but enough to get me by X3 there's Blood Tsunami, Atheist, Dead Brain Cells, Xentrix, Nevermore, Metallica, Messiah, Slayer, Exodust, Pantera, Toxic Holocaust, Venom, Mega Death, and Testament. All I can think of off the top of my head right now, pretty sure there's more on my MP3 player.

Edit: OH I almost forgot Sodom... and I was listening to them as I was typing this too ;~; lol...

Major points to you for Xentrix and Blood Tsunami. Top notch UK band and a fantastic band from Norway. Now, here's some Greek Thrash.

God god, I never realized how horrifying the album art for Obzen really was until I looked at it...

Then you'll get a hoot out of the Wikipedia article involving the album art.

King of the Kill is so fucking awesome. All of you. Listen to it. Especially Second to None, Speed, King of The Kill, Bad Child and Fiasco. Its awesome Heavy Metal with a nice Jazz influence in some songs!

EDIT: ALL OF YOU. LISTEN. NOW.

It's like my brain got blown away by such speed and aggression! HOLY SHIT!

Listened to Destroy Erase Improve yesterday all the way through for the first time. The end of this song and the end of Sol Niger Within are really similar...

Straight from Wikipedia:

The album is a combination of complex jazz elements and the mathematical extreme metal approach of Meshuggah. The disc comprises one long song, which is indexed into 29 tracks. The length of each section ranges from around 20 seconds to 2–3 minutes.] The album contains several references to the work of Meshuggah. The last track, "Tathagata", is very similar in melody to the ending of the song "Sublevels" from Destroy Erase Improve.

The only Meshuggah album I have heard absolutely NOTHING from! Oh, the joys of progressive thrash metal (what this is, evidently).

To be specific, Mid-Tempo Thrash/Djent Metal with some Jazz influences. Either way, its not bad.
